Checking into that thanks - Is there any way to lock the /user_data/configs/folder I noticed if you add this to the end of the Ip and the port. It will open the folder. I am sure there is a way to lock it or allow it not to be shared.  Thanks in advance

There is currently a .htaccess file in the root of the application that restricts access to that folder. I'll check the desktop application in a few hours. There are restrictions in place for apache httpd that are currently working.

On the phone app you may want to allow location - You cant access the app internally on the subnet with the phone app it is trying to go out and come back in to the app.

Like home and away ip addresses.

Using an external IP address while connected to the LAN is commonly blocked by Modem/Router manufacturers... Otherwise known as "Hair Pinning" "LAN loopback" or "Filterd NAT Redirection".
Look for these option in your modem/router configuration.

More information can be found here: https://community.linksys.com/t5/Wired-Routers/What-s-the-purpose-of-Filter-Internet-NAT-Redirection/td-p/63857
and here: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Why_can't_I_access_forwarded_ports_on_my_WAN_IP_from_my_LAN/OPTx_networks

Side note: We currently use the web browser on your mobile devices when we're on the LAN and the cryptoGlance android app when we're remote.

I'm not too sure what you mean in regards to the outside world

-Port forward to The machine from the internet.

If you're using the Windows app, you need to have the app running as it acts as a bundled webserver. You can port-forward from your router to your machine to allow outside access. Once you port-forward, you can use cryptoglance on any web browser (on your phone, another computer, etc).

Now that I have the CryptoGlance app installed how do I use it. Looks like I have to open the instance on my desktop to the outside world to use the app. Any directions would be greatly apprciated. Thanks

Version 2.0 has launched!

About ~1 month before 2.1 is rolled out. We've already had requests to add more pools... which is a good thing.

I'd completely forgotten about this software. I've resolved the issue with the S1 miners not showing. Turns out they just needed firmware upgrades. Will shut down my current monitor software tomorrow afternoon and give this a test drive.

Here's hoping it performs well because it has some HUGE boots to fill.

You let us know what it needs and we'll find a way to fill those boots!

Thanks for reporting that... I'll see what I can do regarding the overview/current rigs table. Just curious, what is your rig update time set to? (Settings page)

Right now I have it set at 1 minute. It does seem related to refreshing, because if I let the page sit long enough, the rest of the rigs show up in the Overview list. I just tried changing the refresh rate to 10 seconds, it still happens but with a little less frequency it seems. Also if I just let the page sit, after about 10 seconds when it refreshes, the rest of the rigs show.

As for the hashrate in the top-right corner, I'll change it to avg hashrate in the next 24 hours.

Wow, thank you!

I bought the cryptoGlance Android app yesterday to show my support. I know it's not much, but these aren't my rigs I'm trying to monitor either  Grin

We have rolled out a fix for the update issue and have changed the Total hashrate to avg speed. It's available on both the nightly and beta versions.

Cheers!

I do agree with the idea of using the avg hashrate.  Grin

I'm having a little trouble with cryptoGlance showing all configured rigs in the "Current Rigs" table. It seems when there is a large number of rigs configured (about 30 or more), sometimes the "Current Rigs" table only lists 1 rig. Refreshing the page a few times will usually get the entire table of rigs to show up. Example:

Also would it be possible to use the Hashrate Avg number in the Current Rigs table and for calculating the total hashrate in the top right? The Hashrate 5s number fluctuates wildly on my ASICs (anywhere from 50% under to 50% over the expected hashrate on the Hashrate 5s number).

Thanks!

Did you manage to make the Avalon 4 to work ??  Grin

Let me know! I want to add it to my cryptoglance  Wink

I don't have one to test with, but I'm working to find a solution Smiley

Great work, this is awesome software! I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. I'm using it to monitor some spondoolies miners.

Always like to hear that! Cheesy Cheers

Red dot with an ! means there is a dangerous amount of hardware errors. This threshold is controlled in the Settings.

As for access with the android app, you need to port forward from to your internal machine. This is different across all modems and routers, but it's fairly easy to set up. It helps if you make the IP address of the machine CryptoGlance is installed on to a Static IP, this way you won't need to update your port-forward rules when a new IP is assigned.

We can set up something to explain the settings, a legend possibly. Be sure to read the README via the Help menu

I input my Primsa ip, as well as tried my antminer s3, neither was picked up?

And n support for Slushes. Such a wicked looking app though!

Hey takagari,

Is the API for these miners allowing access? You need to make sure that:
1) API is enabled via cgminer config
2) API listen allows the IP address of the machine running cryptoGlance.

As for Slushes pool, I'll add the pool sometime this week in the Nightly build. I'll focus on the current Slushes pool, followed by the Beta version (if it's different)
