India are bowling well right now and are making it very hard for Australia to get runs on the board. The current Australian lead is just 165 runs with 4 wickets down and it could very well be 5 wickets down as Finch has retired hurt and might not be able to come back and bat. These last few overs are going to be vital for Australia as they don't want to lose any more wickets before the end of play. I think anything over 250 will be tough to chase on this pitch as Lyon was getting the pitch to play some tricks on the Indian batsman and he could be the match winner for Australia while Kohli will be the key man for India. Its going to be a close finish in this test match.

Even Australian bowlers are doing well, and unless Indian batsman keeps their wickets on hold or steady, all the bowling performance might go in vain. The final score can be easily more than 250 and might get near to 300. Tomorrow it will partially give some light on our predictions and then we can make some good decision to bet on the final day, maybe.

Indian team bawled out with in 283 runs. Oz took healthy 43 runs lead. Now chances of winning this test match 70%-30% in favour of Australia. Indian record is very bad when chasing scoreboard this year.

It was an interesting first session with India looking good and taking control of the game but Australia have fought back strong to take 2 quick wickets just before lunch and one of them wickets was Kohli for 123 which was a 50/50 catch which went Australia's way. India still trail by 74 runs, Australia will be hoping to knock over the tail order quickly and try and take a first innings lead which will go a long way to winning the test match and squaring up the series.

I think it will be an interesting first session on day 3 of the test match between Australia and India as Kohli and Rahane look to have the game in control late yesterday however started out again can be tough on this pitch as Australia found out in the morning session yesterday and also its just another 11 overs to go before the new ball is due which could be tough batting. The match is evenly poised right now and any team can still win.

We shouldn't be very surprised if Kohli makes a 100 or 150 from here. his conversion rates are very good. Both Captain and vice-captain Rahane looking very strong. if tomorrow India go with the one wicketless session. then its bad news for Australian bowlers.
Today Kohli Rahane and Pujara done very good job for India now its time for both on crease to do some good and hard work for first ever series win in Australia because now these both can manage some good score on board and its time for them to punish Aussies I am very happy with Rahane as now he is really doing hard work for team and own confidence lets see what happen in tomorrow first session who will go through.

Pujara got another class. he always frustate opposition, his fans and non striker as well lol. I want to see Kohli- Starc contest in first session.

Kohli is now the key to India getting close to Australia's score or even getting a lead in this match. If he can continue to bat well and get a century then it will go a long way to helping India reach Australia's first innings score. The pitch doesn't seem to be doing as much as it was this time yesterday but it is still tough to bat on. These final few overs will be interesting to see if Australia can get a late wicket or if India can hold on and not lose a wicket.

Australia have been bowled out for 326 runs which I think is a very good score on this pitch which will get a lot harder to bat on as the test goes on. India has already lost 1 wicket just before the lunch break for 6 runs. Strac is was really firing up and could be the match winner for Australia, if he bowls well along with the other two fast bowlers then Australia could bowl India out cheaply. Right now Australia is in complete control of the match, the next two sessions will be vital for India to try and survive on this pitch.

This is the time Indian batsmen should step up and take responsibility. If Indians lose couple or more wicket in this session, then the picture does not look good for India in this test match. Pitch and ball are flirting with batsmen. Just hoping to see Pujara and Kohli go strong in this inning.

Despite Undia rattling Oz for 326 , India started badly and lost 2 quick wickets and are now 39/2. They would have wanted a good start so that they could get some lead in first innings . Now India’s middle batsman will need to prove that they could make the change in this tour and get a good score so that India takes a lead

India are fighting back strongly in this test match however I think Australia is in a strong position on 255/6 as this pitch is very tough to bat on and as the pitch starts to dry out it will be even tougher to bat on. If Australia can get around 300+ runs then it will set them up nicely for the win as Australia's pace attack is a lot stronger then India.
You still believe Australia got better pace attack than India ? Just check how Australia suffered in the first test match of this series. As of now, Australia may score up to 350 runs in their first innings whereas I am expecting India to bat for second and third day and may score 600+ runs and then it would be easier for them to bowl out Australia with less than 200 runs to win this match by innings. All these depend on how India opener will start after Australia finish up their first innings.

Yes I do believe Australia's pace attack is better then India's, just remember Australia are missing two of their best batsman in Smith and Warner and I would say that if these two were playing in Adelaide that Australia would of won the test match. The Indian pace attack looks good because the Australian batting line up isn't as strong as previous and they almost pulled off the win so that is why I still think the Australian pace attack is much better. 600+ runs for India will be tough to achieve on this pitch my friend as its already playing tricks on the batsman and will most likely get harder to bat on. If Australia can get to 400 then they have a big chance at winning this match as a former Australian captain said if a team scores 400 or more in the 1st innings of a test match they most likely go onto winning the match more times then not.

Now India need to wrap up the tail. just hope they can limit lower order with in 50 runs. otherwise its going to be tight test match, considering shaky indian batting line up.
Indian opener should should step up otherwise it can be last test match for some of them especially KL Rahul.

As states Toss is crucial and Australia won the toss and took batting, Till first wicket Australia played well after that they started to give wickets, 1st day ending Australia 277/6 if Australia make above 350 score then it will be tough fighting. India mostly lost in chasing so this game is mostly favourable to Australia.

Bangladesh won the toss and took bowling as they know they are good chasing and same they won the odi series with 2-1. Congrats. Same on this odi also leaving SD Hope no one played well in West Indies.

Oz decision to bat first after winning the toss is proving right as they are 140 runs with just 1 wicket . This game seems to be going away from the India in day first itself if Oz can make anything above 450 they will be in commanding position of the match .

After a 100 run opening partnership by the Australian openers India finally get Finch LBW which has now sparked India up and Australia are now on the back foot. The ball is zipping around and starting to swing for the India pace attack so it will be interesting to see if Australia can get through this tricky period. If they can withstand Bumrah for another couple of overs it may get easier for the Australian batsman.

India will be down with 2 good players in the second test match as Rohit and Ashwin are injured. This will impact India's batting and bowling line up. Though Shaw will be back in the second test which is a good thing but somehow India team might feel the 2 players absence.

I feel team India will be super confident after beating Australia in the first test, I don't think they'll miss Rohit as he was going to be dropped anyway for his poor performances. I feel they'll miss Ashwin as he had got the match in their favor, by his experienced bowling it'll be interesting to see who replaces him. There's rumors of four pace bowlers coming to the Indian side, as the conditions of the Perth pitch is ripe for fast bowlers to execute their plans.
I don't think India going to miss any one from these both players because Perth is never been good for spinners as its pacers heaven so they are going with four pacers and ad they are positive and confident they can go through for this test for win now Australian sides moral is down and they will try their best for leveling series but Indian's can handle them.

2nd test is played in New Ground so their is no record, Toss is crucial as Pitch is greeny with lot of grass, which should help bowlers so who ever wins the toss and take bowling, going with them as early wickets will push the team odd down.
