That's correct. It is possible. Most of new technologies that arm us humanity is helping us becomes more educated and smarter. Cryptocurrency is also that kind of technology and make people more smarter. But looking for scammers, I think only with regulations it is difficult to avoid them.
I think it won't, people who are obsessed with money would do everything just to have their hands into it. Most of them do things and don't even give time reading what they are doing. Why? because they think it's easy money and most ICOs give the mentality of that by stating bonuses, give aways, raffles etc.

It may be true that you also say, but seeing the current condition of the world where or in some developing countries, many people complete college or school to undergraduate, but most of them do not get a job in their field due to intense competition. Now from that, so many smart people out there are unemployed or don't have a job, so they can look for alternatives, including in cryptocurrency, if they are clogged up they will commit fraud, by means of their intelligence.

I reflect on the fact that lack of regulation in the field of crypto currency, gives wide opportunities for scam projects. Yes of course mostly in trading crypto because it's not really as plain as the trader saying 'buy low & sell high', eventually you have to do some techniques and analysis as well to be an effective crypto trader like you must check if the token you are buying has the potential to make it big in the market, you have to analyze and monitor if their are volume for buy and also check the history of trades. Those are some kind of a basic thing to do in crypto but it would greatly help you to be more smart and wiser trader.

So we need to calculate everything carefully, do everything with many considerations, and if we do trading, we need to think quickly if something happen, and make the best decisions regarding our investments.

People become smart also by evaluation the white papers of the project they become more on criticizing and knowing about real and copy paste projects...
