"It's time for schools to focus on the root cause of online teen gambling by implementing gambling prevention education in all high schools. Health class curricula across the nation cover the typical risks for teens such as smoking, drinking, vaping, etc yet gambling education is nowhere to be found in our schools. "
Drinking, smoking and vaping.
Well, these are the habits that somehow grace the environment of a physical casino or sport betting arena. Eventually, it’s become real associated with gambling but, these are activities you find more in clubs. I wonder though, what’s the curriculum on gambling going to look like?
Are they going to have the habits as some subtopic to develop on under gambling or it’s just going to surface under consequences?
Teenage gambling is something I’m so pissed about haven’t seen a few first hand and the resentment I express towards it but, I don’t think it deserves a page in the curriculum. Perhaps it could be taught under some addictive habits that could be impacting but, gambling can actually go without alcohol and the vices that it’s been linked with.
Just as well as, ragge music can go without weed. There is a natural association of ragge music to weed but, it ain’t so, its love and oneness.
Learning this would be faster if parents exhausted quality time with kids.
That’s the problem. Parents aren’t being much responsible these days and when you find your child getting out of a path set for them, they just look out on whom or where to place the blame and gambling has been the victim on several occasions.
