There are scam ICO, IEO, or De-Fi but they are not scam in general, if we check the markets of altcoins now, you can see that majority of it came from ICO and that means they aren't scam although it's scam to say that majority oft he ICO projects are scam.

A scam scheme can scam in any way they want as they can use any concept of like ICO, IEO, defi to deceive the investors. Basically It is important to have previous experience to invest and stay away from scam schemes, because there are many shitcoins who provide more profits and then they run away with the money.

They are always saying as scam because they didn't review the project when it launched! They are always invested without proper knowledge on some project with so much hype then when they bought or participate to IEO or ICO etc. And then after they saw the starting price on the market and they didn't wanted or if its below the IEO, ICO price etc. They shouting all the IEO's ICO's are scam. So the lesson is we need to know the deep knowledge before we dive into that situation. The problem is some of the investors are ignorant. They don't try to learn first before investing.
You can say to the scammers that they are losers but also take note that scammers will not be successful if the investors are just knowledgeable enough to know which projects are scam and which are not. It is the fault of the investors too.

I totally agree with this. tons of new projects that end up in scams. there should be special conditions or guarantees to an agency or agency for a new project. so that it can be controlled and not cause problems in the future.
None of them should be labeled scam as long as there are some good projects.

Most projects birth via ICO, IEO and Defi are nothing but pure scam. Most are down with -91% and may never revive again, while most ran away with investors fund. So we just have few really success story. People hate good long term project with potentials but choose to chase HYIP to their detriment. staying with bitcoin and top altcoin will always be gold regardless of what happens in the market.
The scammer will exploit any conditions to scam investors, and they are very smart. They realize what is trending and will discover a path how to exploit it. So don't be shocked if ICO, IEO, Defi can be scam. Yes ICO, IEO are ways to raise funds to start a certain project but there are some people that exploit this method to attract and scam people right off the bat. You can not blame it from project running ICO and IEO and honest ways rather blame all those to people who scam others.
There is nothing that human beings will not be labeled. DeFi can be over-hyped but will never be a scam. Apart from being your own bank, you are getting incentives for staking or keeping your digital asset. As long as you are doing so with the right projects, it will never be tagged as a scam.
You said that defi will never be a scam but recently there are some defi platforms have been hacked by the hackers. I think that we can't easily judge it based on our opinion but anyone is free to express their emotions. The fact that if there will always be a trusted or scam defi. it must be judged from the fundemental of projects.

i think they should learn about cryptocurrencies before judging if crypto was a scam,
by the way, not all ICO, IEO and defi project scam thats mean they were wrong mate,
