Australia has come good just at the right time with the World Cup coming up. No one was really talking about Australia in the upcoming World Cup but I guess that will all change now as Smith and Warner can come back into the team which will make it even stronger. If Warner and Smith do come back I can already see that Finch would be one of the players to be dropped and the other could be Stoinis for Smith as Khawaja and Handscomb have performed well in this series and deserve to keep their spots in the team. Now Australia play Pakistan in a 5 ODI series so I'll be interested to see if Australia will make some changes to the team or if Warner and Smith come back in. Australia have turned it around on India on their home soil like India did to Australia on their home soil.
They will always be the team to beat no matter what since they have basically won the world cup a record number of times when compared to other teams.

The current Australian team is obviously weaker when compared to previous generations, but they are starting to prove us all wrong with their recent performances against India etc.

1.   Is it because he's born in Pakistan? and choose to play for Australia instead of Pakistan. shame because Pakistan can use some quality batsman.

It is shame for the Pakistan cricket board for failed to pick an amazing cricketer for their homeland and it is one of the country where Politics influence much than skills so he won't go back to Pakistan again.

I hope what you are saying is right and India management is experimenting. If this is true then they already should know who are doing what. IPL is coming in 9 days and from there they may also find some player that can give them a thought to add in the squad although I doubt there will be any new extra ordinary face.

Current BCCI official and selection committee is one of the weakest and Clueless in comparison to the previous officials.

They are still in confusion, recently Indian Team Chief Selector M.S.K Prasad gave interview and said that they will look into IPL performance too.

And Virat Kohli said in one press conference that No we will not consider IPL performance.

I agree that there will be no new face in World cup squad unless some batsman end up with extraordinary performance in IPL.

In my point of view, Indian selectors will look out for existing back-up players {present (IPL)performance-form too}, to name a few Rishab Pant, Dinesh Kartik, Raydu, Vijay Shankar or in some extent KL Rahul.

I think now they lost faith on Pant after watching his performance from this series,I really upset with his performance today because he simply threw his wicket to slip. But I think he will be much effective if he came at 6 to bat.DK can be the best one for his place now because he has experience and good skills on wicket keeping than pant.

OZ would be feeling great after winning the series in India as for the world cup they will have Warner and Smith back in their side which will boost their confidence again. So OZ are all set for the world cup and India would be little disappointed of not winning inspite of playing well and restricting OZ to 272.

An awesome display of performance by Usman Khawaja yet again against India in New Delhi today, he deserved to get the man-of-the-match as well as the man-of-the-series award; he literally changed the direction of the series. India probably learned the lesson that unnecessary change of caps in-between the series is not a very good idea. Lips sealed

Australian team doesn't seem very bad anymore (beating India "in" India is definitely a big deal). The upcoming series between Australia and Pakistan will surely be very interesting to watch!
True he deserved it and if Warner and Smith gets back to the team , once again Aussies will be the team to beat.
Although I agree with you with the former part , I don't think the latter part was necessary.

2.   Is it because he is Muslim? ( like Rashid Latif's religious rant during Champions trophy? )

3.   Maybe Pakistani just admiring a cricketer who played brilliantly against India. but I doubt that that's a case lol
The very inly reason for which Pakistani are admiring Osman Khawaja is he played brilliantly against team India. It's nothing new and there is nothing about being Muslim. I am a muslim too and I appreciate his performance but I can't say I loved it because I support team India after my native. Some of the illiterate people are making troll on social media even with the match when Indian team showed respect to their armies. As like Raza said, those are really illiterate and don't know what sport is.

Okay, let's start banter now Cheesy

The way all Pakistani cricket lover thumbing their chest in social media for Usman Khawaja is a good case of study Cheesy but I am just wondering why?

1.   Is it because he's born in Pakistan? and choose to play for Australia instead of Pakistan. shame because Pakistan can use some quality batsman.

2.   Is it because he is Muslim? ( like Rashid Latif's religious rant during Champions trophy? )

IMHO PCB should select Khwaja as a Pakistani opener in the upcoming world cup. I am sure Khawaja waiting for a call from fatherland very desperately Cheesy

That's another thing that if he had stayed in Pakistan, he wouldn't be able to survive due to politics in Pakistan cricket. guess that's a reason he opted out for

Australia under 19 in the first place and not Pakistan under 19.

I am questioning seriousness because India announced the 2 different teams for first 2 One day and different for last 3 ODI.

Usually, Every Team never change their winning squad ever, but Indian did it anyway for experiment-checking backup players.

After the first two ODI everyone was thinking Australia will lose the series. Some were thinking about a whitewash but finally we witnessed another Australian domination even though they did not have their best team.

What was wrong with today's Indian squad?

There was nothing wrong with the current squad because all are the more or less same players who are in the race of making in the World cup squad and Oz played good cricket than Indian side. it's not Aussie's fault that Indian middle order not performing. India played with their best bowling attack here, except Chahal.

I somehow believe that India was not very serious too. They are only focusing on the World cup that's why they keep changing middle order like clothes.

OZ proved that they were the better side in the last 3 ODI. and they deserve all praise by winning this series against India and more importantly in India.

After losing 6 consecutive ODI series since 2017-18

On the row wicket now. After Bhuvenswar now Kedar gave a catch to Maxwell. This seems fixing match in my view. Aussies gonna win this match and pat cummins made the high wicket taker in series on indian land. Worst play india go and watch match since all done now.

Fixing match? please don't use that word.

by using this term you are disrespecting and debunking that OZ clearly outplayed the Indian team.

You are an unlucky man for India. But I think India can recover. The pitch is looking good. Balls are coming in to the bat. So it should not be a problem for India to win.

By the way, the odd increased and I am thinking to put some money for them :-p
I am not sure what happened with team India we saw on tours and on home ground, i guess this is the first team to struggle at home and out perform in foreign soil  Cheesy, there is no hope for India to win this match from this situation as they have already lost 6 wickets for 138 runs and with Kedar Jadhav the only recognized batsmen, it is an impossible task. They were experimenting too much with the team before the world cup and the results are evident in this series.

I agree that the Indian team was doing lots of experiment and its bad that they are about to lose series at home. ( still, have 10% chance Cheesy)

But I consider this as a wake-up call For Indian Team before going to England for Upcoming world cup.

Sometimes teams get over-confidence  winning the series after series so this loss can be a blessing in disguise IMHO

Without a recognized batsman it is really hard to win this match from this stage.

Kedar is still there so still, India have a 10% chance. the match is not finished, now I said that match is going to finish soon lol because I am unlucky for India?  Grin

The last hope for India has gone to the pavilion. This is really bad cricket from India on their home ground winning the first two ODIs and losing the consecutive three ODIs to Australia. In today's match Indian batting is really bad, while Australia showed the best from their side in batting, fielding and bowling.

But The match is not finished yet and Jadav still in Crease.

90% chance OZ winning and 10% for India.

They still need another 126 runs with 4 wickets and 17.5 overs remaining. If this was something like 50 runs from 40 balls and 4 wickets in hand then there would be a chance. But now we are waiting for Australia to wrap up the series.

I was also feeling today Rohit going to lead India but now Zampa on target and India going to lost this series as they have no one who can lead them for win in this match and series.

India officially out of the match now and potentially losing the series. all recognized batsmen sitting in the dugout and must be looking at their dismissal.

India lost 6 wickets at 132 after 29 overs. It is really a worst situation. I didn't expect it anyhow. I thought there will be an interesting match.
