The law under discussion, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on December 6, is dedicated to the implementation of the FATF decisions of June 21 this year and is aimed at combating money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism. He establishes that with all transactions in cryptocurrency over 30,000 hryvnias, that is, approximately $ 1,300, in Ukraine will be identified by the sender and recipient of the payment. Other states must also adopt similar laws throughout the year.

It depends, countries differ especially in their regulation and jurisdiction, they also have difference on how they view technology and innovation in particular, there are many countries that view's cryptocurrency as a threat their economy which could be considered a a hindrance for a massive adoption. One thing that should be built first is the trust from people to government and government to people. Once the trust and relationship is already established, then implementation or legalization of more cryptocurrency and blockchain projects will be easier.

Yes this is excellent news for using crypto legally in Ukraine so their now doing well. Actually crypto already have been global but some countries accept legal and many countries not accept yet legally so i think this will be available in all countries.

every adoption is a win for the community and for the technology mate and besides for me Ukraine is one good place where to start spreading awareness from European countries (added since Europe is open for crypto)
if this continues for sure there are other countries that will try to look what is the advantage of this technology and currency to favor their Economy.

double checked , there is no such law that passed through the parliament
although Zelensky is a new leader that is pro-technology and he is trying to build quote " a state in a smartphone" whatever you take from it
he is far from being pictured a crypto enthusiast , maybe heard about bitcoin but definitely never shown his affinity towards it
in regards to the blockchain usage ,yes there are several projects that are being discussed but nothing that is implemented
Ukraine has a few bitcoin exchanges like Kuna , but being a corrupt state I doubt that many companies or banks would love the blockchain implementation
since it would be way harder to do underhand business

although Ukraine is not a big country but it is a good impact because more and more countries are adopting Bitcoin then that will make this digital currency more developed in the future. No matter how small a country is, as long as a certain country is adopting cryptocurrency it is indeed a good news for us. We will achieve mass adoption. If this leads to a good result, then the government of Ukraine might strengthen cryptocurrency in their country and of course other countries will follow this adoption. It is, in fact, a road to the development of the world if not just Ukraine will start to legalize bitcoin and another cryptocurrency.
