What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.
Bitcoins and ethereum are both profitable but if you are planning to earn more profit then the best coin to invest is bitcoins because the growth of this coin in the market is faster more than ethereum.
If asked about the best coins for holding exclude the BTC and ETH, i will prefer to EOS and ADA. the two coins are still growing. but, they have had good volume and trading analysis. But, when we want to add the tokens from ICO, I believe that the tokens with the ready products to utilize will also have brighter future price. So, I can also choose those kinds of token from ICO.
CMT, XRP, ADA, XLM, TRX, XVG. These are good coin, good foundation, large capitalization along with separate blockchain technology, stand out. They are very suitable to hold long, can hold for 1 year, 2 years 3 years, ... now the purchase price is very good, there will not be many opportunities such low prices.

for Long term Holding , I never worried with this project. Credits (CS). you can do with your own research , how the progress of this project until this day, and how consistence they are with their mission and vision , and the last how strong the community believe with this project. and the most favorite thing for me , they will be the fastest blockchain ever with their 1.000.000 Transaction/second.
So many coins which you can choose for long term but I think you'll not have enough money to invest in all of them

There are some coins that I want to suggest you, that are ADA, Tronx, XVG, Monero and Litecoin. It has enough condition to hold for long-term.
I want to say if I also want to suggest to you. The best coins I've ever held are ETH, NEO, GELOMBANG, EOS, and ADA. They are all promising and profitable coins in my opinion. Because at that time they had given me benefits. so I suggest you hold 5 coins soon and surely you will feel the benefits
For me the coins to hold would be TERNIO,NPXS and SuperBitcoin. Accumulate a few in your wallets and wait!

After of the ethereum and bitcoin, I think holding an amount of neo, stratis waves and litecoin can be really profitable. If you can hold them efficiently, I think you can have great profits.
NEO is called Ether from China so I'm sure NEO will be as successful as Ethereum in the future, with a limited supply of NEO, I'm sure over time the NEO will be more expensive.
I think Stellar and EOS are the best choice, both are good coin to hold for long term investment and I also invest there.
i can suggest you to study the lose profit of some other alts in the market, there is a lot of coin in the market which you can choose what coin if more profitable in this bitcoin recovery and hooping that soon all the alts will rise too.

except bitcoin and ethereum i prefer you to hold EOS, IOS token, and bouts pro, because since i hold this coins it always showing potential and always pump when the market stabilize and when bitcoin is pumping as well. That's why i still believe that this coins is good for long run .

Without bitcoin and ETH, I think ADA, NEM, ABT, NEO, EOS, LTC, XRP, XMR will be a good choice for a long time hold. Holding with a good coin can change your life, that's why you have to care before investing for a long-term Hold. These coins are for long-term hold coins. For me, I am holding altcoins like Cardano (ADA). Because the team of academics behind Cardano has done diligent work to ensure that Cardano has everything needed to be a major force in the future. So, we can see some serious development and a huge potential in the future. I think if all goes well, Cardano will give huge profit.
If I were you, I would choose NEO and XRP, this coins look really nice and probably they will be the good alternate to choose if you want to earn some cash.
