Whats the ratio of returns possible roughly, is it roughly single figure percentage.  Cents on the dollar type recovery ?      I cant remember leaving anything much in there so I really doubt I would ever be due anything.
This is going on my memory only but Im pretty sure BLK still worked in the last days so I took the hit on a bad price and exchanged everything to BLK and withdrew it out that way.  That coin survives now and hit the price I withdrew at so in theory I was ok that way.   Did Doge still work also in early 2016 ?  I withdrew some Doge to a Reddit tip account which in Spring 2017 on a price rise had the operator 'disappear' everyones balances; seemingly a similar story of hidden fractional reserve.
Centralised deposits never work with crypto seems to me, just expect that.   Lucky I used the Doge to swap to get some physical gold held at brinks, nice they handle so little for me so I figure its cool to use that trade avenue like that.  Kinda ironic the cryptsy doge lives nine lives and ends its trail held in a vault somewhere

Some good discussion I missed here previously: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20004788

THANKS!, no i havent received anything yet, and i even couriered my bankaccount etc. so i was probably 1 of the first, i contacted them and said contact David Silver Personally, until now i havent received anything

I haven't received any check, I live in The Netherlands, maybe it takes longer to arrive, did anyone else received anything who lives in Europe?

and what if I take the check, does that mean I don't receive any money anymore from any future claims?, like the coinbase?

this David Silver lawfirm doesn't reply anymore.

and this thread also looks dead

Hoi Dunja,

I have received my check approx. a month ago, already got the money from my bank. It takes a lot of time and effort (and money) to withdraw a foreign check over here.

What I've read (not confirmed yet) future claims are included if you got accepted for the Cryptsy user settlement the first time.

If you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask and try to ignore the spam posts.

I stumbled across this research that Cryptsy did on the Stolen funds. I found it interesting, so I posted.  Its older information, but first time I had seen it.

Crypto MaAk posted this:

Very interesting..first time I've seen any of that as well. Of course crypto being crypto I'm sure nothing much will come of this information :/

Depends who sees it.

Good stuff!

Good snuff my fuckin ass!!! The article is riddle with grammatical errors, wondering out loud what entity now has him on their payroll. As for the following ...

Quote
Shout out to people such as Mullick, Jim Blasko and Marshall Long and Horus. These are all guys I truly respect in this space and will do anything for with no questions asked.

This fuckin Mark needs to have his goddamn head examined.

Hey, Horus (who I respect), how does it feel to have an ex-Cryptsy employee give you the same respect as he does for Mullick, Jim Blasko and Marshall Long?

For those new to this space, read my thread on Marshall Long --> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/has-roger-ver-lost-his-fuckin-mind-this-thread-is-about-marshall-long-1303147, considered to be one of the top five lyin' pieces of shit scumbags in this space. If after reading that thread and you still don't concur, let's meetup for some brewskis where we'll publicly cup one another's balls.

As for the Pastbin, I'm just gonna leave this here ...

I guess the proposal wasn't taken up on, eh?

Nice to see any case where Little Vern is denied access to his funds. If only they could get exchanges onboard to block accounts which can be connected to such addresses.

Hey, let's fork Bitcoin so that he won't have access to them 10K+ bitcoins transferred during The Event.

Gleb you know it's miniscule in the grand scheme of things. They wouldn'd fork ETH

Yes, it's a reference to C++ programming. Not sure what you're insinuating though?

nothing at all just noting a coincidence

glad you back

any insinuation is unwarranted, apologies

Of course totally unrelated, just interesting seeing the coincidences

I guess Lorie wasn't qualified to work at Cryptsy, eh? If she had worked there, she would've been versed on how Master Vernon was cooking the books and manipulating ... wait for it ... the servers.

Then again I could totally be off-base since Lorie's CV includes working in intelligence in the US Army alongside ... wait for it again ... Master Vernon.

I just SMH when people flaunt their BTC / crapcoin wealth on a public forum.

Even if not boastful, it's unwise!

People think I have a lot more than I do just because I advocate for it.

Of course they also think I "lost everything" when it crashed, LOL.

Black hats on LN are looking for you, @BobLawBlaw!

I fully concur...
I have no problem with that dude but when I see him posting about moving hundreds of bitcoin around
for retirement and stuff, I'm like wow dude, wtf are you thinking posting about that shit on a public forum?
even anonymously. But thats me I guess. I just figure in crypto there's no such thing as being too paranoid.

....oh yeah ... Vernon sucks

It's also heartbreaking to see his awesome retirement plans fizzle b4 our eyes.
