For now i couldn't imagine that the price of bitcoin can hit 1 usd each. Bitcoin today we are seeing it has a big potencial growth so if you are waiting for $1 value its impossible to see that price. maybe in the future.. if there's a big issue will happen with bitcoin.. and also if those exchange site will be the same as MT.gox or will be crash or hack in the future we will see a huge effect in the value of bitcoin but its still impossible to touch at $1.

Yes this is a way of technology and everything is possible if in future some big technology come in compare of bitcoin and take his place than may be bitcoin and other altcoin even all crypto worthless because before 2008 no one can imagine crypto exist so we can't imagine the technologies which come in future

Only if internet disappear ....

If internet disappeared, the price wouldn't drop as simply no one could sell it, so the price would be indeterminable.

As for OP's question - Yes, it is theoretically possible, but I can't imagine a scenario of btc crashing to one-digit level overnight, it'll take longer than that.

It is really possible for the impending the end of the world and there are really nothing we can do about it, and I think by that time all your bitcoins will surely be gone of existence,

I certainly agree with you because Bitcoin would not crash down ever with just a blink of an eye, it will take a lot of years and bad news popping out in a certain level that bitcoin can not handle anymore, but I think OP is also referring to the upcoming Segwit split and the BIP 148 if it occur!

Could some major shift or change happen that would bitcoin nearly worthless especially overnight?
Yes - miner orchestrated double spend to eliminate say a competing chain post a hard fork could quite easily eliminate your coins if you are on the wrong fork
A coin that does the same as bitcoin only with faster TPS, better scaling potential and a community without its head up its own backside comes along and takes over.
Bitcoin was first - well so was the Neanderthal - and you don't see many of them on the street these days. Evolve or die.

Not at all a possible thing, even if the Countries all around oppose bitcoin this will be having certain value. The reason is that bitcoin has now got such a big value from a valueless state. So once again going back never happens until something happens that bad as a cyber war.

Mahor shift, change, fork, network split, anything else that can affect bitcoin, it is still not enough to make bitcoin worthless or dump to $1 price. The first reason is because it has many users, even if it drops to that price, they wil just use that to buy more and the tendency will be a price pump. No matter how you think of it, as long as bitcoin has kany users, it will still sit at the top.

Only if Internet disappear or in case of apocalipsis zoombie with no survivals, the marketcap is too big and Bitcoin have the biggest database of the world and can coexist with other currencies. There are not reason for that.
