Yes, altcoin situation is complete which nobody didn't expect this much downtrend in altcoins, many people thought that altcoin prices will increase along with the Bitcoin recovery but that is not happening in the market. It is always good to choose the potential altcoins which have active developments.

market movements will not continue like this. the dominance of bitcoin is definitely decreasing. and now is the best time to have more altcoins. eth and bnb have a good chance to grow, I bought some.

If it is for short term then I suggest you to buy LEO and BNB. It seems that the trend is good now. But if you want to invest for long term then you should make analysis about the fundamental aspects of the company's that create the altcoin. I hope you diversify your invesment to more than 5 altcoins. So the risk can be decrease. Invest in IEO or ICO is good too.

Everyone chooses for themselves, but I wouldn't invest in XRP, because this coin is in the top just because it's used by banks around the world, and so it's not volatile

The two coins are still a favorite until now even though the price of Ethereum has not increased significantly. But Ethereum is a good Altcoin for the long term later.
