Last time I checked their team back in 2017-18. there were 9 desi guys in their squad out of 11.
Oh, I see. I didn't notice even. Most of their names are the same from our subcontinental and we should call it Subcontinental Cricket Team  Grin
I'm kidding. The match was delayed for rain and now its started.
SR Taylor is playing brilliantly.

Who do you think will win? I go for USA :-P

Chances are they have a majority of players from the Indian subcontinent.

The rumours that Bangladesh Cricket team were about to go to that mosque to pray. Lucky them that it happened when they were on the way. I heard that Bangladesh team will go back now in the middle of the series for security.
I am not sure how much true this news is. SOmeone posted an image in facebook which doesn't seem to be fit for them, I mean their dress was looking like they were coming back from practice session. I think they should go back to Bangladesh for now.

They are doing pretty well. 86 runs for 2 wickets after 9.3 overs.

I am also not sure about the Bangladesh team however I think they needs to go back. It's to much scarcity. I do not understand how people become so sick and kill innocent people. This entire incident made me upset. RIP all those innocents. We are better than this. Honestly.

This is really a historic moment happening where USA entering the cricket and playing it. Just do not know how is the team but will still go with Dubai as they have being hosting cricket and they know more and people play cricket their as well more than USA. But things could turn otherwise in this match.

I used to play a lot of cricket too when I was young. Second favorite sport is soccer though.
I tried football once but twisted my foot then I ended with this conclusion that football is too big to kick :-P

Seriously, I don't understand how do these players get all these stamina to kick the ball for entire 90 minutes :-)

By the way, breaking news: https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2019/mar/15/christchurch-shooting-injuries-reported-as-police-respond-to-critical-incident-live

Quote
49 people were killed in the attack, including 41 at Deans Avenue mosque and seven at Linwood mosque. Another victim died in hospital.

A man in his late 20s has been charged with murder and will appear in Christchurch court tomorrow.

Two others arrested at the scene with guns are being investigated. A fourth person arrested may have had nothing to do with the attack.

Several guns have been recovered from both mosques. Two explosive devices were found on two vehicles at the scene. One has been disabled.

The suspects were unknown to the police.

The police remain vigilant but are not looking for anyone else in connection with the attacks.

Thank you Royse, for the love.
You are welcome. Always happy to support this small cricket community. There are not many people around to look after us. To me, cricket is one of the sport which I understand and enjoy most. I also used to play a lot of cricket when I was young. Cricket and school, this was life. My second is Tennis. I do not watch much football.
Its great to see such a dedicated Cricket community in this forum. Honestly, I have a lot of fun conversing with you guys regarding anything related to Cricket.

Forget what Allan Border has said about there is no room for Smith and Warner. There is room for Warner at the top as Finch hasn't performed well in ODI matches for the past few series and Smith like I said can replace Stoinis as he hasn't been in all that good form lately so I don't understand how Border can say this lol. To be honest I still think that a lot of ex Australia players are upset with Smith and Warner and that is why they make these comments but I can say that there is room for them as they are top class players and we only make the Australian team stronger if they get back into some form.

Hey there’s a popular saying maybe Border hasn’t heard it, you don’t leave your best stallions in the stables you put them out on the track. I have said it before Warner and Smith shall only make Australia stronger, and they have good experience which is needed to win the World Cup. Also it’s pertinent to note that both Warner and Smith have been called to Dubai to gel in with the team, I feel it’s a way for them to apologise and then be included in the playing 11.

As like Raza said, those are really illiterate and don't know what sport is.
Completely agree with you and Raja. I owe you merit @Pffrt
Sent him two for you. It's great to see that sports speak over everything. Keep up the good works. I am busy watching the PSL and today my team is Islamabad United. I hope they win.
For me, sports is nothing but entertaining a little bit in our busy life. I remember the first match of India watched by me. It was in 2003 maybe, can't remember the year exactly. Ganguly Dada and the master blaster Sachin was playing charming and I was like wow, such genious players and I became a fan of them as well as the Indian team. If I am correct, from that day, I never missed a single match of India till 2011 world cup. Later, for a while, it seems Indian team was affected by politics hugely for a while and I thought it's time to give a rest. I can't take how Sehwag, Sachin, Ganguly have gone rest. Indian team owe a lot to them but they didn't get the honor. None of their rest was a perfect one. And it should not be continued on cricket.

Thank you Royse, for the love.

The current Australian team is obviously weaker when compared to previous generations, but they are starting to prove us all wrong with their recent performances against India etc.
True and I expect this Australian team may be once again dominate the cricket world. They are missing Warner and Smith. Imagine, how much capable they will be onev they get back to the team.
I agree. Everyone agrees that both Smith and Warner are deadly players and have led teams (domestic and interational) to victory thanks to their batting and leadership skills.

They must be hungry to prove themselves once again after the big controversy which is why I am excited to watch them perform in the IPL.
IPL is a such incredible stage where they should prove themselves to guarantee the entry ticket in Australia’s XI since quite a while they're out after the big controversy!

Allan Border says, There may no longer be room left in Australia’s ODI XI for Steve Smith and David Warner after the team claimed its “best ever” series win in the format.

Smith and Warner making comeback in IPL? sorry for the ignorance but didn't follow IPL auction or any news this year.

If they are coming back then its great news.

Allan Border is a legend but I am sure if those 2 comebacks in the team with their performance, Oz wouldn't mind cutting some dead weight.

@Raja_MBZ You may have tripped a snowflake there. @JSRAW all the trolling is just retaliation, stop visiting EspnCricInfo Wink But I have to say that Cap change did wonders for the Aussies Cheesy

No one tripping anyone here bro, it was just friendly word of exchange between @Raja and me, or call it banter.

You used the word "Retaliation". which is a very bad choice of word in this context IMHO.

Someone paying respect to their soldiers who died in Deadly Terrorist Attacks and people making fun of it, Good!!!

But don't worry if something happens like this on another side of the border. We will not celebrate or make fun of that, we will grief with them shoulder to shoulder.

Its double edge sword for those who cry out loud "We are the biggest victim of terrorism"

3. That's the case! At least partially. Grin

If that's the case then all good bro but you are in the minority

And hate to say but we both know very well that it's not true and 99% don't think like that.

Pakistan still is lacking those 300+ targets and I didn't see a player except Babar Azam in the PSL who could bat out the middle innings with a 100+ strike rate.
Agreed. On the other hand, you must have to agree that it is not so easy to score 300 against Pakistan. Pakistan have some good bowlers. Anyway, still Australia will dominate the series for sure. Pakistan is so poor at batting.

As for the upcoming series between Pakistan and Australia, I expect Australia to win the series quite comfortably. Pakistan still is lacking those 300+ targets and I didn't see a player except Babar Azam in the PSL who could bat out the middle innings with a 100+ strike rate.
