I think Cryptos have a bigger possibility of crashing first (Bitcoin in particular) due to a chain of bad news linked around it. Fiat and the stock market can always be manipulated.

Isn't it crisis already? Those weak minds who sold their cryptos at the very cheap price makes the crisis even more severe especially that Chinese New Year is already near.

Crisis is already over and if you observe the market the prices have zoomed past 7k and may even touch 8k today itself. So those who had sold during panic times and if not bought would start regretting soon due to the new rise btc prices may show us in coming months.

Op was talking about the recent flash crash at the stock exchange in New York, not about the crash of the cryptocurrencies.
Regarding the cryptocurrencies, here I would agree. When we see losses of 70% there is no other way than to call this a crisis.

I don't see a crisis there for the moment. What we saw yesterday will recover today because for the moment the fundamental data of the companies are still good, and the interests are not too high yet. But as soon as the interests will increase, I am convinced we see an end of the bullish market, especially in the US. And the rest of the markets will follow that lead.

The stock market crash was being predicted for a couple of months now , just like the whole crypto market .
I'm just wondering how long the usa can take this ,  the usa just borrowed another 1 trillion for next year.
So if they keep going on like this people are gonna want to move out of usd and crypto is a good alternative.

CRisis will not come anymore as it is happening now on every exchange.
at first, crypto is really at the sea of red and then this news. China and it's Chinese people is really a big factor in our community and holds lots of investment. i hope this will end soon as the New year of them will be coming soon and end!

After the Chinese new year we can expect huge difference in the price of bitcoin. All this price fluctuation will be rectified at this chinese new year.We know 30% of people are from China and the chinese new made positive pact in the price of bitcoin.Due to fake news, price is reduced. The investors should use it as a opportunity and keep going .

crypo and stocks are completely different, crypto is new and was not regulated, the price is the same than 3 months ago, now is regulated and there wont be a peak like last december, the technology will start to be adopted and the growth will be slowly but consistent. There is nos crisis, this is just a new thing.

Crisis won't hit the nation like what happend in the past .Currently there is down fall in every market all over the world and it won't last for longer time.Last December itself the crypto market started falling and it became main talk of the media globally. The ban that came in some of the Asian countries has also affected the market of btc as China is one of the leading market which has high number of investors and miners were basically from china and south korea such action in the ban  has caused lot of loss in the market which resulted in panic selling. There is a meeting in one or two weeks after that we can come to know on which way the market of crypto is about to go.

Well this what they call crisis is presently happening absolutely since bitcoin price has been declining since last week. We all need not to be panic when situation like this arises. In other way around, it is the best time to buy bitcoin and invest it. Sooner or later, price would rise , no one knows you will get double. Just be patient.

I don't know if this is the right place to talk about that but since 2008 three trillion dollars were created out of nothing.

Precisely.

IMF's SDR is moving like crazy. If you were around in 1987 and again in 2007, then you know it's a signal and it means

"Brace yourself. Impact is inevitable."

I believe that is what has affected crypto currencies market too. Since on Monday bitcoin and other coins has been falling at an abysmal and I keep on wandwring what was the reason behind this fall. I think we are having micro bearish market across the globe. Hope things improved soon! Many are already counting their loses as panic sales has set in.

Analyzing the crisis will be around the corner no matter in the country that you live. Economically the world is not perfectly well, of course the movement of cryptocurrencies was launched in order to balance this global crisis lived fiat coins. I do not think we can predict what the economic future will be like, but we can prevent it from touching us so directly if it is coalitioned at some point.

There was a kind of 'Black Monday' in the US Stock Exchange. The Dow Jones Index fell 4.60 percent. A daily loss was the strongest drop in Wall Street history with 1,175 points. Panic sales jumped into the world, the Japanese Nike index dropped by 5.5 percent ...

I do not particularly like to give disastrous news, but the crisis is in the doorway ...! The American Stock Exchange has not experienced such a decline for a long time.

Is this situation the signals of the crisis or is this crisis going to be skipped in a short time?

We are all waiting with curiosity ....

Suddenly the Dow Jones index is very popular everywhere and I believe that this is also affecting the bitcoin or crypto exchanges also. Because it seems that people are taking the whole thing out of fear and they think that the fall in Wall Street might just affect it adversely. So surely the bitcoin fall is really temporary and I believe that we gonna enjoy the upcoming days for the bitcoin. I mean it could happen that people might just choose crypto currencies so that the number of investors here will increase dramatically and thus we will enjoy increased market cap. The prices are going to increase too so just seat tight and hold your bitcoins. :-) There is no crisis its just good news for us.

Im in with your explanation and its quite make sense. maybe the decreasing of price in US stock exchange can make bitcoin comes more stronger, because the investors finally will see the greatness of btc rather than the common trading stocks.

I suppose it is world economy correction, one of the usual phase which is followed by panic sell as usual, human psychology.

There is no crisis in Crypto world and there is a big difference between the stocks market and digital currencies. One of the differentiating factor here is that the stock market is safe in terms of government backing, while bitcoins belong to a decentralized network in which all we can do is to hold our coins and buy more. What we are facing is purely an ultimate corrections not truly a crisis in which we really don't want to dump our coins but it just happen that the price value is being manipulated and some of us don't have any choice but to dump their coins in order to save losses.
