UPDATE: Delisting on Trade Satoshi

As per Trade Satoshi exchange, they will be delisting Crave on April 1, 2019: "will be delisted 1 april 3/7/2019 MOD Donnie". Installation and syncing of a new CRAVE node now takes less than 15 mins!

Monthly Development Update – February 2019

This is a CRAVE monthly update for February, 2019.

CODE
The ’PoSv3’ vulnerability fix has been applied. See https://github.com/Crave-Project/Crave-NG/pull/8 . Crave is currently looking for Developers to join the community and contribute towards the project and Communities’ goals. If you are a Dev and interested, please contact the Crave team for discussion.

USE-CASES
Contact with “HuntingTheCoins” has been made and communications re-established regarding re-implementing the ‘Crave Minecraft-Server’. You can view the previous proposal in the Crave forum ‘Proposals’ page or the Crave website here: https://crave.cc/proposals . The previous proposal on the Minecraft server was approved at a time when Crave had more liquidity and volume, so the cost for the service fee will need to be adjusted to get it re-implemented due to current market values.

MERGES/PARTNERSHIPS
There have been discussions regarding potential merges and partnerships. Two of them being a discussion on Crave becoming a Komodo asset and moving towards dPoW/PoS/MN and retaining Craves Privacy features. Another is a discussion regarding a potential merging of QMC (Quality Magnet Coin) into Crave and utilizing the qualities of both under the CRAVE brand. PoS was dead since the beginning since there was never a good paper, and it was built with the opposites of PoW - and we already have bankers ahahagh https://www.ccn.com/25-crypto-networks-vulnerable-to-fake-stake-attack-are-your-funds-at-risk/

The staking mechanism keeps hanging up when a block comes into the wallet to be staked.

Maybe devs look into it.

of course, crave wallet always like it,,, when we complain to crave dev, he are always said that is because wallet .exe is corrupted, but when I re-check it, the wallet is fine.... for solve it, you could call crave-qt.exe with additional command -reindex

Quick note, wallet crashes when staking in Ubuntu 18.04.

Wallet opens and spends fine, when a block comes in for the wallet to stake is when it crashes.

because there is an anyone ask me about bootstrap in the telegram crave forum, so I provide blockchain for Crave updated with the last blocks at 518442 (Saturday,  5^th Jan, 2019) to everyone so you can download it. my bootstrap has no virusses and 100% clean, you can check it after downloading.


 
how to use?, it's very simple  

• download and uncompress it
• move CraveNG folder from the download in %appdata% (if using windows, ex: %appdata%\<--paste-->) or $HOME folder (if using linux, ex: $HOME/<--paste-->)
• note: if you using linux don't forget to rename the folder CraveNG from CraveNG  to  .CraveNG
• run your wallet
