Simply toss decided the match in my opinion.In 5 day matches toss plays a big roles since the pitch getting more spin day by day that is why Nathon Lyon made the Indian batsmen to shattered on the fourth day.

I agree with it as i have seen if you check the previous matches then you can easily find that Toss decides the match. Spinners always give troubles to batsman that is why it is always good to include spinners. Lime Australia got Lyon due to him they got won the 2nd test and more over if India would have won 2nd test then the 3rd test would have become dead match, so now it is interesting to see 3rd test who wins and lead the TEst Series.

SL vs NZ test match is also getting excitred as NZ made 578 runs in their first innings and SL got all out at 282 and batting at 259/3. SL still trail by 37 runs an 7 wickets in hand. If SL can give 200 runs target still batting fourth might be just not hat easy but still game might go to NZ.

Australian bowlers were also quite good, might be a spinner could change the current position. Also, the opening of Indian teams second innings was just a shit show. I think you are right, they will be dropped and actually, they should be dropped and I agree including Pandya and for sure including a spinner.
But truly, hats off to the bowling of Australian team, quite remarkable performance.

I think this guy got over confident and thought India would easily win lol, lets be honest India were very lucky to have won the first test match and there wasn't much between the teams but I think some people were getting a little over confident with India. Australia now just need 5 wickets to win this test match and square up the series 1-1, it will be tough for India to hold on for a draw on this pitch as if they do hold on in the morning session the new ball will mostly do the damage once it is taken tomorrow.

From here only OZ winning the game and leveling the series to 1-1- seems to be possible. As probably in first session tomorrow itself India might be all out and match would be over. Unless some unexpected forecast changes etc could only now save the game rest nothing much left in this game.

As expected the match ended in OZ winning easily by margin of 146 runs which is a god comeback after losing the first test. So finally we have 1-1. For India they will now have to make some changes in batting as top batsman are not in form and Hardik and Mayank can be part of 3rd test match now.

Yes these two can bat on and try and get India close to the target but once the new ball is taken by Australia, I think it will be game over. The new ball has been tough to play on this pitch since day one with it moving around and swinging so it will be tough for the Indian batsman. Lyon is also getting the ball to play tricks so he may play a role early in the first session later today. If Australia do get the win I think its good for cricket here in Australia as like I mentioned in this thread many times, the crowd numbers will be most likely low and so far they have been as two of their key players are out due to suspension and both Smith and Warner are popular players here in Australia. So a win for Australia will hopefully get people coming to the cricket for the big Boxing day test match which is the biggest test match of the Australia summer of cricket.

I think this guy got over confident and thought India would easily win lol, lets be honest India were very lucky to have won the first test match and there wasn't much between the teams but I think some people were getting a little over confident with India. Australia now just need 5 wickets to win this test match and square up the series 1-1, it will be tough for India to hold on for a draw on this pitch as if they do hold on in the morning session the new ball will mostly do the damage once it is taken tomorrow.

It has changed very quickly for Australia as they have lost 4 quick wickets after the lunch break and only lead by 245 runs with 2 wickets remaining which are the bowlers. I said anything over 250 would be tough to chase down on this pitch which is starting to play tricks again. The morning session Australia were cruising along and it looked like they would get a lead of 300+ but Shami put a stop to it getting Paine and Khawaja out. It looks as though Strac and Lyon are just trying to survive and eat up as much time as they can.

Match has almost moved away from India and now only two things seems to be possible OZ to win or if India is able to strain on the last day in batting than maximum the can draw the match as Oz are 233 ahead and still 6 wickets left. Batting last day will be difficult as well .

Australia were able to hold on without losing another wicket so now the morning session will be the one that determines the test match in my opinion. If India can get early wickets and restrict Australia's lead to around 220 then it could go their way but if Australia can pile on the runs and get a 250+ run lead then the match will be in Australia's favour. A lot is riding on this morning session to see where this match is heading, I'm hoping Australia can get the win and square up the series heading into the Boxing day test match which is always huge.
