No. The price of being able to get into crypto is much higher than investing into stocks, bonds and other fiat markets. In majority of third world countries this price of bitcoin is a huge amount. Hence I would say that the time for entering bitcoin has passed a few years back when the price was three digit or four digit and now is the price to sell. But yes looking at the long term even today if someone gets into crypto they will likely profit in future.

A matter of semantics here. Blockchain is a technology. Digital currency is the again divided into digital fiat and crypto and maybe more which I am not aware of. Both these terms are not mutually exclusive. While some countries have been embracing blockchain tech development, few have embraced crypto rather abhorred it.

This is called FOMO. I understand the sentiment but you have to be diligent about the market emotion here. Buying into at this point is a loss. This is the exact mistake that newbies tend to do with any speculative market. When the news dies down, the market moves down that is the time to buy.

Fair enough to call it a big investment opportunity but remember that it's not going to be back to it's heyday when a 100 bitcoin can easily be bought by anyone with enough money. Maybe you are right that the current price is still a big opportunity but I will stand by my point.

I think cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity at present. I don't think so, the biggest opportunity for a cryptocurrency as an investment wad back when the prices were still good enough that you can buy around 5 dollars a pop not this one although it's still a good opportunity, it's not the same as the last time because you have to spend more and get less in the process although if you believe in the potential, you will know for sure that your investment in that particular cryptocurrency is going to go up in long-term.

Cryptocurrencies may not be the biggest "investment" opportunity but they are definitely the most easily accessible sector where you can take the risk and spend your time and talent in hope for a better future. It is difficult to predict how much of an impact will cryptocurrencies have outside of the domain of trading and lending markets. Bitcoin is a different asset class altogether. It is already having impact in the real world with adoption by countries and leaders of several countries talking about it. It is the foundation of a crypto-economic society.

Now, what is built on top of it is currently restricted by a lack of a common goal for the community and the more than questionable ethics of its market participants including developers, users and marketers. Till this situation changes, I wouldn't call it an "investment". It is a risky enterprise with good upside potential depending on how diligent and intelligent you are.
