This will create a huge hype, I am sure many people wants to see McGregor and Manny fight in the ring. Manny has an advantage since boxing is his forte and he is well known for his powerful left hand and speed. It will be interesting how McGregor will prepare and adjust on this fight if this happens.

Why would he even bother trying to prepare? Surely he can't be so overconfident that he thinks he has any chance of doing anything other than getting knocked out?

Pacquiao isn't like Mayweather, he's obviously going to put the pressure on McGregor and will probably try and finish the fight early. After all, his gas tank probably isn't what it used to be, so I doubt he wants it to go into the later rounds and give McGregor a tiny chance of catching him while he's tired.

I hope the fight doesn't go ahead, and if it does, I hope it flops at the box office. These BS crossovers should not be encouraged.
If it would last for how many rounds then i would say that Pacquiao will make it on purpose. For what? As a complimentary for Conor and for some entertainment and hype for fans.

It would be no fun if the fight would only last 1 or 2 rounds and as this fight would be hyped up then the more money would be generated. As usual where Boxing do becomes a business
for its promoters and the true essence of Boxing is already gone and making it already as an entertainment.  Grin

The boxing fans had a clear idea when the fight was made between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather that it will be an exhibition match and everyone knew that Conor will not even land a single punch simply because during his colored career no boxer was able to land many punches through his career and if someone thought that someone making his boxing debut can land a punch is just ridiculous and still that fight became the biggest selling fights in history.
Conor McGregor was a really hot commodity when he was facing Floyd Mayweather as he won all the fights he predicted and even became a double champion in the UFC and Mayweather was retired by that time and when McGregor challenged Mayweather everyone expected Conor to upset him because of his powerful left which helped in defeated all the others fighters and everyone who wanted to see Mayweather loose the fight purchased the PPV and so is the reason it was the biggest fight in history but if they rematch i do not think they will retain the same level of interest.

I don't think many people wants to see this fight. If we look back to McGregor vs Mayweather fight people are disappointed and feels like they were scammed. Real boxing fans doesn't want another clown fighting a legend in boxing.

That's only an initial reaction, maybe they want to see it again now.

Just like after the fight of Manny and Mayweather, after the fight, a lot of people were disappointed on the fight and it's result, but now they are pushing a rematch although we already know that its still gonna be the same boring fight.

I don't think so. This will create a little hype. In fact, quite the opposite, this will create criticisms among sports fanatics, both MMA fanatics and boxing fanatics. This kind of match up is not solid. This is not something that is according to the demand of the sports fans. This is just made according to a few people who are trying to make an experiment and big money.

It might be easier for Conor to win versus Floyd Mayweather than Pacman, I reckon. Pacman's hand speed, strength and cardio would overwhelm Conor in all the rounds

But Mayweather is undefeated so its safe to say that he is better than Manny Pacquiao.

With Mayweather intelligence in the ring, he knows how to fight without him putting in a risky situation that he could be knock out, manny is different, he like to give more entertainment to the fans so he will be aggressive, I like to see it happen and possibly a knock out for Conor would happen.

Yes Floyd is better than Pacman, however, Pacman's style, hand speed, hand strength and cardio will be harder for Conor. Pacman will not give him time to rest.

Watch their differences on the heavy bag practice.

I am talking about in overall performance in boxing, I agree that Manny is better than Floyld but that would be my bias opinion because I am a fan.
if we haven't seen Manny knock out an opponent lately, most probably we will see it soon when these two will fight.

Senator Manny Pacquiao will not refuse to fight Conor. Knowing Senator Manny, he is always on the look out for an opportunity to fight and earn more. I remember way back 2017 he even offered Conor to fight him if his fight with Floyd did not push through. Definitely this will generate a lot of views but they need to agree on the venue.
I never heard about him offering to fight if Mayweather backed out, Manny and a McGregor fight would be MASSIVE though. I'd really like to see it but again Manny is getting older.

McGregor has hinted that he’ll take on Manny, and this is huge guys finally we’re getting close where they’ll announce a official date for this match. Though McGregor may be young but I strongly feel that Manny will beat him, and according to this article this may possibly be Manny’s retirement match too. What do you’ll think will Manny call it quits post this match (if it happens), or will he have one more fight left in him?.

Considering that both of these people have already achieved greatness in their fields, I think it is not necessary for us to see them fight, they have different sports and with practices that are totally different. So, it is unfair for one of both parties to choose the field of the other, though it will be exciting, having different rules completely will make it possible to happen and if that happens, I would be happy to watch as well.
Yes, this will be an interesting fight and I have to watch it.
Connor McGregor is never satisfied and he will make up for the defeat that happened in the previous fight and try to challenge and duel with left-handed boxer Manny Pacquiao with a hard and nimble punch without thinking about differences in his field and whatever it is.
I think Connor McGregor will not be able to beat Manny Pacquiao because the difference is superior to Pacquiao in the boxing ring.

Oh looks like McGregor want to catch millions again since whatever the result place he will earn for that fight since he know Pacquiao is famous next to Mayweather and Pacquiao doesn't need to prove anything since we all know McGregor will lose to that fight again since he don't have enough air to prolong the fight until 12 rounds. But if Pacquiao will accept this fight then it will be fun to watch since it's interesting to see on how he will beat McGregor on quickly.

I don't think I can watch something that is so obvious, I prefer to watch where both fighters are matched equally, Connor will be battling Khabib if the plans push through, this is what the big boss of UFC wants and this has the making of a mega fight than the Pacquiao fight.

Lol, Conor McGregor definitely knows how to make the money fights.

I bet Pacquiao can't wait to get in the ring with McGregor, he'll absolutely whomp on him just like Mayweather did. Then Conor will disappear for another year just like he did after his boxing debut.

I'll watch it once the fight is over and on Youtube. Anybody who pays for this fiasco is a complete idiot as it's completely obvious that McGregor has practically no chance against Pacquiao unless he happens to get a lucky shot in (which he wont).

He's just taking the fans and the sport of boxing for all the money he can. Good business, but not good for the fans.

After his fight against Mayweather, I don't think McGregor can lure boxing fans again. His boxing fight is almost like a scam for boxing fans and a big disappointment. If this fight will progress, this will never earn as much as what they envisioned to be.

Lets just talk about how McGregor got TKOed by Mayweather, and it all has something to do with endurance and stamina. McGregor is used to fight up to five rounds which is the maximum for UFC he also finished earlier when he knocks out the opponent or he gets knock out by them. McGregor isn't built to fight in a boxing ring that last up to 12 rounds. That's why when you see their previous fight you'll see that McGregor can keep up with Mayweather during the early rounds yet when the rounds go over round 5 you will see that he is fatigue and only trying to block Mayweather's punches. This is where Pacquiao has the advantage in the ring even though he is 41 years old he still has a stamina of a prime 26 or 27 years old and I know he can outlast McGregor in the ring even if you give McGregor the power and KO ability Pacquiao still has the speed and endurance to outbox him.
No doubt on that one when we do talk about stamina for lasting longer rounds and since the fight would be on boxing rules
then it'll do have 12 rounds of boxing and i wont be surprised that McGregor do already have a hanging tongue into these rounds.
Yes, he do have punching power but does he have the speed to cope up with Pacquiao? Im not underestimating him but you can
really tell on who do have the edge.

Does Manny Pacquiao always look for an opportunity to fight? Didn't the other folks are looking for an opportunity to fight Pacquiao? No way Pacquiao, a legend boxer will just accept a challenge coming from an MMA fighter.

And in 2017, Pacquaio is interested on that match but after he saw how McGregor performed against Mayweather, does it really worth to fight him? McGregor will gain more revenue if his next fight will be on UFC. On his recent win, there are folks there that might be on McGregor's list. That's worth to watch compare against a boxer.
