Not just t-shirts, Bitcoin logos can now be seen on almost all products. It's true that the t- shirt logo inspires people about Bitcoin. But not all products with logos are correct. Now if the Bitcoin logo is affixed to illegal products. Bitcoin can never have that responsibility. If illegal goods are purchased with legal currency, the buyer is responsible for that, not the currency. Bitcoin has gained quite a reputation as a legitimate international money exchange. It is not uncommon for illegal products to use the Bitcoin logo to destroy reputation

Having a huge logo of BTC on a t-shirt would not necessarily create awareness about BTC when the people are not properly educates about what the logo is about.
While his initiative is quite laudible, it is imperative that those his intending customers are educated about BTC so they can make informed decisions about BTC.

One of the influencer in my country has started the business of selling the shirts with bitcoin logo on it. This will not only help him get some business but at the same time, it is a step towards the crypto awareness.
Bitcoin will succeed and it is little efforts this here and there that will help to propagate the message to the naysayser, the undecided and others. It will be super easy for the influencer to reach a lot of people of the followers. In addition to shirts with bitcoin logo on it, the individual could add other merch as well -  like shoes, caps, wristwatches, pants, etc to reach a wide range of customers who may not be interested in the shirts. If you are not allowed to buy and sell through bitcoin, I presume you just buy and hold or you use the bitcoin for international payments. The logo is good but the shirts should go with a brief note about bitcoin.

Influencers are usually being paid to promote a product so I don't think his friends voluntarily be doing it
Influencers are usually paid by shitcoin owners to promote their token or coin, but if you are promoting BTC you aren't going to get paid by anyone, BTC is decentralized and none of its developers is going to hire you to promote BTC, its use cases is all the promotion that BTC needs. Contributing to the BTC network is voluntary, even the thousands of nodes all around the world who run the BTC client do so for free and without any payment, that it why the network is great.

I've tried wearing one and trust me, no one even cares about the Bitcoin logo, no one asked me what's logo is it, or anything that poked their interest, or let's say somebody will asked what is it, the you'll say Bitcoin, and the first idea that will come up to their mind is "scam" because of scammers using bitcoin that has been reported in television so many times already.

If we really want Bitcoin awareness in a positive way, I think the Government has the only power to that in the majority of places.

I guess buying and selling t-shirts with bitcoin logos in your country is fine because people can still use fiat currency to buy them.
It also won't violate any regulations in your country because it's just a t-shirt with the bitcoin logo, just like any other t-shirt.
And it will be a good promotion for bitcoin so that it can be recognized by many people in your country, especially if your friend is an influencer.
An influencer will surely promote his goods and by giving a good explanation, will attract many people to buy his t-shirts.
As long as Bitcoin is fully legal in his country, then this is a good business to have because people there must have known Bitcoin or is a solid fan of it. Like me, I am also hunting for Bitcoin merchandise in my local but it's unfortunate that there are no stores nearby that offer it.

I guess that is because I am on a place which are far away from the big city and maybe there is only less people here who know about Bitcoin. Influencers are usually being paid to promote a product so I don't think his friends voluntarily be doing it but the OP can always pay them in order to promote his business. Doing this also benefits Bitcoin as it makes people curious about the logo or the name Bitcoin.

Kudos to him for taking steps in promoting Bitcoin despite the severe limitations of Bitcoin in your country. Maybe, add information packets in every purchase or link this forum to his shop for more awareness of Bitcoin to his customers. Though, he has to be very careful as to not be targeted, harassed, or worse for doing something like this. Hoping for continued success with your friend.

I think that's a good thing. And for the record, as far as I know there is no prohibition for employers to make t-shirts with various logos and that doesn't make someone commit a crime with that logo. Except for logos related to rebellion or terrorism. That's funny right?  Grin Grin

At my place a lot of people wear t-shirts with the logos of FBI, SWAT, Metal, Free Speech, and also logos of cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, BNB and SOL (which I have found) and have no problem with that. Note that as long as there are no words that invite people to do something that is prohibited by the state, such as wearing BTC clothes, then add the words "Let's Buy BTC and don't listen to what the Government has said"  Wink Wink Grin

This is a business and also a very good idea because indirectly those who wear clothes with the bitcoin logo can introduce bitcoin to people who still don't know bitcoin when wearing it. And with this, people who are still not familiar with it will be lured by nice t-shirts with the bitcoin logo, because if they are interested in those t-shirts with the bitcoin logo, they will ask what is bitcoin. Or they can look for it themselves by looking for it on the internet if curious.
although bitcoin is now popular but I'm sure there are still many people who don't know about it at all, and introducing various ways to show the bitcoin logo is a good move.
and in my opinion the t-shirt with the bitcoin logo that you are displaying is very good and also matches the color of the shirt and the color of the writing or the bitcoin logo, very interesting.

Does such product promotion really works ? I think t-shirt promos arent up-to-date anymore. At least simple sign Bitcoin does not do much alone. What about people who wear FBI caps. That does not mean they are FBI agents, and you can ask them about their work. Same as wearing a football t-shirt with name Ronaldo does not mean a person is somehow familiar with him. Does not make people buy his CR7 brand goods or instantly become a fan of Al Nassr FC.

That's a good one if the main idea is to raise awareness to the people that are going to see that t-shirt. If that's an affordable price to most then that will be a successful business and aim.
But then, there have been news and reports about $5 wrench attacks and this can be one of the ways for these attackers to determine if someone holds and owns a bitcoin.
That will be easy for them to know their targets. Yes, it's possible that it can happen but I'm not telling it that it shall bring the whole negativity to anyone who's going to wear it but, it's just about the reality that has happened to the others.
True. I think this is very possible for those scammers to easily trace bitcoin hodlers since wearing bitcoin T-shirts only means that you are a believer and a long time investor in bitcoin, and that you be could owning already a lot of bitcoin profits. Though this idea is very good for public awareness, but it will also trigger the safety of those people who are actually making profits from bitcoin. That’s why most bitcoin earners are just hiding their identities so they can avoid crypto scammers.
Yes.
So, it's like having a helpful way of promoting bitcoin to the public but at the same time, you'll be thinking about safety concerns upon wearing it. You choose what matters to you. We can contribute in bitcoin's growth in some other ways if you're concerned with your safety.
But if you're for it as in fashion, you can always wear it anytime you want and just reason out that it's just given to you. I have seen someone wear something like this in the public but no offense, that person was a beggar and that t-shirt was just likely given to him.

Keep in mind that we live in a country where we are not allowed to buy and sell through bitcoin. Therefore he is selling the shirts in the fiat currency however all the shirts have Bitcoin logo over it. This is the maximum he can do to promote bitcoin. I hope when some day bitcoin may become a legal tender here also, then he can do the transactions in Bitcoin.

Its fantastic to see that the influencer is using a fresh strategy to promote Bitcoin and raise cryptocurrency awareness in your nation. The influencer idea to sell Bitcoin logo shirts in fiat money is a step towards bridging the gap between conventional banking and the crypto world notwithstanding the limitations on purchasing and selling through Bitcoin. Its admirable that the influencer is not just concentrating on his business but also helping the greater crypto community to expand. Hopefully as your nation develops more people will be curious about learning more about Bitcoin and the influencer initiatives will serve as a catalyst in making that happen.

It's him modeling the shirts on his website.  That's a bit risky seeing their government doesn't allow BTC. Although he may own some BTC, but because he promotes BTC shirts, authorities may not believe it.

This kind of shirt might just be common in the coming years as well. We may be seeing posers one day wearing these but when asked about it, they may not know what BTC is.

Small steps often add up to big things. The reason for saying this is because I saw a post in this forum a long time ago where a OP claimed that he took his wife to a hospital to give birth but that night there was probably a storm and the ATM booth was far away from him and he couldn't figure out what to do and how to manage the money. He was shocked because his wife had just had a caesarean. But even though he spoke to the doctor at that time, the doctor did not want him to undergo the operation without payment. But when the man saw a t-shirt with a bitcoin logo from the doctor, he talked to the doctor about bitcoin payment. Later the authorities accept payment in bitcoins and the doctor finally agreed to the operation. There are no words to express how much of a role that t-shirt played at that moment. People who love Bitcoin will try to extend it's area. This move by the influencer will definitely work for awareness in Bitcoin.

I am ambivalent about such bitcoin advertising. On the one hand, it seems to be a good initiative that can help people learn about btc. But on the other hand, how many people pay attention to what is written on the T-shirts of others? Do you often look at the logo on other people's T-shirts, read what is written there and try to understand what it all means? It seems to me that no. If you don't know about the existence of bitcoin and the basics, then a skewed letter "B" on an orange background will not mean much to others. A picture and a picture that means nothing to an uninformed person. Or do you think that after seeing the logo, people will immediately run to buy BTC? It's also very doubtful. So it turns out that this initiative is just an opportunity for this businessman to make money on bitcoin fans. And yet, these T-shirts are in their own way, like one big red target for a 5$ wrench attack.

It's quite nice to sell this kind of t-shirt I honestly like a Bitcoin shirt, when I see someone wearing a Bitcoin shirt it always excites me in a way. Maybe because there wasn't really a lot of this t-shirt or we dont see a lot of it.

The promotion of Bitcoin on a shirt I think is a great idea and we need more of this for promotion and exposure of Bitcoin to a lot of people,I would recommend your store to some of my friends.

I love most of your designs, more bitcoin shirts, please! But there are some issues with privacy/security if you buy this shirt.

Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k
I won't lie, If I see an interesting T-shirt, I surely go and find out what it meant. Like if there is any anime character on it or quotes, I do research around If I like it.
This is a solid business idea only if he knows how to grow it. It also solves his motive of spreading Bitcoin awareness. You shouldn't have written "Crypto Awareness" though.

Bitcoin and Crypto is two different things for many people on this forum.

Am having a question to ask, you said bitcoin is not allowed in your country, don’t  you think the government might end up arresting the influencer, or arresting anyone wear the bitcoin t-shirt? I believe it’s a nice way to make  bitcoin awareness but don’t you think it might end up putting some people into problem. Government might start arresting people wearing the clothes, the producers for marketing a currency that has been banned in the country.

I think it’s better you look for a better way to promote bitcoin, so that government won’t know bitcoin is been promoted. Am sure time will come when bitcoin will be legal in the country and it can be promoted anyhow everybody want. But now that bitcoin is illegal, then everything should be done silently, some people might buy the t-shirt and be landed in problem.

If bitcoin or crypto is not legally traded in your country's jurisdiction, then one probably shouldn't push for more promotion of it even if it is a promising business. I think sooner or later the government will probably realize that more and more people are getting involved in the trade, so since it's illegal the problem will probably be bigger.

After all, you and other users don't need to wear t-shirts with the bitcoin logo to go anywhere because in my opinion it will only threaten your safety both physically and legally. Bad people who know about the value of bitcoin might target you when they have the chance, so be wise about your financial privacy in crypto including not wearing bitcoin logo t-shirts in public.

I hope when some day bitcoin may become a legal tender here also, then he can do the transactions in Bitcoin.
The first thing you should hope for, is that the government will start allowing bitcoin and crypto to be traded legally in your country instead of regarding their adoption as legal tender. Even if the idea of adoption eventually grows, it's best to hope it's legal to trade for now.

That is fun. They should add bitcoin cartoons on it with slogans calling for the crypto investors. These type of t-shirts are eye catchy so in the long run they will be bought by many people and usually passerby always read out the slogans when they see such colorful and cartoonish t-shirts. More than that, they should start making these for the teens and children group too. It would be far more famous amongst them and they are the best marketers since they are always roaming around with light speed.  Grin

One more concept to add is QR codes. These QR codes could be linked to popular bitcoin related websites and more importantly bitcointalk forum for that matter. Any person visiting bitcointalk will ultimately become bitcoin lover if they register and have look around.
