@Plenty
COINLIST is on our improvement list. For now enter them manually, via custom exchange or Excel Template.
FIL: you are the first one asking for it. It would take some time here. For now just import them as well via the manual options.

I am seeking to import txs from the (Coinlist) Exchange API or CSV.

I don't see it.  When Coinlist Exchange API and CSV support?

Also i am seeking FILCOIN wallet address import support.

Gemini, Coinbase, Kraken, AND Coinlist all offer FILECOIN staking.

FIL is the top decentralised storage blockchain network.

When support for FIL? It was a top 20 coin

@BigBadDiver
We are working on an automated solution here. Thank you for your patience.
Please follow this FAQ here for now (rename those coin ticker to "xyzScam"): "How to avoid or unwanted transactions/re-imports or SCAM token via API jobs?"(https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000038763?lang=en)

Hi

Started using CoinTracking and it's the only thing I've found so far that is more or less successful in handling Farming, so happy about that.

Q. How do I force the program to permanently delete shitcoin entries?  I have many rubbish transactions in my BSC wallet (address import).  I delete them, they keep coming back each time there is an automatic update :-(  I can't even get to a listing of import jobs to see what is happening or kill them.  It would also be useful to be able to have more control over them, like start and end date, do not re-import old data switch, etc.

AVAX soon hopefully later this year, Pangolin would take longer as our focus is on Top20 chains first.

@BNO
There is an FAQ available explaining that in detail: "Exchange closed or missing data due to wallet inaccessibility" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000034626?lang=en).
You need to add those transactions you have first and then add the "corresponding" ones as described in the FAQ.
@ProLoade
Via ETH or BSC (e.g. https://cointracking.info/import/bsc_address/) or BNB API Import jobs. We do not support those wallets itself via CSV direct import.

Hi Andreas,

Quote
1. You can filter almost every report by date. At APIs there could be start date set. Only transactions after this date will be imported. But you need to add all transactions from your transaction history.

So how would i do the following then:
My history with crypto goes back a long way.. A to long way to reconstruct everything.. There was a btce account back then, the account is gone.. and so on.
Since the gains are free after 1 year in my country and the rest is losses.. The "taxable stuff" is at a loss. I forfeit those losses, since it is not possible to go back that of a long time since some exchange like btce are gone etc. I need to have a starting point like 1st of January of 2019 and take it from there.

How would i do this then? Can i manually create a origin deposit/trade myself in the software and start it from there? Because how the taxation works is you start wit a deposit with a date. Then the software calculates buys and sales and with that gains and losses and calculates the "time difference" how many days passed from the start (in case that after a holding period of XX days its tax free).

You have 14 days cancel period like always.

Couldn't find anything on website, is it like no questions asked?

Greetings!

2. Yes you can create tax reports for all past years with a PRO license.

Hello,

a couple of quick questions:

  • Is it possible to start the calculations let's say at 1st of January 2018 and type in a start value for the account balance like 0.18btc. This start value does match the account balance at the 1st of January 2018, but i want to exclude the tx from before?? Or does the does not support a user defined "starting point" and needs to run throug ALL the Txs from the beginning of the account (which is 10 years for some accounts in my case), no matter if this is needed or not
  • If i buy a pro plan it says 3500 tx down it says for 1 Year. So for example if i buy this plan can i use the software for 365 days but make tax reports for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 till i reach the limit of 3500 tx or could i make only a tax-report for 1 year (like 2020) with the max of 3500 tx
  • Is there a money back guarantee and what are the conditions of it? Accointing demands a lot of things to get money back how is it here?

A transfer contains of a withdrawal and a deposit transaction - so it is always a withdrawal+deposit if you move a coin from A to B (=transfer).
So it applies for all of your 3 cases @CryptoJason71

$200-$500 per hour is the price range I've seen for consultants.  The one's I spoke with are pretty booked up right now as well.

No idea if those transactions are transfers, withdrawals or deposit.

Using CoinTraking.info
Trying to find a reasonably priced consultant.  Our system is working, it appears we have a few misclassifications on withdrawals.

1.  If I send USDT from Kraken to KuCoin, to trade on KuCoin, how should I tag this?  Is this a withdrawal and a deposit? Or should it be marked as a Transfer?

2.  If I send from Kraken to Exodus and then use Exodus to pay contractors.  Should Kraken to Exodus be a Withdrawal / Deposit, and then Spend when it leaves Exodus.

3,  I have some USDT that went, Kraken to KuCoin and then back to Kraken to trade once again.  Are these Withdrawal / Deposit at each step, or is this a Transfer?

If chains are not supported yet (TRON will be available soon) please add those transactions manually. See "Entering Transactions - API / CSV / manually" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000018166?lang=en)
DEFI transactions should be imported fine. If you have "old" transactions please delete those and re-import them again as we improve those imports weekly.
Regarding closed exchanges this FAQ is helpful: "Exchange closed or missing data due to wallet inaccessibility" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000034626?lang=en).
And this is one of the most important FAQs: How to validate my account? (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000035339?lang=en)

Hello all,

Does anyone out there have a recommendation on who to reach out to for professional help using cointracking?

I need someone who knows how to deal with missing transactions from closed down exchanges, lost wallets.  How to import in cointracking with chains not supported by cointracking such as Tron and Hive.  How to tell the difference between income and a fee or transfer in defi such as uniswap in this software. Would be nice if they could look at my account information and give a estimate rather than ask for $1,600 and we will bill you the rest when we are done.

This software works well and is easy to understand if you have typical stock like trades, otherwise not easy as all.  It's just raw data that you have to figure out.

And why is this place dead?  where do people go to talk through all this stuff?

Hey @Andreas_CoinTracking
Is there any way to import activity on the Solana Chain/network (like you can with ETH transactions)?
Many thanks!
