Still a manic miner

why is that some GPUs are idle? I´m mining at Nicehash.
Please help us figure out what's going on. Could you specify GPUs by -d 1,2?

yes, i specify them all -d 0,1,2,3
in the long run, many other rigs do the same.
i only used nicehash, dunno if thats related to the problem

Works great for neoscrypt but not for zcoin:

Edit: Fails when stratum difficulty changes on http://antminepool.com for vivo coin

At some point will there be any Nvidia Volta optimizations (i.e. Titan V) for this miner?  I tried version 0.4.0 with the Titan V and LyraREv2 algo, and while it is on par with another miner I tested, it isn't any faster and thus have no incentive to switch.  I also tried --intensity=7, and while the program acknowledged it in the startup output, it didn't make any difference in hashrate (yes I see that intensity 6 is the max in the readme, but just wanted to test).  Thanks.
We have no plans to work with Volta in the near future because we don't have it. It might be better to try 0.2.1

Miner has too many stability issues, also startup is really weird and it launches twice when i put a shortcut in startup.
And when i dont it just launches on its own...
the speeds are good sure but i get critical errors and all sorts ofstability issues all the time. maybe future versions will be usable.
We will provide bug tracking system in the next couple days.

so this miner only good to lyra2z?
Good to
  • Allium
  • Lyra2REv2
  • PHI1612
  • Phi2

Hello.

Why people reduce the memory clock ?
Maybe to gain some watts ? Or to have a better stability ?

So,
with Nicehash, 6x1080 @ 65% +0/+0 ==> 257 MH/s
with CryptoDredge, 6x1080 @ 65% +0/+0 ==> 280 MH/s

It's good but Nicehash is cool with its dashboard and statistics

Is it possible to hash with CryptoDredge using the Nicehash's Pool and to have an auto conversion ?

Your hash a bit low for 6 x 1080
Can you tell me your brand of gpu, and msi AB setting?

Hello.

These are only Gygabyte and one of is a G1.

Atm, I'm testing stability.
Power limit 65%
Core clock +0
Memory clock +0

yes i am doing this

just use their stratum server pool

Could you give me an example of the conf file to use stratum server pool ?

Is there a way to disable auto start CryptoDredge on pc restart and when error? Thanks

I second this. It's also causing a problem with NemosMiner so that the miner doesn't always close when switching.
We will try to solve this problem.

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
I havent seen the hashrate drop by half yet, nor anything else for that matter on my test rig.  I havent checked the network traffic though.  So far pool side seems ok but i need to run it 3-4-5 days to get a good picture of pool side hashrate, errors, and dev fees.

On neoscrypt my 1080 i get 1305kh with cryptodredge 0.40  1350kh with excavator +100 +450 108PL. Seem like you have a solid platform to build from, I will keep an eye miner as it evolves will need something to replace excavator as they have discontinued support for pools that aren't nicehash related.

Periodically on all rigs I observe the work of the miner in the "two streams", with a corresponding decrease in speed. What does it mean?

I still have not received an answer to my question. No one else noticed the strange behavior of the miner? At me it was on version 0.3.0 and continues on 0.4.0
I want to once again pay attention to my question. Is he deliberately ignored?
We're trying to figure out what's wrong. Thank you for waiting.

i have to stop using this miner.

It stops hashing (getting work?) after a while. It shows 0mh/s doing lyrarev2 from nicehash.

May be it's a problem of nicehash. I'm constantly hashing  for 3 days
