Everything has a risk. Even candies has a bad side, it can give you diabetes! I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin can be used to do evil things like criminality. It's money afterall. I don't know how we can solve problems like that but we people can help by not following bad peoples footsteps.
We can't restricts them to what at whom they need to utilize it. What makes a difference most is we expect that everybody is utilizing bitcoin for good and not for terrible. Yes, I agree with you. I also do not agree if Bitcoin is said to increase the numbers of criminality. Since before the existence of the Bitcoin, level of criminality is already very high. criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example, the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days has been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

There are criminality everywhere but bitcoin used in criminality is really a fact. Some illegal activities are using bitcoin as a payment and way of transactions because bitcoin's transactions are untracable and users remain anonymous which is perfect of illegal activities.
Already, there is an accusation against bitcoin that its widely used for illegal activities. Now, adding fuel to the fire, some critics say that cyber crimes are being unded with bitcoins and bitcoins have become the first choice of cyber criminals for payment.
