Decentralized crypto currency by its nature can not harm the national money of different states, because it can never replace national money. No state will agree to use bitcoin or other decentralized crypto currency as the sole currency of the state. This would be a fatal decision for this state. If the decentralized crypto currency will go in parallel with the national money, then they can simply complement each other with their different capabilities. It is not so hard to replace the fiat money. The point is that it can not be done so quickly. I think after a while, perhaps 20-30 years, most countries will not have cash. But there are still underdeveloped and poor countries in which this can not happen because they lack so much technology.
