Ever since I have been in the crypto space,  2018 has been the worse seen and I feel that will be the end of the worse ever. If any is going to happen again, it will take a another long time again.
I expect to see a lot of changes this year. The year has just started and I am hoping to see improvement in coming months.

2018 is worst nightmare for those who invested at the end of 2017.

Those days were the all time high days and people bought in due hype even without knowing where their money is going. That's the lesson that those people must learn before engaging to an investment, it's not just going up all the time and they came in at a bad time.
I agree and it is the nightmare for those new in the market because they just come in without knowing on the high volatility of crypto. That really disappoint them and cannot believe that there investment come little and little value to let go what they are holding. It is the worst because they expect to rise again but won't happen instead it drops for more and start to doubt the potential of the coin.

The year 2018 was completely the crypto's worst nightmare, it's really been full of ups and downs. But in spite of the bear market, there's is Dapp.com who still made it. In fact, they contributed $6.7B throughout 2018. You may be interested to check their Dapp Market Report, such awesome!
Ups and downs is always there in crypto but even the market is down there some projects that can be successful in this kind bearish season. So I think that's why dapps made their successful even the market is bearish because they know how to manage it and they know to resolve it.

Yes, 2018 turned out to be a very bad year. But that's okay. This is not the first global fall, as well as in 2017 was not the last growth. We just have to wait. Every drop crypto is losing people, but with every growth come even more. And many of them remain.

Things happen for a reason and it's up to us on how to handle the way it should be. From the start, this is already been said that it's a risky kind of business due to many ups and downs that happens suddenly. 2018 definitely be not good but this isn't the first time to happen so, we must always consider it as part of the game.

I am not very upset about this, because 2018 has also brought a lot of useful things. A large number of scams have helped us to learn even more carefully to choose projects, so as not to fall for them. We have also received good projects this year, which have good prospects in the future.

The market and all analysis have stated that this nightmare is still ongoing. As on that Dapp market report that shows how the value and rate on the details.
Well, so far, we cannot avoid being in this nightmare blood-bathing market until this day. But, we still have the chance to be more patient if you want. To keep surviving is very difficult, but we have no choice.

As of the moment, I would also say that the nightmare is ongoing and the market will continue to bleed in the first quarter. We thought that the bear market will be over, but I'm afraid that it will take more time for the bulls to wrestle the market for them. But in any case who should be prepared for the worst and don't expect anything so that we won't be disappointed.

And just look at the bright side of it, at least this bear market has teaches all of us a good lesson. The price won't go on parabolic rise so its better for everyone to be flexible and take aside that all-time-high for the moment and let to trade and book profits even at this bearish trend.

Last year was considered a nightmare by many especially those individuals who bought btc in the last quarter of 2017.
They thought that riding the bandwagon will make them rich.
And 2018, is the year of learning - how crypto really works and how to deal with different altcoins & tokens that were created every single day.
Not totally a nightmare for those smart traders. You can still get your profit if you know how crypto market behaves.

Maybe people don't expect if 2018 the market price will go down very far. So they dare to buy the price of coins at high prices, but the market price collapses and many are trapped in losses. Yes, I agree that throughout 2018 this was a bad idea for Crypto.

The ups and downs of the crypto market prices are always there, only in 2018 that prices recede a lot in good coins so many people are worried about crypto's revival in the future.

of course the ups and downs of the price are on the way to the future. because each trip sometimes conditions change by themselves. so whatever the crypto is. we must be grateful instead of avoiding us. because the events you say are natural so we don't need to panic.

2018 was a complete disaster for the bulls with prices dropping by up to 99% in some cases. you either threw the towel in and sold at a huge loss or perhaps took the opportunity to increase holdings in some of the quality coins and wait for a recovery. Prices are likely to rise at some point so if you have the patience to wait things out the rewards will come. Quality projects will continue but 2018 was likely the end of some of the poorly managed projects.

I think that until now people are still not too afraid, because the level of fear is still kept at a relatively medium-low level.

It was not a nightmare for crypto currencies but for its investors. A lot of people are stuck in crypto because they have invested during the last pump. Hope crypto will recover and we will see new hights.

Those people who today have not been able to fix their profits in the USDT or in the BTC are unfortunately experiencing enormous psychological problems. There are cases of people committing suicide.

I still believe that if a project is a great one it will do fine in bad market conditions, the weak ones are the ones that got crumbled on and theyvare all blaming market price ,what about those projects that has no ICO? They never request for any funds even for listing on exchanges and they are doing fine ,the reality is good projects will always stand strong both on rainy and dry season

The weak projects collapsed? Are you saying that the price collapse for the BTC makes it a weak project? Indeed, it is normal for the prices on the crypto market to drop drastically once. Otherwise, investors would not appear and everything would be capped. If you analyze the coin price graphs, you will find that they have been downs all the time. These downs are normal, and we have to get used to them, and even profit and invest. I think the year 2019 will be like 2018, a year on investment.

2018 was a very terrible year for Cryptocurrencies no doubt but d'Apps seems to be doing so well like you mentioned, there is one d'App on the EOS blockchain that had more daily transactions than the bitcoin blockchain and this isn't even isolated to one, in the financial aspect, they are doing well also.

In 2018 it was just a continuos downward momentous, there was no single upward movement in that mix but this is 2019 and I know that things are bracing up for a change, I can feel it in my bones.

not really buddy, i think 2018 on Q1-Q2 quitely sweet, nightmare start on Q3 and last until now, hope it will end soon and crypto will recover again.
It seems like a crypto nightmare in 2018, it is a complete down trend, many people have left crypto because of that, I hope 2019 crypto prices will come back.
Everyone is hoping for the prices to comeback but lot of analysis says we still didn't reach the bottom yet so chances of fscing few more prices to fell on the coming days but still long term holders no need to painc the next cycle will give more profits than the current one.

Yes, nothing can stop them. It is really a great platform and it always has a team working very hard to take the crypto market to new heights.
I often appreciate such teams and it makes me more confident about a bright future of crypto.
Even though the market is at an alarming level, I still believe our market will never collapse. Cheesy
