I do not think so. Criminals will exist anywhere. Where there is money, where there are criminals. But bitcoin is not accepted by the government. There will be no one to protect your interests when robbed bitcoin.
I don't think that because criminality and bitcoin are not directly related to each other. Infact the decentralization and anonymity of BTC has made it perfect for all people who want to avoid high bank taxes and do not want to be controlled by corrupt political. Bitcoins are not found to increase crime rate in any society. They are just a mode of payment.
Anything that can be a form of payment by criminals are a good target by them to use in their illegal transactions - that is really the hard truth that we need to accept and leave the catching with these criminals by our enforcers.

Criminals are active all over the world with bitcoin or without bitcoin. Theres a chance of using btc in crime but my point is that even without btc they can do a crime any time.

In every human aspect of invention, there would be people who will use it as the mean to outsmart the controlling body. I am not surprised that bitcoin is now widely used in those transactions. Sadly to say that it ruins the image of bitcoin and cryptocurrency itself in this matter.

I believed that it's a nature of human being that if they have a chance to grow in a community in terms of money they will do everthing to have it even if the way of earning it is bad and illegal.Criminals will use anything that they want as a form of payment - either bitcoin, fiat cash, properties, artworks, and the like. i think the use of the bitcoin can reduce the rate of the criminality because most of criminal cases are happen because of the show of the fiat money while in the bitcoin nobody can watch your account that how much you have. if nobody know about your wallet then the chance of the criminal case is also very low to happen with you.

Criminals has been present even before bitcoins were ever invented. But the possibility of bitcoin being used by these criminals is there because they can use it to finance crimes (drugs, terrorists). It depends to a person even he's not using bitcoin they are some people are used bitcoin as a gambling or buying some illegal drugs but they are good person use bitcoin as a charity worked or fund raising.

I do not really look to bitcoin as a reason of criminality. It is always depend on the perso whether they choose to do so. Just like other crimes out of th scope of technology, is is a person's decision to commit a crime and to the other person if he or she would choose to be part of it. Theymay use bitcoin to do so, but they cannot control another person to be involved in it. Bitcoin has nothing to do with it.
I think it depends on the people who use bitcoin, because even in other coin if the people want to use or to do a criminality they can do it whenever they want and where ever they are. Don't just focus on bitcoin disadvantage to cover the real crimanality act of other things.
