You could use "other expense" but the result will be the same. The easiest way is to summarize you spend on the trade list e.g. per year and deduct it manually from your income.

@Andreas_CoinTracking
Is there any other way of inputting 'Spend' so it can be treated differently and viewed in the reports (ideally as an expenditure). ie is there any other transaction type I can use?

I realise this is not the way most people will be doing it.

Thanks

@shpr
There is no separate spend report available but you can filter for "spend" transaction e.g. on the trade list (full view) https://cointracking.info/trades_full.php for spend and e.g. 1 year (start/end date) and deduct it from your income if allowed in your country.

@samhayne
SHIBZ is the current and correct ticker for Shibazilla and value is zero. Please rename your coin into this ticker.

@paulthetafy
Please check the status with Polygon on their social media for news. And you can contact them for status update. We won´t change the provider for now as it would take weeks.

Hello,

I felt a bit crazy today and bought some Shibazilla for a few bucks.
Unfortunately the circulating supply of that coin is so high (and therefore the coin value so low) that it looks like Cointracking reached its cap of 10,000,000,000,000,000.00 coins per currency.

The wallet importer also gave up.

(I hear a programmer sighing...)

Unfortunately I don't even see a workaround. :-/

Hello,

I'm trying to find out why I cannot see 'Spend' in the CoinTracking tax report (or in any reports).

ie for an Income / Expenditure report

In tax report can see the Income list/total, but I do not see a list/total for Spend...

Surely I need to deduct the Spend from the Income as part of my tax return?  Huh

Thanks

PS.
Is there any way to search within this thread?

We do not know when Binance are providing those data. So you can ask them.

@DTrading2
As Binance does not offer all data via CSV or API. Therefor we have the warning on the page and the FAQ. If some are missing you need to add them manually.

do you know when CT is going to fix the problem?

Hi,

I wanted to ask why Binance's CSV COMPLETE IMPORT (BETA) only partially supports operations performed on Earn.

What does it mean that only partially import them?

Thx,

@SidSuper
Then you are using either the wrong files and/or the wrong Binance CSV importers. Please follow exactly the instruction pages for the CSV importers.
For Binance we recommend using API V2 together with CSV "generate all statement" (BETA) importer.

Hi,

I am new to Coin Tracking.

I started by trying to import what I thought would be the easiest - Binance transactions.

When I go to important Binance Transactions History I get error messages "Error: We couldn't find a timestamp. This trade will not be imported.Error: We couldn't find a buy or a sell value. This trade will not be imported.Error: We couldn't find a timestamp. This trade will not be imported.Error: We couldn't find a buy or a sell value. This trade will not be imported."

Also when I go to import the Binance Futures Transaction History it asks whether these transactions are Deposits or Withdrawals but they contain both.

Can anyone assist?

Hello,
I have signed up for an account two days ago and I have been trying to make the Gate.io reporting work, however the API does not seem to properly track the cost of my coins. I have been trying repeatedly to upload the transactions in Excel format, but after several attempts I am not getting a message saying that I have reached the transaction limit and need to upgrade my account. I need help resolving this issue, since I am still unable to make Gate.io extract work properly in the application an I did not actually use up all my 20,000 transactions available since I had to repeatedly cancel the imported ones.
Thanks

We will adjust the Huobi importer here regarding SOL2 and ONE2 to avoid that in the future. For now renaming is the way to solve it after import.

API import coins labels seem to be going wrong. I refer to Huobi and found Solana $SOL or SOL2 in CoinTracking (CT) was labeled as SOL a dead coin.
Similarly Harmony One ($ONE) was not ONE2 in CT but the BigOne ONE

I corrected manually. Is there a way to log these for future correction when the team get to the issue list?

PS: Have to learn this UI. the forum has  a very strange set of rules and getting to draft post after 2 minutes of searching a topic to avoid duplication was  Huh. I found some help on stack exchange. Sigh !!

@jsdeluxe
There is no option to add a "custom price history". We have this on our improvement list.
You can only set current price and edit the "asset value" manually when the e.g. trade happen of a non listed asset.

Hello,

i am looking forward for a feature to manualy import prices for a coin/token over time from a .csv, based on USD (or EUR, BTC) for example day-average prices. Even better an automatic import from an online source. Similar as in the program PortfolioPerformance.

On the "costum price" page i am allowed to add or overwrite a price for a coin/token. But this is only a snapshot of the price I manualy entered and performance calculation is limited. For example prices update only when i do trades. This often leads to wrongful spreads, even negative.
As there are tokens, like those from 'invictus capital', which will never be listed on an exchange, a manual import of i.e. daily/hourly prices based on a currency you support (USD, EUR, BTC) would be helpful.

Anything like this already mentioned somewhere?

greetings

What's wrong with Polygon (MATIC) imports? No new tx imports since Oct 21.
