I think its OK but I if I was wearing a porn sig I think people would take what I have to say even less seriously than they already do... I can imagine it going something along the lines of:

Me: Craig Wright is a fraud. There's no way he's Satoshi, man. How can you guys believe that stuff? Plus that Calvin Ayre guy is pretty creepy.

Them: Yeah well at least we're not advertising porn in our signature space.

I think it's less offensive than gambling myself. Most people look at porn at some point. They're going to do it whatever. They may as well do it through here rather than anywhere else as long as it's all consenting stuff.

Porn's pretty much universal. Gambling isn't. By advertising it all you're doing is enticing someone to wiggle their willy around for a bit rather than drain junior's college fund and make everyone homeless in search of a win.

I think they're both depressing as fuck in the main but at least porn carries less risk for total ruin.

Probably just gonna stick with Bit Blender.

Depends what the money is saying. If it’s better pay than my current campaign & a trustworthy, legal & legit site then I’ll wear any kind of sig/avatar Wink

I’m such a slut Cheesy

Unfortunately, I won't be participating in a porno signature campaign. I just can't bring myself to wear a signature with a picture of some woman with a look of ecstasy on her face and huge hooters. I'm sure most here would feel the same if it had pictures of glistening muscular men.
Edit: Now that I think of it, these signature adds can't contain realistic pictures, right? Maybe this is nothing to be afraid of but to embrace.

As most of you probably know by now, I like to listen to the community before I do anything definitive.

I've been approached about a pornsite who may want me to run a Signature Campaign here at Bitcointalk. Now there's nothing illegal with legit porn sites and as far as I know there's nothing against promoting such sites here either but I'd still like to hear what you guys think about it, would people apply? (With good payrates people don't seem to care what they advertise but still). If anything would come up that they've been doing some shennanigans later on, could I get in trouble for marketig it here? Should I consider it in any way immoral to promote pornographic content here?

Feel free to discuss, I'd prefer it to be on topic and without multiple posts about "Your campaign, your decision" etc. One post is enough and different opinions are always welcome.

I have the best example that will make it very easy for you to decide whether to take the campaign or not.
Sunny Leone who has acted in many pornographic films is well respected by many because it was her own decision to act in porn movies.
I respect her too since I believe that there is no work that leads to discrimination. Every job should be respected unless it does not harm anybody in anyway.

So, if the campaign that you are receiving does not harm anybody in anyway then you should probably take it if you are willing to.
There is no harm in accepting a porn campaign.

As long as these site have something to do with cryptocurrencys, I think this shouldn't be a problem to do a signature campaign for them. Only if the site does not accept crypto as payment, i wouldn't like a signature campaign here in the forum so much.
I can still remember Redcoin (not Reddcoin). They also advertise their own adult site here in the forum and it was no problem as they accepted crypto as a payment.  Smiley

Should be no problem as long it would be handled right as many other Signature Campaigns have done that !

There are for sure a few Users maybe that dont would be like this but i have no problem to see some kind of Signature from Porn Sites,
because in today's age you see everywhere some Porn like on TV and other places.
Porn is something normal today in my opinion and guess the most will have no problems with it !

The most important question payments in bitcoin or bonus consummations  Grin ? Just kidding.

If you add a +18 should be ok, we got few of them on the past like even if they are now dead or scam.

Should I consider it in any way immoral to promote pornographic content here?

Imho as long as the already discussed parts (NSFW marking near the links, no porn in avatars or signatures..) it should be fine.

If anything would come up that they've been doing some shennanigans later on, could I get in trouble for marketig it here?

Well.. this is the same for all signature campaigns.
A good campaign manager need to do a bit of background check to make sure he doesn't endorse scams. And always be prepared to stop the campaign (and reimburse participants) if anything shady comes to surface.
If you don't do this then you can have troubles indeed. You know as good as me that the ones enrolling for a signature campaign don't do the background checks (some may simply rely on you!) and if anything is bad, they'll blame you.
As I said, this is no different from non-porn campaigns, after all. So no extra worries.

Remove the signatures completely so that you wont be able to receive money from scam ICOs.
Most of the bounties are useless right now because of the current market conditions,so its better to remove these spams.
Yes,spams like your post. Tongue

For op it is nothing wrong on promoting such site until it is legit and there are many signature campaigns were run on bitcointalk based on porn and adult related ICOs.But you think it is not right thing to promote then you can simply avoid those kind of project it depends on your wish since nothing wrong on promoting a legit site here.

Principal Issues Based on the background of the problem above, then I can say it's your right to implement a porn campaign.

How do people view ethics against pornographic campaigns?

For this forum, there are various countries and religions here, such as, Christianity, Buddhism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Islam, each of them has different opinions and views on pornography, advertising, media, Kapamye porn, this one internet container of course there are pros and cons.
for me this is not a problem, implemented a porn campaign, while it does not deviate from human nature.

The point: to make money, and even then as a picture that is seen is not a crime that is done real / direct. if this is contrary to their respective religions, do not see or participate in pornographic campaigns, and if you feel this is entertainment or life, please participate in the porn campaign.

Likened to like onlein gambling. Many religions forbid gambling, but instead act, so a pornographic campaign depends on the thinking of each person, positive or negative ways of thinking.

I see (@Hhampuz) have done a lot of campaigns to produce BTC for bitcointak members here,
do something that you think is good, useful for everyone.

Think it's pretty clear by now that you've got your confirmation survey: in general, we believe people don't care too much about what they're promoting if the rates are good. When it does come to discerning members, though, you've got some of the most liberal attitudes, and the adult industry isn't going to raise eyebrows.

I'd say that privacy concerns might apply, for those concerned about future shenanigans, as you say, any association with pron, past or present, would jeopardise their other professional relationships. I couldn't participate because of that, for example. This is something you might want to think about. Would future potential clients avoid looking you up if they knew you'd run such a campaign? I would, in addition to "the community" also ask the opinion of existing clientele. Not that it's their business, of course. But it might give you insight.

I think that before watching porn sites, people should be informed that the porn is addictive and causes erectile dysfunction.
That's it, I'm broken for life Sad

It is one of good way to spread crypto around and help it invading more into real life.
I was going to say the same thing: it means the real world (porn) is mixing more with Bitcoin, instead of just the usual mixers and casinos. That's a good thing for Bitcoin adoption.

As far as I can remember we have one before, [CLOSED] THE LEGENDS ROOM Signature Campaign. So I'm sure it is allowed in the community. So I'd say go for it and as long as you don't violate any terms here. Goodluck.

I'll be cool with such campaign and will consider applying if it doesn't have the image of nude females as avatar 😁 (since most site have that as their logo). I would get easily distracted by those and might end up stirring at the avatar each time I login forum without learning anything new daily. That'll be bad for my health.

It would be more better if you add a warning/disclaimer on signature about adult or 18+. So people's will aware before click the link that they are going to visit porno/18+ website  from signature.
Warnings or disclaimers are necessary as we all see on cigarette boxes or violent videos on Youtube, etc. Therefore, it is required for sure.
However, the fact is such warnings/ disclaimers tend to increase the attention of readers, visitors.
One of basic human charateristics is curiosity, and they tend to find out which prohibited/ warned.  Cheesy
