Who says KYC can 100 eliminate scammer and identity theft users from exploiting the casino, we have quite a good number of cases where the scammer abused the casino for a very long time before being discovered that the abuser is operating under false kyc documents, this has lead casinos into losing millions of dollars to abusers and sometimes this kind of situation can lead to casino bankruptcy.
KYC is used to decrease scammer can gamble on the casino, there's no any 100% method to eliminate any scammer, yeah the combination of live discussion, video verification, and update the old KYC with the new one for every month will able to eliminate scammers, at the same time it will eliminate any honest and innocent gambler because they are frustrating due to very strict rules on the casino. Maybe you have a way to eliminate 100% scammer without make the innocent gambler leave the casino?

Do not forget that KYC is a way to prevent fraud. No person who has passed KYC will cheat. Another thing is that the casino must provide such conditions that it is impossible to purchase other people's accounts with KYC or pass fake KYC. If casino conducts KYC, then everything should be as honest as possible.

If a person wants to commit fraud and knows in advance that he will commit it, then he will find ways to avoid KYC, if he does not find such ways, then he will go to another casino where KYC is not so hard or there is no KYC at all.
Well, personally, I think KYC really does stop users from committing crimes, most especially, on the casino where they've passed KYC verification, but then also, this does not completely stop people from committing crimes if they have set their minds to doing it, this is because for some countries, it is really not so hard to obtain fake documents requests for KYC verification by the casino, and for some casinos, detecting this fake documents is pretty difficult.

This is me simply saying that KYC verification have indeed helped to reduce the amount of crimes committed online, but it has not completely eradicated it since there are some casinos out there that don't even ask their users to verify their account.
One method to identify criminals in gambling is KYC verification. I also think KYC is needed. Several casinos place special emphasis on KYC especially those who are license based casino. Some casinos give relatively less importance. KYC is not mandatory if no unusual activity is observed. Some casinos have the option of gambling and withdrawing money without KYC. But overall, if all casinos made KYC mandatory, the amount of crime could be reduced significantly.
Criminals are very smart now that they complete kyc with fake documents instead of using their own documents.  Therefore, casino sites should not make KYC mandatory, but should monitor the kyc steps more closely.  So that no one can complete KYC with fake documents.  and they should allowing casino play with small amounts without kyc. By using this technique it will be possible to deter real criminals from their illegal activities

Anonymity is not the same thing as privacy. You do not get to be anonymous by any government standard. Because being anonymous means you get to dodge responsibility when you do something wrong. Privacy is the right not to divulge anything about yourself that you wish not to divulge.

No legitimate Casino in this world is going to help you be anonymous. They have regulators breathing down their necks and looking at their hands at all times. Casinos have a duty to weed out bad actors like money launderers, scammers, terrorists and so on.

Just because the KYC is not demanded when you register an account does not mean you will not have to give your KYC on demand, later.

In fact, every legit casino which does not demand KYC on registration mentions this in their Terms Of Service.

First when casino advertise in this forum, it does not get exposed to only forum members alone, but also other visitors to the forum will also get to notice them also and and getting wider visibility enhances the casino traffic generation and potential revenue increase.
so it makes sense that casinos decide to advertise here as they hope to reach not only those that are part of the forum but all of those that may visit it once in a while.

I have different theories regarding the reason why casinos like to advertise on this forum.

Perhaps they think that anyone willing to invest into cryptocurrencies would be a person who is risky in nature and therefore would make a good gambling cash-cow? I think that might be correct, but only from a certain part of the community. A lot of us understand crypto is not gambling but rather it can be used for gambling. Those are two different things and they should be respected individually as such.

Or perhaps gambling was just one of the very first adopters of cryptocurrency and blockchain, and we as a community have therefore accepted it into our culture for this very reason?

It is really a bit hard to tell without extensive research.
I also believe so, the gambling market has become one of the highest markets for cryptocurrency and ever since the creation of the first coin in 2009 the phase of payment to the online casino has changed and they have widely adopted cryptocurrency since bitcointalk has been the first and only original bitcoin discussion forum, all services that use Bitcoin will like to have a long term promotion here in the forum.
One of the factors behind the rapid development of crypto casinos is the desire of a gambler to remain anonymous. KYC is not required when it joins crypto casino. Deposits may be complicated in fiat gambling sites but in crypto casinos a gambler is able to conduct gambling activities by making quick deposits without any hassles. I personally handled gambling at Bet365. But I had to face a lot of problems to deposit and withdraw ‍on that site. But I haven't gambled at any other fiat currency supported casino since I made my first deposit at Crypto Casino platform. Day by day its scope will be expanded.

Now that you say that, I would also have to agree with the second scenario in which casinos and cryptocurrencies have gone hand in hand since their inception. I am not sure if this reflects positively on the cryptocurrency community nor the gambling community but I guess one of the good things is that crypto has added value thanks to all the online crypto casinos.

It also seems to explain why the exchanges are using marketing tactics which are usually native to casinos.

Cryptocurrency owners are gambling by nature and like to take risks. The one who does not take risks does not buy cryptocurrency. In addition, anonymity is valued as highly in cryptocurrencies as in casinos, because no one wants to show their big prizes. Money loves silence.

The second reason you give makes way more sense to me, if you were to ask me which is the most profitable business we have in this market then I would say exchanges take the top spot with ease, but when it comes to the second kind of business which makes the most profits I will say casinos take that spot, casinos and cryptocurrencies make a winning combination, and even if we cannot enjoy as much privacy as we did on the early days I still think the overall experience is better than the experience you can get with fiat casinos.

Just got scammed by them, they are the same as 1xbit.

When you make a withdraw request, you get logged out of the account and now it says the data is incorrect.

do not underestimate this because there are many gambling sites that become scams when they are unable to fulfill the requests of users who make withdrawals, this is caused by these gambling sites having problematic liquidity (not large and stable)
The main thing that many users complain about is the withdrawal when they get a win. Regardless of the amount some players want to withdraw it. There is a category of players who do not want to keep their money on gambling sites both in large and small amounts.

Do you realize that many players who place bets on 1xBit sites experience such complaints?

every online gambling business developer must think about this because even a small mistake (failure to fulfill the request of a user making a withdrawal) can destroy the reputation of their site. coinplay developers are surely very careful with liquidity problems.

You are right. Liquidity is very important for any casino, and to maintain it, it is necessary to constantly attract new users and retain old ones. And for this, the casino must clearly fulfill all its obligations and not have a problem with withdrawing funds. Any failure can lead to a loss of liquidity.

1xBit.. recovered their reputation
Each casino has its unique bankrolls and other things so casinos are not the same and gamblers can not apply their one strategy without modifications for all casinos for similar games.

It's like trading, each exchange has different trading volume and gap between buy and sell walls so that with same capital, a trader will have different impacts on price as well as their entries and exits. Generally, people like exchanges with high trading volume because they want to get as less effects on their entries and exits as possible.

Similar for casinos, they will more prefer to choose big casinos with good reputation and good budgets to pay users even big wins. They don't have to worry that when they win big, a casino will run away or pull KYC card or something against user just to avoid paying out.
Liquidity is very important for casinos. After all, the more players there are in the casino, the higher the jackpot and the more opportunities for earning. That is why players are attracted to large casinos.

Since many casinos have adopted cryptocurrencies and more gamblers have opted for the option of betting using bitcoins or other altcoins, they have reasons to bet with crypto over fiat betting. This forum has opened a space to discuss all activities from cryptocurrencies including gambling and some reviews about sports for gambling that can be considered for analysis before you choose the wrong team.
Casinos are adopting cryptocurrencies as a currency to be able to bet there because they have the goal of being able to get lots of gamblers who want to join them. We can see that in recent years more and more crypto users are also interested and getting into the gambling industry.
They are casino owners in the business of providing a place for gamblers to play and bet. Therefore they will do what can make gamblers happy and have an interest in using their services.
For gamblers like me I prefer the option of using crypto rather than fiat because by using crypto indirectly I have also invested briefly because in some casinos there are crypto values in their wallets that can follow from the price of crypto on the market so every time there is a price increase I can too profit there.
But I'm sure there must be other reasons for gamblers that I don't know why they prefer to gamble using crypto.
