New Zealand had started a good but at the end they only scored 243, it's sad. India needs 139 runs from 28 overs with 9 wickets remaining. It will easy for India to win. Shikhar Dhawan got out and now Virat and Sharma is on the field. I do not think they will lose more than 1 wicket.
3rd ODI have started between NZ and India and NZ won the toss and batting first. They are 231 for 7 in 47.2 overs. Tylor missed the century by 7 runs and was playing well. NZ would not like to get white wash with the loss of this match.

Shoaib Malik did good as a acting captain. if Pakistan wins this series under his captaincy then may be PCB can think of him leading the pak team in the world cup.
I don't really mind Shoaib leading the team, after all, he's the most senior player in the team and more importantly very calm person during the pressure. having said that I still believe that Sarfaraz should lead the team in the World. Sarfaraz must talk with former players such as Wasim, Ramiz, Javed etc and ask for guidance.
It is funny. I have seen the golden age of West Indies, I have seen the English team to struggle to get the highest trophy, the domination of Australian team. Sri Lanka to win world cup 1996. I have seen Pakistan to win the 1992 where no one expected it.

Indeed, that's why I am very careful about Indian team's form for World cup. one bad patch can create tons of problems for our team. every team looks good and balanced when they are winning the match.
I started following cricket since early 2000 under Dada's captaincy, but I do have blur memory of India losing against Srilanka in World Cup Semis.

It looks like Shoaib Malik is a better captain than Sarfaraz and he has more tactical experience than Sarfaraz and if he could lead the team for the up coming world cup i think they could perform better as a team as they are playing really well with a fairly new players outside the continent. This week was full of surprises, first from West Indies and now Pakistan playing well even though they are unpredictable.
Today we have NZ and India and India is dominating NZ in their home turf and it looks like Hardik Pandya will be back in the team and it is the best time to experiment with players to find the best combination leading to the world cup.
Agreed. Shoaib Malik is more experienced too. New Zealand top order didn't play good but seems middle order has played nicely today. I think they are going to build a good score. Taylor and Latham is having 102 runs partnership now. I expect a 300+ score here since both of them are set.

All top three batsman for Pakistan performed well. The pitch was not that bad but not sure how SA could not manage to get some runs.

Well played and good come back by Pakistan. Bowlers specially Usman Khan and Afridi really bowled pretty well. I have to appreciate them. Also batsman did well job. Pakistan is really unpredictable. I thought SA will lead in ODI too but Pakistan came back with proper power. legendary

None of the test series I am enjoying. Srilanka vs Australia - Easy win for Ausie. West Indies vs England- Easy win for WI. England lost by 381 runs, a big difference. They was not able to bat long time only with the man Rory Burns. I feel sorry for him. He deserve a century.

In Johannesburg Pakistan bowled out SA only for 164 runs LOL The most unpredictable team in the history. They should win however I would not wonder if they lost, I mean Pakistan hehe

Bad luck to Srilanka. They have lost by one inning and 40 runs. I did not expect such bad poor performance from Srilanka. This is the same what have done Australia against India. Hope they will over come theie problem and we will see a good match.
Srilanka along with few other teams are not good for the tests match. Mainly the teams are focusing on T20 and one days which requires a lot of rush batting. When it comes to tests matches, this is really time to test the batting ability and only the ones who have good technical skills can survive the tests match.

Indian team would be really happy to see inspite Kohli absence team is able to manage win comfortable and this would give them confidence that they are not depended on one person and they are prerparing for the World Cup too with this matches .

Agreed , no patience and fighting mentality in any teams nowadays . Just go for it or just leave it attitude , certainly not gonna help Test Cricket .

The Australia/Sri Lanka match could be all over today as Sri Lanka have already lost 5 wickets for just 74 runs and still trail by 105 runs. Pat Cummins has been the man for Australia taking 4 wickets so far. Its looking like Australia will win by an innings and runs unless Sri Lank can turn it around and make Australia bat again.
I agree with your opinion. Nothing surprising about any of this though. Srilanka have been playing horribly for a long time now and their performance continues to drop as time passes which is a really bad sign for them.They were destroyed by a wounded Australia which goes to show their poor form. I feel that they need to radically change their lineup if they wish for positive changes in the future since the current lineup does not paint a good picture for them.
Well I wasn't surprised by this result either as Australia have a very good record playing in Brisbane, they have not lost a test match there in 30 test matches so that would be 30 years as they play one test match there every year. The Brisbane pitch is very hard for touring teams to adapt to and I also believe that India would of struggled on this pitch. This win will lighten the mood for Australia after a poor series against India, I expect Australia to win the series 2-0 as Sri Lanka have no answer to the fast bowling of Australia.

New Zealand cricket team have been trying hard to make a win on the home ground. India played well with each and every player making good contribution to the match. The next match too is scheduled to take place in the same ground. Maybe the next match will be a hard fight between India and New Zealand as New Zealand is under pressure to win so that they get a chance to win the league.

It is not about bad luck it is bad performance and they need to find good players to play abroad if they want to replicate their performance outside their home soil, 
India did play really well to win the series in Australia and seeing this match we could tell that they are beating every team outside the continent. In the second ODI too India showcased their dominance once again and won by a big margin and if they could continue this form they have a solid chance to lift the world cup this year. Jump to:
