With the recent airdrop of Auroracoin, I think it's IMPERATIVE to implement that one first.
Signed.

ONCE AGAIN, and OUTSIDE OF ANY VOTE
Auroracoin is one of the MOST TRADED coins out there.
Let your merchants make use of that!

Well trading, and spending it two different things. I believe the trading part is due to the air drop. People cashing in their coins for a few Iceland bucks. lol. Just my opinion.

Well, trading without an outlet for the actual coin is outright detrimental to a coins' economy. If you cannot SPEND your AUR, you will only sell it for BTC, another coin wasted.
As a merchant, I want to give my customers the ability to pay how they want, provided I have the tools for that.

Understandable. We will be having a vote next few days anyways, so watch out for that. We'll keep links posted. :-)

I dunno how much trouble it is to incorporate a new coin, but it should also be in YOUR best interest to be on top of things and see to it that, say, the top 10 traded coins (not to mention market cap) measured in volume by BTC should be readily available for your / our customers - totally outside of any votes and such.

Understandable, again. But we've had issues with coins being added, and absolutely no transactions happen, ever. You wanting to accept a coin is cool, but having the people to actually spend it, another thing... Any who... New vote: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563787.new

Good luck to everyone. (locking this tread to avoid vote thread confusing)

IXC was 7th with 11 votes (and that was being generous, several of those were definitely botted as well).

Edit: Here are the stats for IXC: 245 votes removed due to duplicate IPs (leaving one vote per IP intact unless they were part of an obvious bot pattern, mostly Tor here), 8 fake/bounced emails, and 24 using Tor that matched the pattern the duplicate IPs were using.

The 13,000 ICN has been exchanged for Bitcoin now raising an extra 0.46297029 BTC for the The Water Project Smiley

It has been sent to them with Bitcoin transaction ID 8d07b2dc21d5768225efb83ea9449b926813e89bbd7d3c0fd148269061a2d0a5 https://blockchain.info/tx/8d07b2dc21d5768225efb83ea9449b926813e89bbd7d3c0fd148269061a2d0a5

The BTC has been sent to The Water Project and they will shortly be tweeting a confirmation. Here is the Bitcoin transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/eb72db7099524eb7d6c1801e99a3f723dba2a999c29d0bceb264cddb916be88b

It will also apply towards the BitGive Project's campaign at https://thewaterproject.org/community/profile/bitgive-foundation

Once the iCoin has been exchanged we will send it along as well (big thanks to the iCoin team for that!)
