Argentina has always been my favourite to win the Copa America, and their first game performance has nothing to do with it. They are so United and they play as a team. They're also very disciplined. The first goal they scored against Canada was a classic team effort, it was almost similar to Di Maria's goal against France in the World Cup final.
Argentina weren't at their best yesterday but they still managed to put in a decent performance against a resilient Canada.
Some people have already written them off, but the joke's on those people. Remember how they started in the World Cup and kept getting better as the tournament progressed? That's how it would be this time around.

Well if it were to be some years back then the Chilean team would have also been a strong contender for the title but as it's stands now I think their team isn't that strong anymore as the likes of Alexis Sanchez and atoru Vidal have all lost their strides and no big name is on the squad that can make the team stand out, I think they were the ones who have given the Argentina team a real problem when it comes to this trophy.

I've actually not taken my time to check each of the groups in the ongoing Copa America tournament just like I've done in the ongoing UEFA Euros Championship and that's because i consider the European tournament a much bigger one than the South American competition. In the very early hours of today Argentina defeated Canada in their first game of the tournament and while I consider other teams in the tournament as serious contenders to win the the Copa America, I think the trophy will be won by either of Brazil or Argentina. For Brazil, they have arguably the most talented team in the tournament but their manager isn't a very experienced one while for Argentina, they also possess a very strong team which includes 8 times Balon D'or winner Lionel Messi so to me it's a trophy for any of the two teams.

I missed this game because of the time difference, the game was played past midnight and I forgot to set my alarm for it. But I have watched Argentina play in the friendlies leading to this competition and they looked even sharper than they were in the world cup that they won. There is this confidence that they play with and even without Lionel Messi, they look very dangerous because of how they play as a team. Just as England with all the talented players are still failing to impress because they do not play as a team, if Brazil do not play as a team, with all their talented players they will not get to the finals of the competition.

Argentina Football team performed very well in today match against Canada team . I think Canada team should polish them and they work on their weaknesses, otherwise they will be eliminated . Argentina team did 2 goals and in comparison, Canada team could not do a single goal. Argentina football team has been performing very well recently especially they are the champions of the 47th edition of the Copa America.

There was a time when everyone trusted Messi and Di Maria the most in the Argentina team but now their thinking has changed. The Argentina team has several young striker players such as MacAllister, Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala and several others. Their performances are worth watching and they are very promising players.

I also support Argentina team, I enjoyed the whole game today. It was a good competition between the two teams today. Canada played quite well as a weak team against a strong team like Argentina which should be appreciated by the Canadian players.

Argentina players played very well today. But Argentina's players missed a few easy goals. Argentina's best player Lionel Messi also missed two easy goals. Both teams were level till halftime. Argentina eventually won 2-0. Congratulations to Argentina for winning the first match.
