Stocks are considered as the oldest financial market. in the world. While cryptocurrencies are an emerging market, they have the potential to be wildly lucrative. These two markets have many similar characteristics and are both financial investment channels  worth considering. Stock exchanges have a much longer trading history than cryptocurrency exchanges and therefore the level of market development is also higher. So I would choose stocks over cryptocurrencies.

For most traditional, they would choose stock because they been used to it and they trusted it much, for them its easy to understand and they can see clearly how it goes but then because change is inevitable they should also accept that crypto is now in, and they are more convenient and more chances of having a big profit.  Crypto is gaining worldwide today and more and more investor choose to invest in crypto rather than stock

For people who are not stopping to find more venue of investment they'll be embracing this new field,

crypto offer new ways of gaining profits, those institutional investors who's from the past are not really

interested with crypto are now also venturing to this field, seeking for good opportunities and  taking the

advantage of thier experienced. There's no comparison for true investors as they are all seeking for place

to earn decently.

Unfortunately old investors are too comfortable with stocks, they have a hard time trusting the new way of gaining profits. Therefore
the majority of investors in crypto are new investors from the millennial generation, who are more open to new things. But I really can't
blame the people who prefer stocks over crypto. They do this, because they do not understand crypto, because we know that there is a lot of
news spread in the people about misleading news about crypto. So it's very sad that there are still many people who haven't accepted crypto
right now and still choose to focus on investing in stocks. It does take a long process for everyone to realize that investing in crypto is indeed
better than investing in other assets.

crypto can give you money in a second if you really need it. you can sell directly coin you have. and its different with stock, like you need to wait until the appointed time. but, both of them give you good thing if people can manage what they do. its not who is better, sometime, people will choose what they like to,

Crypto is more of a stock for a super-mass user, and with almost any wallet. If classic stocks have some limitations or difficulties when buying and selling, then a crypt is an extremely convenient tool for investing, just as in one or another company. Yes, all companies are crypto platform manufacturers, but what's wrong with that ?! Risks, with today's regulation, are well minimized, the rules of the "game" are quite clear. In a word, cryptocurrencies have made it possible for almost the entire population of the planet to become investors or shareholders!

Cryptocurrencies are much more accessible than stocks because of their decentralized design. Anyone can start investing into crypto without the need to go through many regulatory hurdles associated with stocks. This is one of the many advantages crypto has over the traditional stock market. The only downside is that crypto is widely unstable, while stocks are quite the opposite. Investors are more confident on stocks than on crypto because they can rest assured their investment will not lose value overnight. Not to mention, regulations bring trust to the stock market itself.

One thing for sure, is that there is no perfect investment. Each asset type has its own advantages/disadvantages. Neither crypto will be able to replace stocks or vice versa. Investors will be able to choose from one asset type to another depending on their needs. I'd go with crypto anytime because it brings greater profits in the long run. But not everyone will find it attractive as a long-term investment. Since stocks are still relevant even with the rise of crypto/Blockchain tech, it looks like both asset types (crypto and stocks) will be here to stay for a long time. Just my thoughts Grin

People have often compared crypto to stocks since owning a coin, represents your "share" of the decentralized blockchain network. Exchanges act as brokers in a similar fashion to traditional stocks. While stocks are fiercely regulated, crypto is the "wild west". Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, while stocks are much more stable. Despite crypto/Blockchain tech's popularity, stocks are still preferred by mainstream investors and traders alike.

Which asset types do you think are better: crypto or stocks? Is crypto getting closer to becoming regulated just like stocks? What do you think will happen if institutional investors come into play? Will stocks transition themselves to the Blockchain? Or is it still too early to tell? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

I think stocks and crypto both have an advantage for their holders. if you buy shares we will get a very thin profit and loss rate, on the other hand crypto gives us the opportunity to get a very large profit, but we can also get a very large loss.
people who want to invest in cryptocurrencies should learn about the cryptocurrencies to invest in because if we choose the wrong one, we will get a big loss.
we must look for crypto currency that has the potential so that we can benefit in the future.
if I am told to choose then I will choose both because they both benefit me.

We'll you're right that in both bitcoin and stocks, generally the best thing you could have done is buy and hold. The more you're trading in and out of either, the more likely you are to miss the general upward trajectory of both. In short, the more you trade the less efficient you're being.

There are very few places where you can exchange crypto anonymously and that number will continue to drop as necessary regulations move into place, such as KYC. Further, volatility is not a beneficial attribute of an asset. Day traders might like it, but people who want assets that actually protect wealth and not gamble with it will find volatility a huge detriment. Literally nothing you listed as a positive is an improvement in crypto over stocks.

KYC will further legitimize the crypto/Blockchain industry. But it'll threaten the core fundamentals of crypto which is privacy/anonymity. People will only be able to achieve anonymity if they transact with their crypto in a peer-to-peer manner (in-person). At least, the decentralized and open source nature of crypto/Blockchain tech will allow anyone to achieve privacy regardless of government regulations. Not like stocks which are heavily regulated and completely scrutinized by mainstream governments. We could say that each asset type has its respective advantages/disadvantages. The smart person will take every opportunity possible to exploit both asset types for his/her own financial benefit. If you can hold both crypto and stocks, good for you. But if you can only hold one of the two, I'd suggest you'd go for crypto.

Nonetheless, I believe that both crypto and stocks will co-exist for many generations. It's yet time where stocks haven't adopted Blockchain technology for their own benefit. If companies decide to issue stocks on the Blockchain, mainstream adoption will soar like crazy. It'll be the day where institutional investors and traders will join the game. Stocks will benefit from ultra-low fees and blazing-fast settlement times (depending on the type of Blockchain network, of course). A world of many possibilities is opened by unifying both asset types into the core Blockchain protocol. Ultimately, people will get to decide which asset type to invest into for either short-term or long-term gains. Just my thoughts Grin

For stock investing I haven't learned or bought stocks, so for now cryptocurrency investing for me is still superior to stock investing, since bitcoin and altcoin prices have gone up like crazy, many stock investors have started to switch to investing in the cryptocurrency.

Stock is the old investment model that underwent over 400 years. and now is the 21th centuary when the new assets type and investment model appears, specifically they are digital assets and cryptocurrency. I will not compare about benefit and the stability between stock and crypotcurrency beacause almost people can know them right now. I want to see more ability of cryptocurrency and digital assets that how crytocurrency and digital assets will effect to the economy, in the current context, the economy can be damaged esasily more than ever.

I watched some new economy theories and concepts of young researchers, they are so specific. They are not ICO or Startup, they suggest application of cryptocurrency to combine with the current economic in their national, that is really so crazy, if they can do it, it will help a national develop rapidly. I remember that they are called NWCVN, I will find their contact and post it later.

Depending on the amount of money available, if with a small amount of money I can accept investment in this market to be able to get profits quickly. But if I have a lot of money then I just see it as no different, criticize a little bit to get involved and choose a safer place, probably also inclined to the potential of current markets.
I do have the same mentality because a small but guaranteed return is more viable for someone with a bigger bankroll while someone who is trying to build that bankroll/capital has to take some risks and which is what the crypto market can help you achieve.
Yes, everything that we strive to build and obtain also needs to be protected.
And the process of creating it will help us to have a better understanding of all financial markets.

Crypto and stocks both are great investments for future returns. Crypto are much more volatile because of that there can be good profit and loss very quickly. On other hand stock price comes up,down with steady race so you fund not get crash very easily.
Crypto investments are more short-sighted in general leaving apart Bitcoins while the stock market is all about vision and the futuristic value of the company you are buying shares of. I am not saying stocks is the better option but it is definitely the more viable option for someone with less knowledge because when you put money into some online projects and buy a coin, you are taking a much bigger risk.

People who don't want to be involved in too high a risk, of course, prefer stock investing as the first choice and for people who want to get rich quick and are ready to accept all risks, of course cryptocurrency investment is the main choice, but for me, stock investing is the main choice over crypto investing, because the legality is clear even though it is more stable
You're right being involved in crypto generally indicates someone is a riskier trader as compared to someone involved with the stock market, who is seen as a stable trader. But as someone who has done both, I can gladly say that even crypto has low risks if you invest and trade the right coins and coins with some face value and use-case.

Yes, trading crypto can be risky but that is if you are trading some relatively new and upcoming projects. If you invest in known coins with a solid market cap then almost never you will face a big drop in your portfolio because even in the worst times, the price of these top 20-50 coins hardly drops by much. I used to do margin trading with Bitcoins buying at a cheaper price and selling at a higher price, recently only I have started altcoins trading though because it was getting boring for me and trading isn't my primary source of income so I am looking at more potential gains.

- Agree that stocks have a high degree of legality in countries but the stock market also has very high risk games, they are a game system with a global reach, the number of people is not small, so if we evaluate the risk, I feel the stock market is probably a lot more complicated, too many components could increase our loss. The crypto market is still relatively little known, almost all of us just need a relative knowledge of this market, narrowing down the scope of options and achieving profits is too much, the risk switch only turns on when we put more ambition

That's the advantage, if you think of the risk oth have it, but like what you mentioned, inside stocks there are so many

influence that you needed to consider, with so many factors to understand it take much longer time to have a much safer

venture, while with crypto which still small compared to stock market, enhancing your skills is more possible in a much

shorter period.

In all seriousness, I believe crypto is quite comparable with stocks but with much advance technology. In crypto trading, you could have much more profit in just a small amount of time as well as reverse. However, in stocks, it is believe historically that it's price goes upward but in a long run. Market volatility in crypto is also one of the vital aspect when it comes to comparing the two.
for price movements crypto is indeed faster and more efficient. but regarding regulation and security, surely the people who want it will prefer stocks. Moreover, many stocks that have companies or legal entities that are recognized by the government. With this official license, many people are more likely to choose stocks that are considered less risky than crypto.
one word that best represents crypto in my opinion: freedom.

Being better between crypto and stocks depend on the owner and user for both have qualities that are innate in them making people make engagement and stay with them or get into both of them. Crypto and stocks are both good in their own ways so do not bother do compare those two for we have different stands or perspective depending on how we see which is the superior and inferior among those two.
Exactly, they have their own winning qualities and like any other things, you can't win them all. I don't get how they have to choose between the two when they are both a viable option to look at if you consider investment. Crypto is volatile so you have to look for other investment that aren't less volatile and stocks comes into play plus stocks have varieties which you can invest to make more money.
