Every single thing that you do for the promotion of bitcoin and educating others. I'll appreciate it so thank you for making one. You can keep making like this app that will give at least the basics of bitcoin and let the people understand that bitcoin is legitimate.

It would be great too if you will add the what to avoid in cryptocurrencies such as the scam investments.

No offense, but I feel like having an app is unnecessary in this case. You could achieve the same goal with just having a website. Of course though, I totally understand if you actually did this also to learn to develop apps.

Hello mk4! Try to see it from this direction.
1. A website can't be sent from one person to another
2. You need internet access to get information from websites
3. An app is pretty handy. (I do get my friends come around trying to share my apps through Xender).

BTW, in my country, this is one of the best ways to inform the youth about it. Just that I have to make it more interesting.

I guess mk4 is right. It would help if you had websites, so people can visit your site to learn more about cryptocurrency. I think that today many people can access the internet easily, even they can use their mobile phone to visit on the site. After you have a website, you can connect it to the apps, so people who read about cryptocurrency/bitcoin know that there is more lesson about bitcoin on the site. But if you want to see how people respond and not just for your friends, you can later buy the website.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the idea. Actually the app is still under development so, I intend to add more things maybe links to other sites, videos, quiz, etc. I'm glad I'm getting contributions from here.
My advice is you don't need to add Bounty in the apps because that can make people desperate if they don't get the reward, but perhaps, you can add some game or even faucet as a start to them to learn about cryptocurrency. But of course, you don't have to use bitcoin if you want to give something to them.

The scrolling for a website on a mobile phone is a pain in the ass, so that is why I think a App is more suitable.  Wink

This depends on the web design, to be honest. You can create a website where you can swap left and right with some css and javascript coding but of course, it's gonna take some time. Some people also prefer to not install anything just because they want to learn something new. Obviously it's a matter of preferences.

#mk4 I have to differ from you with this one, most people are more on their phones these days and it is easier if a App is used for this kind of education. The scrolling for a website on a mobile phone is a pain in the ass, so that is why I think a App is more suitable.  Wink

I like the fact that you are promoting Bitcoin as a currency and not as an investment option, because that is what Satoshi wanted it to be. I also like the fact that you are giving people a motivation to use this App, by giving them several option to earn bitcoins online.

People tend to be more interested in something, if they can get something out of it. (Like the marketers at shopping centers giving free samples of products to get people to listen to them.)  Wink

I have to agree with this. No offense too.

Even more people nowadays mostly use their phones, let's face it "in general", we all know they are not into installing random apps without a use-case or those apps that will not give advantages to them such as payment apps, banking apps, camera apps, social media apps and many more.

A website is way more have chances to visit by these people as part of promoting crypto.

An interesting content aside from explaining the basics of crypto is necessary if OP wants to push the app to a higher level step by step.

I admire the effort and I want to say best of luck! I will surely install this app to support you.

BTW, in my country, this is one of the best ways to inform the youth about it. Just that I have to make it more interesting.

I appreciate the effort.

Best of luck Chris!

I envy you for creating such app that will educate some phone users about bitcoin. But I have a few questions regarding the app.

Most of the phone users who will gonna download the app will find it boring to read it until the end. Are you going to add some excitement or adventure, like some games (e.g. achieving goals and then an information pop up before proceeding to the next level) or some simple tasks so there is still an excitement to read while having fun. What do you think?

Thanks! You make absolute sense and I'll think of something to make it more exciting; maybe a game IDK yet.

Its better if you add some twist on it, add some images, videos, or games for some entertainment.
I agree sometime adding twist could make it more interesting. Normally a quiz testing our brains could help readers to gain more interest on the topic.

There are some users who recently posted here some knowledge on forum in a form of quiz and questionaires, if OP could integrate some exciting quiz game through that app then it will be more cooler to use

Good job OP, how I wish many users have the talent you have on creating this app. Like what @GreatArkansas always said a bilingual phrase "Sana All" in English means to hope someday everyone will be on that situation too.

Wow! Another nice initiative coming from you, Chris!

Anyway, just a little insignificant note, if you refer to the Bitcoin creation story as starting only when the software was released or when the genesis block was mined, then Bitcoin's story indeed began in 2009. But the bigger creation story, if we include Bitcoin's whitepaper, for example, must have began in 2008. Cheesy

That is a good application, it would really be a great help for the crypto community especially for the newbies in the cryptocurrency. I am wondering how did you create that kind of application or any application, I am an IT student but still, I cannot create any kind of application yet, hoping that I will learn it someday. I am still young and there would be more knowledge that will sink into my mind.
You have created a good GUI on your application, you are so great, it would a lot.

Nice observation, not all people are willing to read the whole text on the application, its better if you add some twist on it, add some images, videos, or games for some entertainment.

I wonder what programming language or framework you are using in developing this? The idea of creating apps mainly to support or promote bitcoin is good, I have done it in some of my other works too, but I think in mobile, you can engage more people since mobile is quite more accessible to people. You might also want to create a PWA as of the moment, for people to easily test the mobile app as a browser app because there are some people that don't want to download app that isn't listed in Google play store.

Hello guys! I know I've been inactive over here for a while. Well, I've been cooking something. Promoting Bitcoin has always been the primary goal. There may be secondary goals but that doesn't change what the main focus is. I wrote some codes to create an app which informs and educate people in regards to Bitcoin. In addition to that, I decided to add some info relating to bounty hunting (to make it more interesting for users). However, this doesn't change the main aim of the app (to promote Bitcoin and give a clear explanation of what it is). Most people have always seen Bitcoin as a source of making money but that isn't true. In this app, I also explained that concept of Bitcoin not being a money making scheme but a currency (means of payment) for goods and services. This app is still under development and hasn't been uploaded to play store hence, you'd be warned by play protect. But before I upload it to Google Play Store, is there something you think that needs to be added or removed? Every opinion is helpful!
