One of the influencer in my country has started the business of selling the shirts with bitcoin logo on it. This will not only help him get some business but at the same time, it is a step towards the crypto awareness.

Keep in mind that we live in a country where we are not allowed to buy and sell through bitcoin. Therefore he is selling the shirts in the fiat currency however all the shirts have Bitcoin logo over it. This is the maximum he can do to promote bitcoin. I hope when some day bitcoin may become a legal tender here also, then he can do the transactions in Bitcoin.

While I love wearing bitcoin logo in tshirt and all the stuffs that has this logos , but i also knew how risky this will be as
we can be named as bitcoin supporter and investors in which will attract criminals to make us target , we also understand that there are bad elements that is only waiting for victims ,
yes we can hide our keys in more safety places , but the chance of being force to reveal our seeds is there once they threaten our life.
actually I have  A bitcoin shirt but only wearing this in a friendly meetings to lure them and try making them investors.
but I love the concept that your friend is imposing and I hope that this will be a way of making people in your community aware about bitcoin and consider investing in time.
and knowing that you are not allow in your country to purchase from bitcoin , this will be a hard task for every supporters making them aware of the market.

You own the pen
I have a friend who also did the samething, actually it feels nice and somehow proud to wear a t-shirt with a cryptocurrency logo since other could recognize it, and there are times that some stranger or workmates would actually open up a topic and talk to you about crypto when they see the t-shirt.

Yes! Of course, because that will gonna save you time and promote only to the people that are interested you don't need to talk first either because you only answer their questions when they started to ask you something about bitcoins. You will also find those people who asked you good listeners because they are curious and want to know things from the pros. Most people who approached you will have some basic questions so before wearing those shirts, you better have an idea of what you are talking about also don't forget to warn them against scammers and frauds and also don't forget to enlighten them about bitcoins nothing to do with any Ponzi Scheme or scams rather it is also a victim. scammers used it as a prop for their scam activities.

The idea of selling t-shirts with a Bitcoin logo is great. However, you mentioned that you're in a country where buying and selling through Bitcoin is not allowed. So is it safe to publicly promote Bitcoin where people can see you wearing it? Although it's being sold using fiat, the idea that you're promoting something that's not accepted in your country, I'm not sure if it's safe. Btw, up to what extent does that rule apply in your country? Is it prohibited or illegal? Cause if it's not illegal but still isn't widely known in your country, Bitcoin promotion thru t-shirts are a good business idea.
I used to have a shirt with a huge Bitcoin logo in front that I used to wear a lot. When I wear it, I feel like I'm promoting Bitcoin to people who'll see my shirt, and it kinda feels great when you would notice that some people will look at your shirt.

Wow, great to hear that influencers in your country are taking a creative approach to spreading awareness about Bitcoin! Selling T-shirts with the Bitcoin logo is a fantastic idea to promote cryptocurrencies and make them more accessible to people who may not know much about them.

Even if there are Bitcoin buying and selling constraints in your country, these influencers are still looking for ways to support the crypto movement. I'm sure as Bitcoin becomes more widely accepted and legal tender in your country, the demand for these T-shirts will continue to increase.

Keep spreading crypto awareness, one t-shirt at a time!

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
This is a business and also a very good idea because indirectly those who wear clothes with the bitcoin logo can introduce bitcoin to people who still don't know bitcoin when wearing it. And with this, people who are still not familiar with it will be lured by nice t-shirts with the bitcoin logo, because if they are interested in those t-shirts with the bitcoin logo, they will ask what is bitcoin. Or they can look for it themselves by looking for it on the internet if curious.
although bitcoin is now popular but I'm sure there are still many people who don't know about it at all, and introducing various ways to show the bitcoin logo is a good move.
and in my opinion the t-shirt with the bitcoin logo that you are displaying is very good and also matches the color of the shirt and the color of the writing or the bitcoin logo, very interesting.

Does such product promotion really works ? I think t-shirt promos arent up-to-date anymore. At least simple sign Bitcoin does not do much alone. What about people who wear FBI caps. That does not mean they are FBI agents, and you can ask them about their work. Same as wearing a football t-shirt with name Ronaldo does not mean a person is somehow familiar with him. Does not make people buy his CR7 brand goods or instantly become a fan of Al Nassr FC.

I have to say it ain’t really that effective strategy, but it’s a lot better than those who do nothing for bitcoin promotion. If this influencer will continue to promote his product in the social media, I guess in the long run he will be able to attract new investors for bitcoin especially if he also extend his help to those who really show their interest to learn about bitcoin. Not only he will make profits, but he can also help boost the interest of bitcoin enthusiasts to learn and promote bitcoin as well.

I actually like that kind of business too and that is regardless of the way a person promotes crypto through the product he sells it. Because I also printed the BTC logo on four of the T-shirts that I still wear today, but not many people have asked about the writing Bitcoin and the logo on my clothes. And even some people already think of it as a normal thing even though they might already know about Bitcoin.

I also hope that one day Bitcoin can be better and more useful than fiat money so that Bitcoin's position can surpass fiat in society. But until now it still hasn't happened in my place, and one more thing that I also like the way of promoting Bitcoin through t-shirts like that. Because when someone wears the shirt, surely the people around them will also see the logo, although not all of them will ask what it is.

I do not know about you, but I would rather not to let people know I have Bitcoin. It is about how I personally perceive security and liberty here in my country.

One of the reasons I got into this world of decentralized assets and Bitcoin was because I wanted to find a way to keep a little bit of money out the reach of bad people. Unfortunately, here we don't only have crooks in the streets but also in the banks and the government, who do not care to mess with our savings and drive us into starvation in the name of an ideology.

If any of you guys feel safe enough in your country to wear a Bitcoin T-shirt, then do, and feel lucky of your community and country because you are truly blessed.

Cheers.  Smiley

Those T-shirts are overpriced. Slapping Bitcoin logos on a T-shirt doesn't increase the value. And those things that are the best, doesn't need advertisement. The name itself becomes a brand and people will recognize it without creating such awareness. Also, how many T-Shirts have you bought and came home to research on what is written on it? Does the T-shirt encourage others who have no idea about bitcoin to learn about it? People mindlessly buys clothes by colors and design.
Only those who knows about Bitcoin will be excited to buy something like this. Bitcoin is a decentralized asset. It gives you freedom and the ability to keep your privacy safe. Why let people know that you own Bitcoin by wearing a T-shirt? It compromises your privacy and security. I don't know how is this going to help to spread awareness, and not to mentioned that Bitcoin is not officially accepted in your country.

If he wanted to promote Bitcoin more effectively he can just give the t-shirt away.  I think the influencer is just taking advantage of the crypto industry in proliferating his own business.  I bet if there is another hot trend, he will put it on his T-shirt so that he can profit from that trend.  I think the influencer motive is profit first then the awareness thing is just the after-effect of the merchandise.

It is nice idea seeing people taking their time to promote Bitcoin, but I can't really say that the person selling the T-shirt with the Bitcoin logo on it is doing it with that Bitcoin best interests in mind. After all, a logo alone won't help people understand Bitcoin existence because many people view images on clothing and other objects as common thing. Therefore, it is difficult for people to understand information from merely photographs unless they have prior knowledge of the topic, yet some people can still comprehend and request additional information about Bitcoin if they noticed the logo.

No, I don't believe that the seller has Bitcoin's best interest in mind, it is business and obviously the best interest is profit.

Indeed, it’s a great initiative for an influencer to promote bitcoin awareness to the public knowing that bitcoin is not well acknowledged in your country. However, that will also put his life into danger knowing the public will know eventually that he’s into bitcoin and might have probably huge amount of bitcoin hodlings in his own account. I just hope that he should be more careful and be more responsible on managing his investment since people are now eyeing on him because of his bitcoin wealth.

In the realm of business, practicality takes precedence. Regardless of the legality of Bitcoin in a particular country, it should not hinder the utilization of its logo on T-shirts. Just like firearms are not legal for everyone, there are still T-shirts featuring gun logos or images readily available. Incorporating the Bitcoin logo on merchandise can contribute to greater outreach and help in spreading awareness about Bitcoin. This exposure can attract the attention of new individuals who may become curious about the logo and subsequently develop an interest in Bitcoin. Ultimately, it creates a mutually beneficial situation for all parties involved.

If that is the case, then I would suggest that using this approach of T-shirt sales to raise awareness is a great idea, but it has to be redesigned so it can add a few little words in such away people can quickly notice the existence and found way to do their own research.Although the existence of Bitcoin is nothing new, raising awareness of it can only help it receive greater attention.

I was eager to open the link to see the shirt sample and the country from which it was sold because the write-up looks like something done in my country but it wasn't. Like you said apart from the fact that he is making awareness about bitcoin is another source of income that bitcoin enthusiasts will buy from him.

Influencers are usually being paid to promote a product so I don't think his friends voluntarily be doing it but the OP can always pay them in order to promote his business.
You are kind of right, influencers are always being paid just to run advertisement for them, but am sure nobody will pay any influencer to advertise bitcoin. The only thing I think the influencer is trying to do is to make money, after producing t-shirts that bitcoin is printed on it, then he will sell it and make his money, so am sure the influencer cares about the money he will make after producing the t-shirt, so that’s why he is marketing the t-shirt. But I believe he should be careful since bitcoin is illegal in the country, so that he won’t be landed in trouble.

I don't think a T-shirt will help to provide crypto awareness. Yeah, it's great to make business and all, but it's not more than that.

Although not consciously registering, from a psychological perspective, when the Bitcoin logo is ubiquitous and attached to someone's T-shirt, many eyes will retain it as a memory. And if this is repeated regularly, it will make people curious about the existence of Bitcoin without our taking persuasive action. This soft-selling technique doesn't force new users, but rather entices their curiosity. Trust me! It really happens.

On the other hand, people who are already familiar with Bitcoin and see someone wearing a Bitcoin logo shirt, I'm sure there is a sense of pride that there is someone of the same frequency in their environment. I don't think it will be difficult to start a small conversation in public. Many positive impacts can be gained from producing Bitcoin logo apparel and selling it to the general public.

This is a good idea because in some countries that do not allow bitcoin, selling T-shirts with the Bitcoin logo for fiat currency will not directly violate any regulations. This is just a normal exchange and trade of goods, so there is nothing to worry about. The purpose is both to make a profit and to advertise and raise awareness among people who know about cryptocurrencies. Get people to recognize crypto as a future trend leader. This is a positive thing and needs to be pushed further by everyone.

This is only about business and indeed even though it can still be done and is quite good but actually this kind of thing is too commonplace in my opinion.
But even so the good thing maybe in this case he wants to take advantage of followers to expand the business he does and wants to admit more that he is in bitcoin but again something like this in my opinion is not too impactful because regardless of anything this will only benefit him privately with businesses conducted under the pretense of self-declared bitcoin.

I appreciate things like this but on the other hand I'm also a little less inclined to say this as a form of introduction to bitcoin with just a logo because basically things like that are commonplace when talking about the Internet today.

I've tried wearing one and trust me, no one even cares about the Bitcoin logo, no one asked me what's logo is it, or anything that poked their interest, or let's say somebody will asked what is it, the you'll say Bitcoin, and the first idea that will come up to their mind is "scam" because of scammers using bitcoin that has been reported in television so many times already.

If we really want Bitcoin awareness in a positive way, I think the Government has the only power to that in the majority of places.
Relying solely on the logo sometimes goes nowhere, it takes some appropriate emphasis to really grab attention especially in offensive environments, although you should only allow a small space for the logo itself. In my environment, humorous writing attracts more young people.

I would just be careful with some sayings on the T-shirts, like "hold Bitcoin, retire early" or "mine your own Bitcoin", because this can be spotted as misleading propaganda. We have to be careful to not give false expectations to other people, as we can't guarantee they are going to retire early if they invest in BTC, since the cryptocurrency is highly volatile on both directions. Moreover, most adopters aren't going to mine their own BTCs, because it's an expensive activity which demands high investment and appropriate infrastructure.

Anyway, it's great to see Bitcoin is being promoted even inside countries where it's still frowned up by authorities.
