Now when I click on my username it looks like this:
And I can see that it is in accordance with what Lutpin said:

because my current highest faucet level is "Corporal" on PLAY.
For all the other alts and for BTC it is "Private", which seems fair to me.

It looks like more and more sites offering bitcoin dice are being forced to change their business model. I just visited your site, good to know that verification is still only optional. Do you see KYC as soon becoming mandatory for casinos? I think a lot of crypto people are bothered by this, and this could trigger a move to more distributed set ups. Do you see CGN evolving to fit regulations or to fit decentralization and privacy in the future?

I have a question regarding my rank. When I click on my username, I see this:
When I look at my BTC faucet level, I see that I'm not "Specialist" but just "Private":
(the same goes for other alts)
But when I look at my PLAY faucet level, I'm "Corporal" there:
I understand how it's calculated for different faucet levels. What I don't understand is in what way my overall rank is calculated so that it is "Specialist" now?

They will be with the next update to the site and your rank will continue to reflect your highest level.
As long as that has not been done, your current rank might be a mismatch with your faucet levels, if the levels changed due to the altered requirements.

Exchange is provided by third party service that require KYC, use other service if you want to bypass KYC.

Don't forget, guys, that your bet amount and profit must be at least 100 sats. I have come up with this setup
which seems optimal to me, but maybe you can invent something better. 300% increase on loss works most of the time, but surely it's risky as hell.
Or just place flat bets (no raise on loss) until you hit jackpot. Some players have managed to successfully hunt dice jackpot last month; 3 of last 4 winners seemed to be hunting jackpot if you look at their chosen payout on their BetID.

what's the holdup? is hosting costs too much?

I like CG on mondays. the speed is so fast i basically play on at CG all day and no other dice sites
then tuesday comes and i go play everywhere else and maybe play at CG here and there till sunday.

There are other priorities right now to improve the website. Time will tell how things will be handled regarding dice bet speed. As for now, bets already go faster compared to a while back.
