Most likely it will be so after a couple of decades. Cryptocurrency is the future. And they are able to turn the usual method for us to pay for goods and services
Each country has its own currency and the value of the currency will measure the economic development of that country. So I don't think cryptocurrencies can replace cash unless every country has its own cryptocurrency
I have a different opinion, I believe that soon Bitcoin will replace cash and it will be the only means of payment in many states. Bitcoin will replace not only the dollar, but many other currencies.

Crypto currency will not kill money. Crypto currency is a new generation of money and I think they will exist on an equal footing in our world.

Bitcoin can never kill cash ever. It is impossible, debit/credit cards are something we use daily and they are global and have been around forever yet still we use cash in some of our expenses.
Hence, even those bitcoin can get as big as debit card at a maximum, it can't kill cash because it is not as easy to use as cash, however debit card limit is actually a great limit for bitcoin to reach, consider how many people use cards everywhere, reaching those levels would increase the bitcoin adaptability to insane levels and increase the user count for bitcoin to a huuuge number.

That's really too wrong!
Bitcoins only replace parts with those that allow bitcoin trading.
For those countries that do not accept them, it does not affect the cash in the national currency market!

Of course, there are also some huge challenges and concerns with this scenario. If cryptocurrencies outpace cash in terms of usage, traditional currencies will lose value without any means of recourse. Should cryptocurrencies take over entirely, new infrastructure would have to be developed in order to allow the world to adapt.

It is unlikely that crypto-currencies will replace cash, but encryption will have an impact on cash, as alipay has done in China. Undecided

Ahmm. .I don't think crypto will replace cash, and I'm sure that the governments will never allowed this to be happen in the future, because they afraid of losing control of money since crypto is very difficult to collect taxes and it may used for illegal transactions.

I think cryptocurrencies are going to partly replace cash money and credit cards in the future. But the implementation of crypto in daily use depends on the government laws and banks in many ways.

There'll always be a cash economy of some sort, if nothing else too avoid coming under the radar of the taxman Wink

I come across plenty of tradesmen in my line of work who prefer being paid cash for the simple reason they don't have to declare it as income Smiley

Having said that I do think cryptocurrency and blockchain technology will become far more mainstream and accepted in one form or another in the future.

Now there are many barriers to the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, it is not only the world banking system that is against cryptocurrency, but also other technical aspects, and the government. On the one hand, it is a great benefit for the people, but on the other hand it is catastrophic for the government, which will not receive its share.

Whenever technology brings new advancement into something, it triggers us to dig deep into the history. The evolution of currency is a long chronicle which takes us back to the origin of civilisation. The reason behind using currency comes from the history of money which makes it a means of exchanging goods and services. Although, the standardised monetary system, comprising fiat money, comes up to scratch, it is still prone to some fraudulent activities.
To get by this glitch, Bitcoin was introduced as the first cryptocurrency in the year 2008 by an incognito personality named Satoshi Nakamoto.

Many Say Cryptocurrency Will Kill  Fiat Currency and Creating FUD all around the Internet, According to me if this statement is correct then CR.CARD Dr, Card has done this Long back, Cryptocurrency will be used by Smart people in future and many businesses will opt this for fast transaction

It's not easy to kill cash because still many people don't know and understand cryptocurrency and they will keep using Cash.

Whats your view about this

While the world is becoming the pool of fresh, supplementary or innovative ideas, the concept of cryptocurrency (Bitcoin in particular) is rising at a rocketing pace. Though many people are not sure about the intricacies of cryptocurrency, this digital form of money is on the verge of becoming a more trusted means of exchange.
Cryptocurrency can be best described as a digital asset which is appearing as a nouveau means of exchange, instead of existing currency also called as fiat money.
It fosters the possibilities of low-cost digital transactions. With this type of virtual currency, the exchange system is donning a progressive appearance leaving enough room for scepticism.

Maybe in time this will happen, but not in the near future. Most likely it will take a long time before the cryptocurrency becomes the official currency.

I don't think that cryptocurrency will "kill" cash. My view is that the government will create their own crypto and they will see all our payments and other cryptocurrencies which are a lot of now will die. Yeh, you can wish that our countries give us freedom.
