Don't feel guilty about it if it is really not your intention to make him addictive to it, you just invite him to play to entertain and no one wanted that to happen. As a friend what you can do is to talk him and his family and probably knock the sense out of him. Actually that's up into him if he really wanted to change for the sake of his family because after all even if you do all of the possible things to help him and he can't help himself or trying to help himself, you are just wasting time.
I want to ask for advice and input from members here, what should I do to deal with this friend of mine and how should I react to it because he became a crazy gambler because of my invitation.
Just tell him your mind and tell him to quit gambling. Let him know that addcits are not adviced to reduce the amount of money they are gambling with, that addicts should stop gambling and go for self exclusion. You know more than him about gambling is the truth, you can get some news about what ended the life of some addicts and how chasing money with gambling will only lead to depression, thievery or illegal acts. If trustworthy, tell him how you trust him, but that you are just saying how gambling addiction is not good at all.

A few months ago about 4 of my friends came to my local town house to bet on a football game and after a while they were arrested by law enforcement in my country because I live in a country where gambling is strictly prohibited and there are laws in it. They were all jailed for several days and had to pay fines to be released from prosecution.
