Crypto trading or forex trading, are both profitable. That's not even a question.
The best question here is, how that trader will make his trading experience profitable. Even others will say that crypto is profitable, if you don't know how to handle the stress and pressure, you will end up wrecked. The same goes for Forex or stocks trading.
Just choose who's not profitable but on what do you think you can do better because of your knowledge.
They're mostly the same, there's risk, you'll need knowledge, you'll need to read or learn technical analysis or fundamentals, and you'll need to be profitable at the same time. I've tried forex and haven't tried crypto trading, but I believe they're mostly the same; if you're into fundamentals, you'll be watching news of those currencies or coins, and if you're into technical analysis, you'll be learning the same indicators. Strategy is also important, and I believe they are based on the same principles, but the gut instinct and feeling about where the price will go can be predicted by experience.
I see both points and its valid. You can be profitable on both sides if you know how to deal with your knowledge. There are many available references thru online but everything will end up with how will you apply this information to favor your investment.
It's always best to choose where your passion drives you, with your interest to explore further. The knowledge that you may gain is better to enforce your investment.
Just the same, it's you who will drive to your success. Both have separate risk and both have the capabilities to deliver good compensations it's all on your will to find what's suits to your attitude towards this trading business.
