Today's one-day match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. This is a tri-nation series and another team is SL. Zimbabwe already won one match against SL and it was surprising to me because even though SL team is currently weak but didn't expect they will lose against Zimbabwe as well. But Bangladesh is quite a strong team so today's match may be an easy win and they are playing at home ground is an added advantage to Bangladesh team.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. In first ten overs, they scored 50 runs and lost only one wicket. I consider it is a very good start by Bangladesh because if they keep more wickets in hand then they can hit more runs towards the end of the match. Zimbabwe bowlers also did a good job so far not allowing Bangla batsman to hit big shots. Bangla is still a favourite team to win this match. I expect around 300 runs from Bangla batsman in this match.
Bangladesh is on a good position now as they have scored 71/1 from 14 overs.Two most experience batsman of Bangladesh Sakib and Tamim are on the crease.I think BD will score more than 300 today.Because their batsman are very much in form.And they want to secure their position on the finale today.
OTOH,Zimbabwe will try their best to keep them alive on series.They have lost they earlier match against SL.So this match is very important for Zimbabwe.
Bangla scored 152 runs and lost 3 wickets. 15 overs remaining and 7 wickets in hand Tamim Iqbal looking very strong. I think he can make a century in this match. I don't think they can make 300 runs, but for them, 280+ runs target is good enough to win this match.
It was an unexpected performance from Zimbabwe bowlers because I thought Bangladesh batsman are good to play on their home grounds pitches but Zimbabwe bowlers put a break to that and restricted them just for 210 runs and last three balls and last wicket. Only because of two batsman Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan Bangladesh reached 200 runs. Zimbabwe batsman shouldn't hurry to chase this small total but should play slowly and responsibly to win this match.
Zimbabwe bowled well and manage to restrict Bangladesh 216 runs but bad luck the batsman not supported well. Zimbabwe got all out for just 125 runs. Bangladesh won by 91 runs. I think compare to SL and ZIW this series Bangladesh will win.
In Zimbabwe team their is no good players who can ensure that their team can win some matches against the team like Bangladesh. It is sad that inspite of getting Bangladesh team all out in 216 they could not even manger to reach anywhere near to that total and lost by 91 runs which is a big difference considering just 216 score to chase.
