It will also be interesting how much money can be generated in this fight.

We all know that Floyd vs Conor generated tons of money, I'm sure at some point there will be some comparisons about it. The fight depends on Pacquiao though, is Manny willing to put his legacy on the line here?

I mean, why not?

Pacquiao would be interested in this fight. Not just because of the money but also the fact that McGregor fought with Floyd and saying that he has a high possibility of winning on this match. The proof that he's holding right now is that he said that he has a lot of hits than Pacquiao did with Mayweather. That is in the past so we do not know what will happen now if Pacman and the Golden Boy face again.

But in terms of boxing, Pacquiao will really dominate Conor because boxers have a wider span of stamina rather than UFC fighters. It was proven in Mayweather vs. McGregor, Conor was already tired that's why Mayweather seize the opportunity to beat his ass up. Same in Pacquiao vs. McGregor, you really think that he will win? In terms of UFC fight, maybe but it is about boxing. Manny Pacquiao is already a legendary boxer and how can you think that Conor will win. On the other hand, no matter what's the result, it is all about money.

I have read the majority opinion regarding this match on social media and it seems that most of them are going for Manny. It's an obvious mismatch for an UFC fighter to fight against a living legend and still a strong pound for pound boxer with a lot of belts from different divisions.

Whatver reason Conor had for doing this kind of match, he did this for his own sake and gain. We understand that boxing isn't for him but if this is what he wants and if Manny allows him to fight him, we'll see how a teacher will teach a kid.

That would be an easy win for Manny if the fight will be in boxing rules or easy win for Connor if that would be in the octagon. Both fighters have different fighting styles and stamina because of their sports. I think this match will be just for money, and the results will be too predictable.

Personally, I'm not a fan of this kind of fight, this is just for money, but the fight will be boring to watch because the results are pretty easy to predict.
I am not a fan of those fights either, the result is obvious even if Manny is no longer in his prime he is still one of the best boxers in history and he is not going to be easily defeated by anyone especially someone that does not really have a lot of experience in the boxing world.

Without a doubt if it happened I will see it since I love to watch Manny fight and there will be a lot of money involved for both fighters so it will be a good business decision for both of them, but the result of the fight is completely predictable.

I just read this news, and it looks similar to KSI vs Logan Paul, aka stupid match! Grin

Conor is not a boxer, and when he faced with a proper boxer, he will do the "gay clinch" just like what he did to Mayweather. I think he no longer dominates UFC (lost to Khabib), so he needs an easy paycheck. That's why he starts fighting washed-up boxers.

Well, if this match really happens, I'll still think Manny will win, simply because he was a great boxer.
No doubt on that and Manny pacquiao would surely win in the match. For sure there would be no bookies would offer this line yet its obvious on who would be the favorite.
We can really compare the capacities of a mma fighter to a real boxing warrior. We have seen on how McGregor perform when he boxed against Mayweather
and the result was just too obvious that he cant really able to match up.If mayweather is good in running and evading then how he would handle a fighter that
do love to box or belt to belt style?

I you are looking for a good fight then Conor needs to fight someone who is coming up in the sport of boxing and not someone who is established and at the top of the game. I am sure Manny will school him and if Conor wants his stock to rise in boxing he needs a win and not starting a career with two losses.
There is a difference in approach between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Manny is aggressive in his approach and Conor McGregor is a really good counter puncher and the problem he had with Mayweather is that he was not able to find the trigger as he was looking for that counter punch and he never got that and then he gassed out. So it will be an interesting fight if it happens as i still believe style makes fight.

He is confident that he can win against Manny Pacquiao that is why he will not find other fighters, he is seeing this fight as an opportunity to boost his career.
Everyone is confident before the fight, i am sure Conor McGregor is confident that he can beat Floyd Mayweather if there is a rematch and after that he will think that he can beat the third time around. You cannot fight the best in a sport and expect to win and that is the fact.

i would love to see this, how Manny Pacquiao will beat this one in the Boxing ring and i hope this will be much better than what MayWeather did .

but i doubt that this will happen in reality because for sure Manny wont step Himself down to Conors level as he is a fighter for dignity while McGregor is for manny and fame.

Money? 100%
Fight? 100% Mismatch
It is a mismatch to fight against elite boxers and you cannot compete with elite sportsperson just like that.
Mismatch or not, let's just hope for a good fight.  Grin

Conor still confident on winning back this time? For likes of Pacquiao, he wont stood a chance and its much better if he just behave on UFC rather
than messing around on boxing ring. Grin
The entire career of Conor McGregor is about confidence, if he is smart enough he will find other fighters rather than going after elite fighters who have proved everything and if he is looking at them as ageing competitors still hanging on and if he lands one punch then he will elevate himself to the next level without a doubt and if he takes this fight this will be his mentality.
He is confident that he can win against Manny Pacquiao that is why he will not find other fighters, he is seeing this fight as an opportunity to boost his career.

If this will come sooner or later, i hope it will not be bad just like the fight between Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. because connor really doesn't stand a chance to Floyd, that is why i really hope that Connor will now make a wonderful fight with Manny Pacquiao, even Manny has a hige advantage with his huge boxing experience.
He will have no chance against Pacquiao, we all know Pacquiao is very good at exploiting every situation, he is not a runner he is a boxer who can go all out and he is a better technician than Mayweather, I rather see him fight Khabib and gain his stature as the best MMA fighter, let's see all things is possible after he beat Cerrone.

Connor mcgregor has to prove himself against cowboy tonight before he can make these big money white collar events again. I don't think Connor is going to impress and think he will be a little ring rusty. Cowboy is no push over so I think he will suprise a lot of the people who are not regular watches of the UFC. I think a Connor Mcgregor and Khabib fight would be more anticipated than this and would generate more money. I don't think that Manny would take this fight.

Conor McGregor is making more money than Manny Pacquaiao with his MMA fights, if you take a look at the Manny Pacquiao Vs. Keith Thurman fight Manny Pacqaiao earned around $20 million while Conor in his last fight earned around $80 million, so the idea of Conor getting huge pay days only in boxing is just  a false pretext.

If Connor loses tonight then thats his career comeback finished. He has been in the news for some controversial things recently and will need to prove himself to the world with a good performance and if he fails to do that I don't think Connor will get a big fight again.
If Conor looses this fight then he will come down to 155 pound division or have the option to cut back to 145 pound division and restart his career once again if he wants to.

I'm surprise on their Face off Connor is very gentleman this time even shaking hands with Cerrone, very far from the old Mcgregor that we've used to see during face off where he always bad mouthed his opponent this time he is more patient and sober, let's see on fight time if we can see a Mcgregor this time, so much at stakes here for Connor.

Many Pacquiao is a legendary boxer for me ever since I was a small kid he is my favorite in boxing sports. Most people and analyst come up to their opinions about Mcgregor, but I am not used to follow him with his career.
As avid fan of Manny Pacquiao, I am 100% certain that he would win over ConorMG, if ever, there's a possible fight for the both boxers.

This match would be interesting.

Not just the money to be earned but also the comparison that would happen after the fight. We will be comparing three fighters with each other and one of them is not even a boxer. Manny would also be interested by this as far as I know.

It will also be interesting how much money can be generated in this fight.

We all know that Floyd vs Conor generated tons of money, I'm sure at some point there will be some comparisons about it. The fight depends on Pacquiao though, is Manny willing to put his legacy on the line here?

Everything is base on the money that is going to be offer on the table here. What is they give Pacquaio a offer he can't refuse? His legacy is already cemented, and at the end of the day, if the offer is good then he should accept it as we all know that he will be retiring soon.

I know that he is still fighting even at his age, but it's better to think ahead and forget about his legacy for a minute, just saying.
Nothing would be risk on when we do talk about Pacquiaos reputation.Even he's been beat up or lost to Conor, people wouldnt still recognized and would treat it as a giveaway fight.
I dont see for Pacquiao to refuse this one specially if the offered money is big.We know that boxing is someones business and having these kind of matches can really be considered as
an exhibition.Win or Loss, people do know on whose capable or the true fighter in the ring.

nothing is impossible, everything can happen, moreover McGregor has already fought against Mayweather who is not in his field.
McGregor is a man who is thirsty for possessions so he is ready to do anything even if in the end it will be beaten up by Pacquiao if the match takes place.

I would bet for this mam as he wouldn't expect to be hit by Manny's upper left hawk. Though he's eager to have a successful fight for Filipino champion, there must be a strenuous training and discipline in order to acquire some strategy to bear Pacquiao. Let's cherish the moments which we can watch them over the ring giving out punches.

I think it's high time that the boxers also face the UFC fighters in a mixed martial arts sports other than boxing. I am sure that the results would be different if they fight in a game that's going to favour the UFC fighters. Or they can arrange something that they will have two fights one being boxing and another being a mixed martial arts.  I believe that's going to be fair to both fighters.
