The Australia/Sri Lanka match could be all over today as Sri Lanka have already lost 5 wickets for just 74 runs and still trail by 105 runs. Pat Cummins has been the man for Australia taking 4 wickets so far. Its looking like Australia will win by an innings and runs unless Sri Lank can turn it around and make Australia bat again.
Just noticed it. I did not expect such a low performance from Srilanka.
India played great although I expect the score as 350. Where is the Dhoni hater by the way? He played beautifully. Hope India will win.
One more ball and he would have completed his 4 consecutive half-century . Believe me if he comes at 1st down , he is still capable of scoring centuries but well its too late now for that , I am just happy he is coming at 3rd down . Also kudos to Kuldeep for great bowling , we should mention Bracewell as he played a good knock and never gave up.

India is about to win the second match of this 5 ODI series. they just need 1 wicket, another failure for  Blackcaps's top 3 batsmen and including their middle order. was hoping for captains inning from Kane Williamson, unfortunately, he failed.

It was an overall all-round performance from Team India, everyone contributed and played their part well.

2 mins silence for SriLankan Team.

I agree with your opinion. Nothing surprising about any of this though. Srilanka have been playing horribly for a long time now and their performance continues to drop as time passes which is a really bad sign for them.

They were destroyed by a wounded Australia which goes to show their poor form. I feel that they need to radically change their lineup if they wish for positive changes in the future since the current lineup does not paint a good picture for them.

Still plenty of good aggressive batsmen remain in the line up for Indians , I don't see how they can't score above 330 unless NZ come up with brilliant bowling in the last 10 overs . 14 overs to go and Kohli is set now , anybody thinks he will score century today ? I have a feeling that he will .
I also said that 350 is achievable and seems easier now. Century for Virat is quite hard from this situation although Virat is always an aggressive player. I think he will get closer to century but will not be able due to the limitation of overs. Both of them are playing well, Rayudu seems to play better aggressive than Virat today.

Sometimes just saving the team from terrible score is better than winning or ending up as draw  . So I just say , they should go out there and give their best without worrying about the result . Well its sports , you never know what will happen.
Agreed with you. The condition was worst but now it's better than previous although they merely have the chance of winning.
India started a very good opeing partnership. Sorry for Rohit Sharma, he could not made the century. It's 87 from 96 balls. Well played dear. India seems to get a good score. 173 for 2 after 30 overs. 350 can be achieved. Virat and Rayudu is on pitch.

We must give Sri Lanka some credit as they have fought back well as Australia looked set to gain at least a 200+ run lead but Sri Lanka were able to get wickets in quick time and restrict Australia under 200 run lead. However the lead Australia do have might just be enough as Sri Lanka are already a wicket down and still trail by 162 runs. They will need to bat well in the first two sessions as the third session is the hardest to bat in as its at night and that is when the pink ball seems to play tricks on the batsman.
Nothing can save Srilanka from losing the match, I guess. It's 2nd day stumped and still Srilanka is tralied by 162 runs. They need to bat 2 more days if they want to make a draw, I doubt they will be able to bat 2 more days. Otherwise, I do not see a good thing for Srilanka.

English team is in big trouble. Wicketless first session for them and lead is already 449 runs. Dowrich and holder batting on 61 and 80 respectively. Both are playing well. England surely missing Stuart broad here.
Do you still have hopes for the English in this match? I am waiting for the West Indies team to declare the innings. English will lose by huge difference. I can not believe how they all gone for only 77 runs!

RIP English team. Where is the English media?

After the 2nd day stump, Srilanka is trail by 162 runs with 9 wickets remaining in their 2nd innings. It's too early. Srilanka is going to lose the match with a bigger difference. It maybe an innings. I do not think they will lead by 100 at maximum tomorrow. Ausies gonna celebrate.

Hmmm.... Do you still think that WI is not unpredictable? Grin
Damn WI LOL
They bowled out England for only 77 runs? West Indies is leading lead by 339 runs with 4 wickets remaining which means England is going to lose the match for sure.

Yes, WI are unpredictable LOL

Here in Brisbane Australia is in the driving seat. Good luck Aussies.

Still Australia can't find an opening batsman to replace Warner, Joe Burns was brought into the team as he has been doing okay at domestic level but he fail to score any runs going out for just 15 runs. I'm sure that once the ban is over for Warner that he just comes straight back into the team even though there does seem to be some tension between him and Smith. Australia should take a lead in this test match and if they can bat well, they might only need to bat again as a lead of say 250+ will be very hard to chase down by Sri Lanka on this pitch and playing with the pink ball. I see why India didn't want to play a day night test match lol They know how difficult it is to play a day night test match in Australia no matter which team it is.

Hey I’ll second that Warner and Smith should return immediately, though Smith is injured I wished they both return soon to save Australia from the mess they’re in. I believe this match is already out of Srilanka hands, and not even for one second I doubted Australia, as I know Srilanka team is super weak. The test match vs West Indies and England, stunned me as England was all out for 77 runs, and now West Indies have a huge lead.

I'm sure that Warner and Smith will be back once their bans are up, Australia have the Ashes coming up and right now Australia's batting is poor. Warner will no doubt open and Smith could become the number 3 as Khawaja hasn't been all that good at number 3.

Australia are in a strong position right now and if they bat well and get at least another 150+ runs they might only need to bat once as they already lead by 113 with 5 wickets in hand. Head is looking good right now and could be the first Australian to score a century this summer as no Australian scored a century in the Indian test series.

I have wondered what England have done. I did not follow the match at all. Although West Indies in trouble in the second innings, they are likely to win the match because it is the 2nd day stump and windies already leading by 339 runs.
