It was a joke regarding an accidental typo made by Lutpin while typing my name that became a bit of a running joke.
It was not offensive in any way, in that certain conversation (if I recall correctly) he made a typo and I was making fun of him for that.
And that is why he posted that chat message reffering to the running joke.

Ofcourse a moderator has to follow the rules and be professional when someone asks a question or a user is breaking the rules.
But that does not take away our right to take active part in chatting just like a regular user. (following the same rules).

-A word can have a different meaning depending on the context of the conversation, In this context someone was making a joke in a non offensive way that I believe created no negative feelings to anyone who was chatting at that moment (and it was funny). That is why in that case the use of that certain word was (in my eyes and a lot of other people) not a bad thing and not breaking the rules.

It's moderators btw, not "moderates".

Accountant is a good friend of mine (and a fellow moderator, btw), I call him cout for short. Sometimes, typos come in and count becomes c(o)unt.
He knows what I mean with it, I know what I mean with it, and other people don't have to bother about it, if they dislike it.
If you're really calling me rude for making inside jokes with one of my best friends, you're missing out on a big part of human interaction.

Yes and we know when we can let it slide depending on the context of the word, otherwise you'd get a warning. A sure mute would be if you are being purposefully offensive/insulting other users. This was a just a joke between moderators, no one was or should be offended by this.

Your case was different, there was an offensive word in most of your messages.

Hello my name is Moderator accountant, I would like to express my personal opinion on some of the the complaints regarding the chat and the rainbot/faucet rewards.


We always try to be as respectfull as possible, a bit of sarcasm and trolling might come around every once in a while (from both users and moderators) but it is always in the comedic sense, without any ill intent.

If a moderator were to behave in a way you think he/she shouldn't please send an email to support so the administrators can review your complaint.


We do get to the highest rank without completing all of the faucet requirements but:

1) We do get the general rank but that does not mean we get the maximum faucet level, I certainly don't :p
2) We devote a lot of our free time on working to optimize the site and creating an enjoyable and convenient gambling environment. If there isn't another moderator available to take over when we want to take a break or sleep, we stay awake untill there is another mod/adm to take over, even If that means we don't get sleep that night and go straight from chat moderating to our dayjobs. Just so you can get you as close to 24/7 chat support as possible with the team that we have.

Even if we did get rewarded for that with extra rainbot rewards or the maximum faucet level (we don't). We spend almost all of the coins we get from rainbot or the faucet on hosting chat games, giving away lottery tickets, or put it back into rainbot. So I don't see why someone would feel the need to complain about moderators getting rainbot/faucet rewards.
