I think if you want to get a good career in the crypto industry, especially in ICO projects, you have to be able to analyze which projects are good. being a little opportunist is also a good choice, look for projects that give contracts that are promising and make sure they pay regularly, for example monthly salary, don't receive mutual benefits at the end of the project, because when the project fails you won't get anything.

I think almost all jobs and all forms of business will definitely have risks, not just blockchain or cryptocurrency. And it seems you have to start differentiating between the blockchain and ICO functions. Thank you.
indeed, all jobs have the greatest risk and risk is as an investor. but all risks certainly have tolerance to be minimized, even though they still suffer losses. the size of the risk also determines the outcome

Hi All,
I was thinking of starting a career in blockchain projects either as a core developer or a DAPP developer.
But looking at the recent slump and disappearing ICO market, I am having doubts.
Please advise me. Thanks so much.

This is a tough career to start but if you have the determination, the resources, a good projects and the right people maybe you can create a legit ICO that everyone is aspiring for. Knowledge is also a very strong foundation in order to succeed and make the right decision.

I think having a career dream on blockchain is very good. According to Upwork's skills index, the blockchain is the fastest-growing out of more than 5,000 skill on the site. Currently, demand is far outpacing supply. ICO market plummeting don't have a big effect on the blockchain.

To be a developer is difficult, but this is very much needed for the progress of the blockchain, if you have the ability then develop and channel to get new things in your life, optimistic thinking is something that must be done in order to progress.

Ignore ICOs you can sell your developer skills for money in services section and more often than not there are bounties for devs.

For me to join as one of the development teams is a tough task, especially when the market situation is falling right now, it must be very difficult to find investor interest. in my opinion, it is quite a bounty hunter.

Listen up If you have the data to become a professional developer. And you are part of the team. You fear nothing. So how exactly your project and your team can earn a lot of money. Tembolee technology that is now on the market is not where they will not go anywhere, they will only evolve. You should not look at any bands.

Well, if you have doubts, then you shouldn’t do anything.

I wish I could do a crypto career but it seems only engineering people or computer IT people with masters get the good jobs with high salaries. Apparently in the US, blockchain developers now get paid higher than AI experts,,, but of course with bear market you can see that salaries are being reduced everywhere, even for management positions.

Marketing and communications,,, also popular with crypto but they do not get paid more than in other sectors. And now probably even lower pay with this bearish conditions.
There are very few of them to begin with. Crypto is a big space but the companies that start crypto business usually start with a team already and it is really hard to get into a crypto career because those companies do not hire thousands of people, they are usually maxed at 50 people at most. Now considering you are looking for remote job as well because it is hard to come by a crypto company near you, that number drops even more.

So you are basically looking for remote jobs at a niche work, which means there are very few of them available. I am looking at places like crypto.jobs daily and when you apply to a job there the most common outcome is they do not even reply to your work. When they reply and you talk with them there is a big chance they don't hire you too. Even if they hire you they are paying peanuts and expecting amazing high quality work because they can find someone else to do the same job for cheaper and better which makes sense for them but a sad fact for you.

Your skills is in demand right now and very timely. As a developer, your concern is creating a great platform to be used in the blockchain. It is up to the marketing team that will create widespread awareness about the platform you create. As long as you have a great marketing team behind you, I think you will have a great future in the industry.

It's a great career to choose. ICO market won't end soon, in fact it has just begun to take over the world. Look at PRG, who knew cannabis legalization would come about like this. Play your cards.
