I use the standalone application.
Is that possible that something in cryptoglance is shared with the browsers ?
With chrome, I managed to find where could be the problem : it tells me shockwaveflash is not responsive.
Trying to help as best we can, but note that the standalone cryptoGlance application is exactly that. It is sandboxed, and does not depend on anything else. It doesn't even have Shockwave Flash included with it.
Everything else you are saying is indicative of a deeper problem with your system. When Task Manager loads, even slowly, once it is open, click the PROCESSES tab and then sort by CPU. This should tell you which process is stressing your PC.
Apart from that, there's not much else we can tell you. You may wish to try restarting Windows in Safe Mode with Networking, then see if the problem still exists. Or, try NOT running cryptoGlance as you use your PC, and then see if the same behaviour/lagging occurs. If you still believe it's the cryptoGlance standalone app, then you should try installing XAMPP and running the PHP version of cryptoGlance from source.
Again, that's about all that we can suggest.
