It is a pivotal time in Crypto Kingdom as there is soon to be an influx of new citizens, and among others, Lord Baron noms would like to be ready for it. I have prepared a large apartment complex design that requires significant resources to be built. It would house over 150 new players and allow them to purchase the dwellings for a nominal price to get started in the game, hence furthering adoption and making an easy avenue for game entry.

I would like to inquire about the possibility of investment loans from the The Hypothecary Bank in CryptoTown or other financial-related entities that may have moneritos for lending out.  Is there such an opportunity in the current landscape for this type of investment (this would, of course, be including interest payments)?

I will be considering the options from my palace library if anyone would care to meet to discuss the matter.  The finest caviar and spirits will be served  Grin

After the online version comes out, i believe there will be an influx of new players coming into the game.  Some will have much BTC, but there are others who will have 0.05 btc worth of various altcoins to their name. That said, spending 50, 75, or even 100 XMR would cost the players between 0.09 and 0.18 BTC at current rates, and I believe it could be unaffordable to a large segment of the population of crypto-and that population is one that is quite important to Crypto Kingdom.

The reason we want them? They are btc poor but time rich. They can help the game by putting in player hours (getting CKG in the process) and also by creating rich storylines and helping with new ideas. I am appealing to those out there who are BTC rich (I myself am nearly tapped out-I've put almost everything into CK) to either help me with an investment, or perhaps become partners in a venture to further this vision.

We cannot enable renting in V.4. So the new players, in order to get a house, must purchase one. The very cheapest construction, not including architecture, BI or landscaping, is about 200,000/sqm, making a 20 sqm house (enough to have a free 1 q lot in B.4) cost 4 million. If anyone cares to make such a development with individual modest homes in their own lots there, he can most probably sell them at a profit for 5-10 million, which is not too high a price for most newcomers. At present the cheapest such homes are on the market by HM, for 25 million. They are located in the bustling 2-W, with a higher land price.

All in all, the Kingdom offers options for the complete range of players, from a few million up to several billion (the Royal Chateau of Versailles, to be built in the coming age, will cost approx. 50 billion m and take up a whole borough of 9 chapelries, already bought from the Town for 9 billion). It is therefore worth 10,000 modest homes.

Hello my good men. I am Archeadon Callixtus, Right Hand of The Church and its financial manager. You may remember me for my work taking over the Prioré Hotel management in 1506. After significant talks with The Church and The Bishop, the time has come to expand the reach of The Church. As such, It is my goal to make sure the goals of The Church are realized as soon as possible to spread the good word.

There are a number of Ecclesiastical Orders that will become more advanced to better fit the original vision of The Church. They include the following:

The Pious Order of the Supplicants
The Fellowship of Benedict
The Knights of the Temple
The Poor Company of Theophany
Another order whose name and function will be announced later

These Orders will be expanded and grow in power soon after 1600 and suitable buildings will be procured or commissioned to house the various Orders so they might better please The Lord.

The Church will be expanding the horizons of the Kingdom by utilizing the strenth of The Knights of the Temple to escort foreign expeditions (be it the Church-owned Company of Theophany or external clients, securing boats against pirates...), or securing far away settlements.  These services will be available soon to citizens and Royalty alike.

In order for these expeditions to occur, there must be many things created in preparation, such as boats and other necessary expedition items. The Templars will make available a number of boats that are available for rental, crew-inclusive. This will be known as the "Safe Trip package" and will include a ship, sailors, and protection services fur the duration of the voyage.

There is also a need to help out the newest citizens of Crypto Kingdom. It is the goal of The Church to help out newcomers by either providing cheap rent (social housing) or free rent and they would work as a friar.  This will create an affordable option for those new players who want to find solace with The Lord (who doesn't require a pledge of material possessions, but rather a pledge of faith).

It is a grand time to be in Crypto Kingdom, and I wish you all good fortune and long life! God Bless.

I have a question/idea, I'm not sure where to post. Hopefully it's okay here.

Since this is a game, and not simply an exchange, would it be possible, perhaps at some point in the future, to add an option within the game to directly buy ckg/xmr through the game? I mean it probably wouldn't require KYC and all that stuff. Entropia Universe is an example of what I'm talking about. Their game currency is pegged to real currency, and you can exchange it for euros/USD whenever you want, but it's a game, so I don't think the rules are so tight.

I imagine if someone finds the game and they're interested, they'd be much more willing to pay if there was an easy option, rather than having to fill out forms and forms, waiting for days, and then having to exchange fiat to bitcoin then to xmr and finally sending it to the game.

I think the obvious model here is some kind of retail (or online retail-ish; could happen though a mobile app or in-app purchase) starter pack with a bundle of assets, plus top-off packs or monthly subscription with in-game benefits. It may be somewhat complicated by trading CKG on an exchange, as most games don't have a mechanism for assets to exit directly, though unofficial farming and p2p trading certainly occur. Virwox does exist though, so there is some precedent.

The Most Urbanized Chapelries

The total built area of the Town is 105,388 sqm, with a few more Ancient buildings to come.

The most tightly built chapelries in the town are:
1-C   11,795 sqm   Old Town Centre
1-E   10,825 sqm   Culture Square
2-C   9,190 sqm   Trust in Economy Square
2-E   8,484 sqm   Triple Towers
3-W   7,747 sqm   Portal
1-N   6,975 sqm   King's Park
1-SE   6,466 sqm   Village
3-C   5,205 sqm   Palace of Culture & Science
1-S   5,179 sqm   New Liberty
1-W   5,145 sqm   Citadel

Altogether, these 10 chapelries that represent only 19% of the land area, account for 73% of the floor area.

53% of all buildings are still in the Old Town, but it is quickly becoming full. 1-SW is the chapelry with the most space left.

It is up to anybody's skill to evaluate where the land that HM originally sells to the town at 3.33 mil/q and the town sells it by chapelry at 6.67 mil/q, the fastest becomes worth 200+ mil/q, as the prestigious sites in the Old Town already are. (Historical note: In the 1400s, up to 3 q from King's Park was given for free to anyone who would care to build there (similar to Swamp now). The 1-W was sold at 7 mil/q and the lots lining the Jousting Ground were auctioned and barely catched the minimum bid of 10 mil/q. The 25-50 q haws in 1-S, now worth thousands, were actually given for free to the most prominent players. On the other hand, TIE haw was sold for 5,000 mil, and the initial price for some lots in the 1-E was more than 100 mil/q already in the early 1500s.)

The Royal CryptoArmy

In anticipation of the increasing use for the Army and the rumored Ancient company bonuses, many new companies have been commissioned in these final years.

Our Army consists of 27 companies, of which 12 are Most Ancient, and the soldiers fight extra fiercefully to protect their more than a century-old battle standards. The total strength is 226 men and officers, but the value of the companies is in their Combat strength, which happens to sum to 226 points as well.

The exact rules of the Army subgame are tba, yet we take this opportunity to boast of our military strenght and its great leaders here.

In total, we have
- 1 general (GEN)
- 6 colonels (COL)
- 4 lieutenant-colonels (LTC)
- 8 majors (MAJ)
- 26 captains (CAPT)
- 60 lieutenants (LT)

To illustrate the value of the army, a company with only 7 promoted soldiers, including a COL, was recently transferred to another lord for 450 million.

HM The King (GEN) - Supreme Commander of the Army

Commands 8 companies with 1 COL, 4 MAJ, 8 CAPT and 83 Strength points.
(Only HM is currently allowed to have Cannons, of which an undisclosed number is hosted in the Citadel)

HH The Duke of New Liberty (COL)

Commands 3 companies with 1 MAJ, 6 CAPT and 34 Strength points.

HE The Prince of Soul (COL)

Commands 2 companies with 1 COL, 1 MAJ and 21 Strength points.

Sir Ale, The Earl of Nassau (COL)

Commands 1 company with 1 LTC and 14 Strength points.

HE The Prince of OZ (COL)

Commands 1 company with 1 LTC and 14 Strength points.

HE The Prince of North Face (LTC)

Commands 1 company with 1 MAJ, 1 CAPT and 15 Strength points.

Sir James (LTC)

Commands 1 company with 1 CAPT and 7 Strength points.

HG The Bishop (MAJ)

Commands 1 company with 1 CAPT and 7 Strength points.

HH The CEO, Prince of Forte Spagnolo (CAPT)
The Marquess of Ramsey (CAPT)
HE The Chancellor, The Marquess of CryptoLuna (CAPT)
Lord Riddick (CAPT)

Each command 1 company with 4 Strength points.

The Marquess of Tavastia
Sir Heimo
Lord Sphericon
Cryptoknight
Knight Gabriel

Each command 1 company with 3 Strength points.

After reading pages and pages, and googling with different key words, I still can't find WHERE to sign up or play the game.

This kind of basic info really should be easier to find.

Hi, please PM me with your character's desired name, age, and sex and I will add you to the database.

The Ancient era has ended while we await the launch of the online version, coming soon, but you can still make deposits to your account and purchase gold (CKG) if so desired.

RWWC is out of Windows!  Shocked

The recent development of Triple Towers in 2-E added 6,000+ sqm to the Town floor area (more than 4x the Royal Palace), but also consumed 1731 sqm of windows, emptying the stock of RWWC, the monopoly window making company. The rest of the Ancient buildings may have windows, but the money does not go to RWWC, rather to the greedy merchants of Rouen (=> town).

In anticipation of increased demand in the Economy era, RWWC is interested in buying the lots 2-W-V11 and/or V12, to develop the existing industry there in a compact campus.

RWWC also has 200 SCI points, which in the recent auction fetched about 1.0 mil per, but we are selling the whole lot for 160 mil to the fastest taker, or 1 million per unit. The proceeds go to enlargement of windows production (to state the obvious).

Earl of nassau would like to buy the lot.

And this is great way to encourage reading, visibility, adoption...

Another one:

The Prince of Soul, The Marquess of Tavastia, Lord noms and myself have speculatively cornered all the land in the Borough 5.

The borough is prime in many ways, for example it is the closest Ancient borough in distance to the Old Town, where the land is habitually asked 200 mil/q and more. Currently 5 is almost unbuilt, but it does have a Town Registry in a classical building, and rumors say that when the great church there is completed, Cryptoland will be promoted to an Archbishopry by the Most Catholic leader, with the new church possibly becoming Cathedral.

No new land will be available until in Version 5: Economy (6+ weeks from Version 4: Online). The purchase of the remaining chapelries in Borough 3 where there still are some available, might pay off handsomely even in the near future, with their possibilities of becoming quarrying sites (Version 5) or immediate selling as lots to the new players (Version 4).

In Version 5, the Town will open as many Boroughs as needed and sell the land at 1,000 mil / chapelry. But these will be further and further away from action, have less stone in them, and - be available only in Version 5  Cheesy

A very hot tip for all Earls & Higher (and the aspirants of course)

During Ancient era, which closes in a few hours as I change the year to 1600, you should consider starting to train an army company.

Why?

- You cannot collect taxes without one
- When it is not collecting taxes, it can do guard duty => $$
- Ancient companies have a prestige bonus
- Longer training time yields better troops
- You get promoted yourself, meaning that not only you have a LT or 2, but yourself you become a CAPT as well, this being the first instance of the skill system to be started in Version 6: Skills and Businesses.

A company is a formation with minimum 8 NPC troops, including officer(s).

Hot tip is only available for those who read the thread actively, sorry for the others  Cry

Master noms has been ennobled (Baron, L9). "2 characters have started the game as Earls, and 2 as Barons. All of these happened in 1400-1420, and they currently hold ranks between Marquess and Duke. Apart from them, TA Lord noms has made it from start to nobility the fastest, in only 9 years, beating smooth's previous record of 10 years. The rank of Baron was eventually awarded to every Ancient character who held at least 4,000 gold. In the Online version, about 5% of the characters are planned to be Barons or higher. Currently we have 28 Barons or higher, which is actually below target due to the 1,600 NPCs who are not eligible to become nobles. In the roleplay version, starting from v.6: Skills and Businesses, the NPC's will be gradually replaced by commoner PC's with their unique skills. Becoming Baron in that era is not impossible, rather it is the initial step for advancing in Nobility, with the most skillful reaching the rank L14 (Grand Duke/Duchess, Grand Prince/Princess, Royal Duke/Duchess), and eventually be selected as the Heir to the Throne. From v.5: Economy onwards, men are mortal, and once great characters will live forever in the Halls of Fame alone. We wish the best to Lord Baron noms!"

Your Majesty, I cannot begin express my gratitude for being ennobled at such an early stage in my gamelife. Since I first laid eyes on the Kingdom I knew I had stumbled upon something great. I see many happy years in front of all of us, and many new ideas coming forth. I would like to raise a flagon to all who have been of help to me and all the other new peasants of this game. Here here!

One of the privileges of Nobility which also reoccurs at every advancement through its ranks, is the ability to enter The Noble Palace as well as own shares in The Most Ancient Noble Palace Corporation.

The price and value of these shares appreciates with both time and the price of CK Gold, which of late has been rising.

Shares are purchasable only by members of the Nobility and Knights (as the palace overlooks the Jousting Grounds and provides a most opulent catered viewing environment for the games there).
At each level of advancement starting from level 8 you have the option of purchasing one share, 2 at 9, 4 at 10, 8 at 11, etc.
Shares are currently at 5.97Mm each.

The Noble Palace is a grand shared venue for entertaining amongst all its members.  Centrally located this palace faces the Obelisk and HM's Palace, has well lit Southern Amber Room Galleries, Meeting rooms, chapel, library, and is one of the social centers of the nobility to hold court and conduct the business of the city in comfort and splendor.

It hosts regular meetings of "The Circle" which is a forum for presenting the current discoveries of the age, and boasts one of the more comfortable spaces for formal and casual encounters along with the delightful musical stylings of the renowned minstrel, Steppenwolf, some of whose performances and melodies of the chamber may be heard whilst enjoying the fine food and drink or other repast:
