Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

And I think the root of all of these is that when one person becomes greedy, all of the criteria you’ve mentioned will be done the opposite, because most gamblers are doing what they are doing because of money.
When the person becomes greedy, then there is no criterion left for that person that whether he would become a gambler or a bigger thing than this. This is the holy truth that all the gamblers are gambling for the sake of money and they cover their doings by saying that they are doing this just for fun or to experience something new in their lives. Money for them is first priority in gambling and after that everything comes.

We cannot be perfect for everything and in my opinion people who have the knowledge to become better in gambling has those criteria. It's all about the emotion of the person and how he or she will react when they win or lose in a gambling situation.

You've made a great post, OP, which has rightfully earned you a lot of merits, mine included. I only want to point out, that in reality we can't be good gamblers always. Although we know that we should behave like you've stated in your post, sometimes we do chase profit, sometimes we can't control ourselves, sometimes we don't know when to stop and so on. In reality we can only strive for being a good gambler and the more we succeed in this the better.

Gambling is a game of fun but money makes it more interesting. Gamblers should be more responsible because on every action they do, there’s a consequences. A gambler must have all this thing, so they will be broken at the end of the day.
It is true that gambling was created to give entertainment to everyone who likes to gamble but others misunderstood the existence of gambling. Because of greediness in money they tend to gamble to earn money like it was a job and too late to realize that they are already addicted to it. The OP post was a very informative way not to become addicted to gambling because at this statement you will know how to control your self in gambling or you just have a limitation to gambling activity that should not good for us especially for those people were chasing money on gambling or those they made gambling as a source of income.

About merges with the game, I want to add something, that is., we indeed really have to choose the game that is most familiar/mastered or the most we enjoyed it. Most of the people on this forum talks about gambling like its one game, most people have just one approach to gambling and that is the reason why most people lose in gambling.

I think you are clearly stating about of the game strategy but everyone has their own game strategy and some of them had a special belief in order for them to win. But most of all in order for you to win is your skills, critical thinking, knowledge, and luck. Without this luck your chances of winning would be lesser than when you have.The thing is, we should not take gambling as an easy way to make money, instead we have to know the risk in order to carefully study it and succeed.

I think you are clearly stating about of the game strategy but everyone has their own game strategy and some of them had a special belief in order for them to win. But most of all in order for you to win is your skills, critical thinking, knowledge, and luck. Without this luck your chances of winning would be lesser than when you have. 
Many gamblers anticipate that they can earn instant money therefore they ignire that criteria and for the wise gamblers that is not only focused in money have a good insight looking to all aspects and not only to make money. Controlling, learning to be wise and creating a good strategy.
The problem most of them usually have at the end today all started because of that thought. I wonder how someone would imagine in their head that a game of chance is a way to earn more like they are trying to do a job, an investment or a business, and that is how some people do see it.It would always be hard for such people to control themselves because they tune their mind into the positiveness and forgetting that in gambling, there is more negativity than positiveness and not being able to tune your mind to the negative aspect of it makes such a person a bad gambler.

Even if you try to teach the gamblers some morals of life - they will never learn or get over their habits. They understand that its bad for their time money health and their family. But still they will gamble until they are stretched thin and even in debt. They realize that the house will win in the long run and they are wasting their resources trying to run after the jackpot but it of no use telling them.
Possibly they have become resistant to people giving them advice on how to be a "good" gambler.
A good gambler has their own limitation and knows when to stop the game. They know how to manage their financial especially if they already know that their budget isn't enough for his family then he should stop there.
