Yes it is a very good initiative. It is possible to introduce Bitcoin all over the world through this app. There are many who are not yet very well aware of Bitcoin. Nowadays it will be much easier to promote Bitcoin through a mobile app.

Wow! Great development mate and I love the user interface very much not because that's my favourite colour but then I love the way you have blended in the colours. I will definitely share this with friends whom I know are into the investment of bitcoin.

No offense, but I feel like having an app is unnecessary in this case. You could achieve the same goal with just having a website. Of course though, I totally understand if you actually did this also to learn to develop apps.

But anyway, best of luck!

I don't think developing an App to promote Bitcoin is unnecessary.  Having a website to promote Bitcoin do not serve the same purpose as the App. App looks more portable and easier to access than a website. Also, people will find it  easier  and faster to access information regarding Bitcoin on his App than surfing through a website. And the cost involve in creating an App to promote Bitcoin will be far cheaper than the cost involve in creating and setting up a website.....

I think a lot of people will be bored out by this app if you don't add anything interesting just as some people have said.
In my own idea, I would have created a clean game that teaches people about Bitcoin and not write an application with an article. A lot of people don't like reading too much these days lol, they will prefer something else that will allow them to engage in the activity as well.

You should check out other games and do something unique. Most of the games I see these days are not really good. If you want to create a game that teaches people about cryptocurrency, it should be a game with beautiful graphics, that way people wouldn't get bored playing and learning as well. If possible, you should add a reward, so they can earn rewards after they complete stages.

This is indeed a great work OP.
The "what is Bitcoin?" and "how do I invest in Bitcoin?" questions never get old as it is just so tiring answering the same question all over again.

With an app like this, I now have where to direct this questions and only offer assistance in the actual process.
This will help greatly in the adoption of digital currencies.

Fantastic idea, Chris! The more people understand it, the more will use it. As someone already put it out, maybe you could add something that excites people, something that makes them glued to the app, maybe something like a little game or a test at the end of each section? People could get rewards for proving their knowledge and get a sense of achievement. Just throwing in some thoughts

same as on a bible app that i read before , they put a test at the end . that is if you can still recall what you have read and you just not read without ingesting it on your mind  .

they can make it more simillar to this app , in that way people can easily familiarize btc and when btc is stuck on thier head they will got more curious and search for more stuff to learn it

I had a langauage learning app in mind but yours work a well. A crossword puzzle could be an option, or a tetris or standard puzzle like experience by needing to put things together. That´s already refering to building a blockchain. I know that´s all a lot of work, so whatever you do, the community will appreciate it, if they say it or not. You´re doing something really valuable with it!

Like I said earlier, I value every contribution (good or Bad). Also, I've been taking note of every suggestion. Majority says I should add something to make the app more interesting, and some other things like links to more information. I'll implement these and more, and once the app is finalized, I will update the thread. Thank you all.

Actually, this is a very good idea that will allow as many people as possible to learn about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But it seems to me that it is necessary to improve not only the application interface, but also add certain additional functionality to the application so that the user who downloaded this application is interested in studying all the available information in the application, and not just watching or reading something.
You can give a small example from life.
Young children better perceive information and learn mathematical equations, the alphabet and more, if their training takes place in the format of some kind of game. Thus, you can create in the application something like a game, such as Monopoly, which will not only give certain knowledge to a person about cryptocurrency, but will also cause interest, possibly even excitement, where not only cryptocurrency trading will intersect with each other, but also investments in cryptocurrency, as well as the use of cryptocurrency by various companies in different spheres of human life. So I wish you good luck.

One way to make crypto know to everyone is through online only, which makes me hope this could also available offline.

Anyway, it looks interesting and can't wait to see that available in the play store. Not really guarantee that readers could fully understand crypto just for this alone but maybe there is a lot of information inside that can answer their doubts and query. I hope it is available in different languages that locals could really understand what it serves for.

It will adds awareness and with such kind of apps people who will see and read it will get interest to learn
more deeper regarding to bitcoin and blockchain.
We need more kind of information if we care about the adoptions and more people to use and adopt this
system for their everyday transactions.
For now, everything still online and the reached of this system can only cater online based businesses
and transactions that used internet service.

For me who doesn't have even the tiniest idea on how to create an app, I am very impressed. What also amazed me is the initiative to promote bitcoin through it. This is one good way to inform people about such.

Though I don't know how to make an app, I sure know how to download one. And as a "costumer", I agree that the app should have more entertaining things to it. I don't know, but some games would do. And would this be available offline? I think that would be a good option, too. It's just not every country or place, like ours, have the access to a strong and stable internet connection. So I guess that can be considered? Besides, there are also other learning apps that are available offline. I hope this one is, too.

OP, Regardless of what anyone says, I jist wanted you to know that you did great. As a developer, starting and completing a side project are one of the hardest things to do due to the fact that there's no immediate monetary benefits that comes with it. That notwithstanding, You took on the project with the aim to provide more value and help people learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Since you posted and people have given their feedback, it's not time to improve your app  especially in these areas :

– UI & UX
– Features
– the overall application experience.

Goodluck on your application. I hope you implement the feedbacks and get listed on app stores successfully.

That's nice of you OP.  Regardless if others find it specifically useful or not, it's still great that you got the initiative to make an app regarding bitcoin. What matters is that you are willing to do this just to promote bitcoin even if there is no assurance if people would like it or not.

However, I have to agree with what others say. It's better to give it a little entertainment and use your creativity on improving the app. It would be too boring if people would just keep on reading information about crypto, so perhaps give it a little twist. I have no idea about things like this since I rarely download learning apps, still, good luck on this!

"waste their time on such things" I wouldn't say that. Not all bounties are a waste of time. Some of them are actually worth doing. That's by the way

Maybe one of the hundred is somewhat fair and something can be earned, but most do not bring any profit for the participants but only for the project owner. After all, what do bounty campaigns have to do with wanting to explain to someone what Bitcoin is and how it works? Personally, I think it's wrong for new forum users to come to the forum just to become bounty hunters, and many do just that.

Thanks a lot! I'd definitely find where to implement this link so people can actually see bitcoin as a currency it is. Thanks again.

You're welcome for link Wink

I wonder what programming language or framework you are using in developing this?

Most android apps are written in Java or Kotlin, compiled with Gradle, and use some kind of UI frontend like Flutter. So you can assume this app is some combination of these.

A little off-topic but I think more developer portals should organize their content like Google, the way they let you navigate their SDKs and tools is fantastic.

Basically native android app allows users to easily use the native feature of an android, but with new frameworks for today, users need not download the app if it is not listed in google play. Just a bit of suggestion, if OP has PWA version of this app, the web link is enough for users to easily access and view the app and also access native feature of android and Ios such as Camera.

Though, it's already a great initiative that OP started the app, I hope it grows further to help people recognize bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Hello guys! I know I've been inactive over here for a while. Well, I've been cooking something. Promoting Bitcoin has always been the primary goal. There may be secondary goals but that doesn't change what the main focus is. I wrote some codes to create an app which informs and educate people in regards to Bitcoin. In addition to that, I decided to add some info relating to bounty hunting (to make it more interesting for users). However, this doesn't change the main aim of the app (to promote Bitcoin and give a clear explanation of what it is). Most people have always seen Bitcoin as a source of making money but that isn't true. In this app, I also explained that concept of Bitcoin not being a money making scheme but a currency (means of payment) for goods and services. This app is still under development and hasn't been uploaded to play store hence, you'd be warned by play protect. But before I upload it to Google Play Store, is there something you think that needs to be added or removed? Every opinion is helpful!

NOTE: This app is still under development.
