great ladies for sure they are grounded by high level of knowledge in crypto trading. I've seen some of them fluent in analyzing every movement after movement on social media.  so it's not too strange, even I support this because every housewife can get passive income if they are able to trade wisely.

in crypto maybe I prefer not to mention the types of them especially here we are there namely crypto traders. But this survey is also quite good for raising the awareness of other women to follow in their footsteps in investing or trading crypto to earn income in improving their financial side but all that they should learn before they start.

Sometimes surveys depend on the respondent, and I think surveys like this are normal and not surprising, in my opinion the thing that is the advantage of women over men is that they can be patient and control their emotions, the real thing is when buying, women can be patient to bid and get the best price.
You may have missed the news from the website that has been mentioned in the main thread, there are 1500 residents who have been surveyed by IRCI and the results of the survey about crypto are very satisfying because many respondents have participated including many women who are active in crypto trading and investors, so the news is that there are many women has reported crypto assets compared to men is very unexpected because many women do not agree to invest in crypto, so there are many positive changes in developing countries in Singapore because women there are familiar with technology and keep up with the times to move into the digitalization era including in cryptocurrency.

Maybe women have better control over their emotions, perhaps they don't over leverage, or they don't put their hard earned excessive money in a single trade. That might be the reason that women traders are more successful in trading as compared to the men traders.

I wouldn't say women are better in controlling their emotions, if anything, it's the opposite. Women are generally more likely to make decisions based on emotions, although, as the emasculation of men progresses - those differences start to fade away. But I'd say the higher level of testosterone pushes men to seek more action and aim for higher goals, i.e. by over-leveraging mentioned.

I'm curious about what personal attitudes or actions from girls can help to make profitable trading.
We all know that there are differences in attitudes or physical actions between girls and boys.
Maybe boys intend to become more greedy compared to girls?
I wouldn't agree with that, girls are generally more greedy and they can get more quickly influenced when there is money involved, so that wouldn't be the reason behind them leading this survey. One thing I can think of is that maybe they are leading the investment survey because girls/women tend to be more patient than most men/boys.

Being patient is one of the key elements when it comes to Bitcoin or cryptocurrency investments because that is what keeps you together and makes you hold your positions strong even at times when the market is crashing or isn't doing so well.

"Singaporean women ‘outperforming’ men in crypto trades, survey reveals"
https://cointelegraph.com/news/singaporean-women-outperforming-men-in-crypto-trades-survey-reveals

The dawn of mankind is officially here. A recent poll from Singapore revealed that women managed to outperform men in the manliest games of all - crypto trading:
"As per the survey data, 76% of women reported either making money or breaking even on their crypto investments, compared to just 72% of men"

Since it looks like the answers were self-reported, there's a chance that women may not be telling the truth, to make themselves look better. But maybe there's something in the female approach to trading that would explain it (i.e. higher risk aversion?).

Link to the original survey: https://www.independentreserve.com/blog/news/independent-reserve-cryptocurrency-index-irci-singapore-2023
There's a downloadable pdf, they're asking for name/email but don't verify, so you can put anything.

Maybe women have better control over their emotions, perhaps they don't over leverage, or they don't put their hard earned excessive money in a single trade. That might be the reason that women traders are more successful in trading as compared to the men traders.

Also, if the see at the percentage, the difference between the women traders and the men traders in only 4% which is not so big difference.  Of course this data does not include the 100% of the traders so based on only this data i would say that there isn't much difference between both the genders when it comes to crypto trading.

It means that in Singapore women are more in the cryptospace than men due to their activeness in trading.

Nope, according to that study, in Singapore, there are still more men involved in the crypto market than women. In 2023, 48% of men held some crypto, for women this stat stood at 37%. Not a massive difference but still non-trivial.

What's worth noting is that 61% of female crypto investors reported that they were influenced by friends and family when deciding to invest in crypto, as compared to 48% of men. So it's like % of women in crypto is dependent on the public sentiment and whether people are recommending it to each other. Which means we're likely to see more women during the bull runs.

That's not quite true. The fact that women dominate some sectors doesn't mean they're better at that. Lots of women pursue careers in accountancy because they want nice, clean office jobs and that's "accountant" is the first that comes to mind. They'd rarely jump into that out of love for the numbers.
Women are better in tasks that are repetitive and/or that require patience, which makes them more suitable for lower to middle-tier positions (when you need to follow the script), but men still dominate in the top ones.
Yes, I agree with your overall opinion. The dominance of women in certain sectors is to be expected, but in many financial businesses we can still expect male dominance. For this reason, I am not too surprised by the survey results you mentioned because in the long term I can predict that there will be quite significant changes in the results.

If we pay attention, there are many things that women can do better than men, for example jobs related to accuracy such as finance and accounting, mostly controlled by women

Women are more focused with whatever they are doing and they are also patient because they don't need rushing to make profit. It means that in Singapore women are more in the cryptospace than men due to their activeness in trading.

In my country the percentage of men into crypto trading is higher than that of the women. Eventually, the women that are into it are good at trading and they are always making profit from the market. Bitcoin is really creating job opportunities for people all over the world.

If an exchange who has conducted mandatory KYC has released a report then that would be considered authentic but this is just a theory that some of the users that participated in the self reported survey claim that they are female but considering Singapore government has a positive attitude towards the entire cryptocurrency space, the rest of the things said in the article might be true that they are positive in the long run and would diversify their portfolio in the coming years.

The survey was ordered by the exchange but conducted by 3rd party. My objection to self-reported results is not that some men could pretend to be women, but that people are not the best in keeping a track of their profits/losses plus they'd often lie even to themselves. It's just like when you ask an average gambler how is he doing profit-wise, most would tell you they're around the break-even position or on a small profits, while statistically that's very far from the truth.

Men are more prevalent investors in the industry because both tech and finance have more men than women, and men seem to tend to get onboard with "riskier" things than women. But its such a weird thing to compare trading profits between men and women, as though one's gender would play any role at all in how well they trade.

So it's fine to say men are better in tech and finance, it's fine to say that there are differences in risk appetite between genders, but to say that this could translate to differences in trading performance is weird and unimaginable to you?

Generally women are more patient or focused on goals, when I went to school to college, most of the class winners were women, the nature of women who focus on goals and are not easily distracted makes them successful compared to men who are mostly impatient, when women enter crypto then she is more able to control emotions than men.

maybe because they have more patience than man? they are also one of those can completely managed their character from trading? separating their feeling when they trade means a lot in this area.
but also a sad news being beaten by women when in the past, girls dont even have interest in investing in crypto?
survey data! I would made attention, this is not an analysis with data, so I would take such info very carefully, precisely because there is no scientific methodology.
as it has been proven in the past, monkeys are able to make bigger profits than professional traders Wink

you got it there mate  Wink
The advantage of a woman when she wants to enter a field is that she can focus and concentrate fully, usually a woman can be more patient not to sell when she loses, she will focus on planned profits while men are usually impatient because they think it's better to lose and try their next fortune.
it is the best to understand that their dedication is completely perfect to enter crypto investing .

Does depend because it would always matter on someones experience if we do speak about impulsive reaction because even if you are a man or women but still you dont have that sufficient experience on the field,
you would definitely making up some impulsive reactions which would cause up those actions which arent really that worth. This is why you cant really be able to point out whether you are a girl or boy,
man or women, it doesnt matter because it would always count on how you do approach up certain conditions on which it would be always mattering on the experience
you do have on trading. This is why it isnt really just right on having these kind of gender criticisms or underestimation.

There are no competition actually instead this is a big step of helping the crypto community , imagine if the girls did not enter this world ? so how long it will take for us to cover the amount of supplies and capitalization now?

in the past they said that this is only for the boys but now lets see what is the big effect from the participation of women.

wtf..."the manliest games of all"

There's nothing masculine or feminine about crypto or trading. Such a weird thing to say.

     -  Because when bitcoin or cryptocurrency started, the majority of the community here were men and only a few women. Maybe other women thought that what men can do in the crypto space we can do too.

So because of that, many of them are also trying to learn and learn crypto skills in terms of trading, that's actually good because now everything is becoming balanced because it's fun to see that there are more and more female crypto traders in this industry. Women also show that what we can adopt, they can also do it, there are others who may underestimate women, which is wrong. We should even be proud and work together in crypto trading whether women or men.

Got it right, even on those typical sports or even with activities on which women is really been highly criticized which they shouldnt really be doing that because it is really just for masculine and not for feminine approach. This is why this had been keep on continuing on having this kind of approach on where there's really some discrimination or belittling about in between gender without even trying out to realize
that on what men could do would be also can be done by women. Trading is for everyone and it doesnt matter on what gender you do have as long you do know on what you
are doing then that what matter the most.
