So, guys, I think it's a small but a win. A win of our crypto community! I hope there will be more such examples of accepting crypto in 2020. We will start with small countries and then go to global powers. What do you think?

There's the news https://bitcoinist.com/crypto-payments-now-legal-in-ukraine/

Not a big news, nor interesting one cause every govt should hear what their people want and to be like this country so it should be a normal thing.

On the other side, the govt might want to ease the control of crypto utilization since their people don't need to do transactions silently anymore.

Not every country has a good government and not every government listens to what their people wants.
Many countries have corrupt governments and so it is indeed a big news if Ukraine legalized crypto payments.
Such things should keep happening and only then will people realize the potential use of crypto.
I think it all depends on how the government run their new cryptocurrency to the people. Just like China they don't support bitcoin because they can't control it and they think it's risky that's why they supported the blockchain technology to create their own cryptocurrency. Now, the people have to deal with it but i still don't know if it will be a trend to their people or not.

Wow, this awesome. I am much more happier about the fact that Ukraine has made such announcement about legalizing cryptocurrencies than the nuances of details contained in this bill. This act will encourage other countries to reconsider their harsh decisions about crypto and also make way for those countries who have not made any stance with cryptocurrencies to legalize it in one way or another. Let's never give up on the adoption and use of cryptocurrencies because it will happen someday, hopefully.

It may have a small impact now. But in the future of bitcoin we see it clearly and it's starting now.
Therefore, we will continue to support bitcoin and other altcoins as this will give us good income in the future.

If that's the case, then it is really a great news for us who are in the crypto community because there is another country who legalized bitcoin already and I don't know what would be happen on the following years, maybe we will just legalized for some small country first as our first step and later on, even the biggest countries will already legalized bitcoin or cryptocurrency and that would be really a good for us but before that we must be able to adapt first cryptocurrency in some countries and places so that the government will be enlighten about the good factors that the crypto will bring to their country. We will just start on little and as time passes by we will be able to target those bigger opportunities.

A big step forward for cryptocurrencies, congratulating the Ukrainian cryptocurrency user community.
This news may make other governments more interested in electronic money.
In my country, e-money is only considered as an asset that people invest to make a profit. A person would break the law if he used cryptocurrency to pay for an item, I hope that one day I can freely use cryptocurrency when shopping.

This is good news for the crypto community, hopefully other countries can follow in the footsteps of Ukraine legalizing crypto.
Especially for countries who banned crypto can change their minds about this news. I really hope that this news can slightly
drives the price of bitcoin. Because with this news at least it will attract new investors in Ukraine to buy bitcoin. Although it is
still a small step, but I am sure it will bring a positive effect on the growth of crypto world.

the acceptance of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in a country is positive feedback for us. considering that there are still many developed countries rejecting the regulation of Bitcoin. We need to pay attention that when developed countries give negative statements about Bitcoin/crypto the price crashes. Hopefully, there will be no more manipulation and the price of Bitcoin will rise again above 10k USD.

Congrats to Ukraine to finally legalize BTC, maybe we will also see Ukraine digital currency as well.

corruption in the country must be very rampant so this legalization is probably just the start to to probably monitor officials in their country since their president sees blockchain as a tool in fighting systemic corruption in the country. there were few articles about Ukrainian politicians owns huge amount of BTC. sort of a surprise that a lawmaker reveals they owns BTC amounting to millions of USD.

Maybe this news looks small but it is great news for the people of Ukraine. Crypto is now classified and will be treated as a property in that country. With this the people can trade and invest in crypto legally and they will not need to hide thier crpto related activites like in other countries where the use of crypto is considered as an illegal action.
People should see how good or bad this decision turns out to be in the long run for Ukraine public.

Is a nice step for Ukraine and for the cryptos. Is nice to see a country supporting cryptos a letting their civilians to use them with freedom. I'm waiting for my country to do the same, but it will take some time for México to see the light. We already have the fintech law, but it was made for big companies and not for simple humans. So, we need more laws about the topic.

It is good that slowly by slowly, cryptocurrency is being accepted by different countries. But what I am afraid of is that we never know what will happen in the long run. What if these governments will abuse crypto years after legalizing crypto? I am not against legalization, in fact I am happy but it just makes me think about the other possibilities that we might encounter.
Indeed, particularly nowadays that anything is possible when it comes to money it means there is a huge chance that they will take advantage of it. Well we don't know the possible things that may happen but for now let's just be happy that the adoption is improving because I know that crypto is capable on handling things very well. Governments are wise they will do anything no matter what it takes just to get what they wanted without getting their reputation ruin so we should be cautious since we can't easily say their true intention with crypto. It sounds to negative but it's possible so we must prepare ourselves.

Ukraine was already a crypto friendly country and a lot of people there are already accepting bitcoin and crypto as a payment method in their business, and there were no statements before from the government about it, but with the recent news and a lot of countries like Germany, France moving toward crypto, it seems that a lot of European countries are going toward that and accepting crypto as it has a good potential to become somthing big in the future.

This is a small step towards to the global adoption of cryptocurrency and I see a lot of news like this. I hope someone doesn't spread some fake news out there just because the market is in bearish trend. Let's keep some kind of news like this coming because it will give the cryptocurrency a chance to get some investors. I think China was the first one who took the first step that's why most countries are following.

About global powers, that's more unlikely, if you're talking about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency adoption. From your words, these countries have 'power' to make their own digital currency, or even their own version of cryptocurrency (but highly unlikely since they don't want full transparency) and use it to lead the race again for being the globally accepted currency aside from their own fiat.

Very encouraging news for all of us crypto lovers, this indicates that crypto is starting to be in demand by countries in Europe and even there is an issue saying Europeans themselves will use digital currencies as substitutes for major currencies in the near future.

Hopefully other states can begin to be open to crypto in the future.
