you might consider adding a column to indicate things like slow-paying, withholding withdrawals, or similar scam accusations. it looks like trade satoshi is having some problems: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/trade-satoshi/

We have received reports from the Safex and ColossusXT teams that user deposits are being withheld. Please be careful with your funds.

i think there are similar accusations against hitbtc and yobit too.

Hmmm, I'm not so sure about adding those columns, as almost no exchange is perfect. Scam accusations exist for almost every exchange out there. However, what do you say if I add a column of "frequency of accusations at Bitcointalk" and list the total number of accusations received by each of the exchanges within this forum till now?

it's a tricky issue but obviously some exchanges are more trustworthy than others. one metric could be trust flags on bitcointalk. for example, livecoin has a red trust flag with significant support: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=462136

but if an exchange is really small or doesn't have a big forum presence, they won't necessarily be flagged. the complaints against tradesatoshi are mounting. coinmarketcap has also begun warning about tradesatoshi: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/trade-satoshi/

at some point, one should stop recommending these exchanges at all. if they stay on the list, there should be some indication of the issues.

Moreover, that "slow-paying" column can get very confusing as well. Today, I literally received a withdrawal from TradeSatoshi within 60 seconds, while Binance took about 20 minutes to process my BTC withdrawal (resultantly, my BitPay's invoice got expired and I had to write a ticket to them about this delay); but I just cannot say in any way that TradeSatoshi is faster than Binance, because sometimes Binance processes the withdrawals faster while TradeSatoshi doesn't.

i don't consider 20 minutes "slow-paying". i'm thinking more about withholding withdrawals for days, weeks, indefinitely---like mt gox and cryptsy were doing before they went down. keeping wallets in "maintenance" mode for weeks or months constitutes similar scam behavior. and i wouldn't have a separate column for slow-paying......just one column to cover all scam issues.

A column if the deposit address is renewable would be nice.

Nessie.io seems to be one exchange that is taking a small fee as well 0.1% and they look like they can do deals. Not sure of the exchange itself on volume because they are associated with Bitcoinrush casino, so there should be a few alts for trading there. What do you think?

Nessie.io is redirecting to a website titled "MoneyPot", and that doesn't seem like an exchange or a trading website. Are you sure that you've posted the URL of the correct website/platform?

BTW, do you have any opinion on this?

You have done a wonderful job. I actually redirected to this page from google. I will be glad if you can add features such as the estimated numbers of users on each exchange site. As we all know now that one of the important factors to consider before listing on any exchange is the numbers of active users because it gives indication on how decent is the exchange. So many exchange this day have few traders but provide fake trading volumes in order to deceive people and get ranked in coinmarket cap.

Interesting suggestion. I remember I thought about it once but then gave up as there doesn't seem to be any suitable indicator in existence that can tell about the estimated number of users on each exchange. The only good indicator I can think of is the Alexa ranking, but then again, it's not like that it's totally unmanipulable.

Any suggestions regarding this?

You can google something like "Binance (or whatever exchange) userbase" and that might give you decent results but it's hard to tell the current situations as some of the articles are old.

If you insist on adding Alexa ranking, I would suggest trying Similarweb.com instead where you can also do comparisons between sites.

Thanks for your suggestion! Wow, there seems to be a lot of difference in these two platforms.

According to SimilarWeb:

Bittrex's top visitors include (by percentage share):

OTOH, according to Alexa, Bittrex's top visitors include (by percentage share):

Same is the case with other exchanges (Binance, Poloniex, etc), and I think that Similarweb should be trusted more, as having Russia and Turkey in top 5 make much more sense than having India in the top 3. However, at the same time, Alexa's ranking can't be completely ignored as they've been working since April 1, 1996. (Wait, 1st April?!? Is that Alexa ranking all about making "April fool"?) Cheesy

Anyways, what do you say about the usage of the sum of both the rankings divided by 2? For example, if Binance has an Alexa ranking of 752 and a SimilarWeb ranking of 958, we can just consider it to be (752+958)/2 = 855?

Guys, soon I'm going to replace the "BTC withdraw fee" column with a brand new "Alexa ranking" column. Moreover, I'll sort the exchanges by their Alexa rank.

If any of you have any suggestion(s) regarding this, please lemme know. I don't think that "BTC withdraw fee" column is of any use at all.

Binance's statistics updated. Now it's possible to leverage trade at Binance and CZ has also recently released the DEX version. Two more YES added for Binance!

So KYC is mandatory for margin trading on Binance, correct?

Yes!

In order to open a margin account on Binance, you will need to have completed identity verification (KYC) and make sure your country is not in the blacklist. It is also mandatory that you enable 2FA.

I suggest adding a link or at least an asterisk to the fees of any exchange with a coin that gives you lower fees (like Binance and BNB).

Makes perfect sense. I'll try to add that up as well as all those Discord/Telegram channel URLs by tomorrow.

Telegram groups: KuCoin, Huobi, Gate.io, Bitfinex, OKex.

I linked the tweet for Bitfinex just as a proof/reference that it's their real Telegram channel because I joined it, and it looks kinda fishy. I got instantly restricted from posting on the group, a few minutes later, someone (with very poor English) contacted me claiming that he's from the Staff so I suggest everyone to be careful there.

As for the ones you already listed, HitBtc channel looks abandoned, they haven't posted anything since 5 months now.

Updated.

Thanks a lot for providing all that information! I'm glad that I've someone who's always helping me in keeping this thread updated.
