Is there anybody of you applied fot the Cryptsy Settlement Claim in past?

I sent my form in the year 2017 as I remember, and now I just asked for the confirmation, that my claim is activ and there is everything allright.

I got that reply with the message that my claim was not accepted cause I do not have enough evidence:

Thank you for contacting the Coinbase Settlement Administrator.

According to our records, you were e-mailed regarding your Cryptsy Settlement Claim on September 15, 2017.
Your claim was deficient as it did not include screenshots or account statements as outlined in the deficiency notice.

As a result, you were not included in the in the class of claimants who received a payout from the settlement fund.
For more information, please visit www.cryptsysettlement.com or www.coinbasesettlement.com.

Thank you,

That sounds very strange to me, they want have screenshots of my account. Im since 2013 registered in many exchanges and never do screenshots- is it fact that if I do not have screenshots, they will not accept my claim?

Let's be real, we all waiting for that 11k BTC wallet be opened by the lawyers one day since they own it?! so we can get 66.667% of what we owned in BTC. Look at what you did to many Paul instead of being patient with the losses of 2014 running a successful business now ur on the run possibly not seeing ur own family again.

In another note who else just thinking MAYBE I should call for a court hearing instead of just take the little we can get from this? any1?

12.  What does the settlement provide?

Coinbase has agreed to create a Settlement Fund of $962,500. After deducting attorneys’ fees, costs, applicable taxes, and other monies, fees and expenses (see Question 19), the Settlement Fund will be distributed to Class Members who file valid claims.

As a Settlement Class Member, you will give up, or “release,” your claims against Coinbase. The release includes any claims made or that could have been made arising from or related to the facts alleged in this lawsuit. The release is described in more detail in the Settlement Agreement and in Question 16 below.

Looks like lawyers get a windfall and the Corruptsy victims will probably get pennies.* Big surprise there.

* Speaking of pennies, wasn't there some scammy crypto called pennies  that Corruptsy listed, iirc ? I think I mighta even traded some. It was all monopoly funny money to me back then. lol

962k$ that's all? Sounds ridiculous. I'm sure, there was lot's of members, they lost individually more than 962k$

But after few years there is something going on. I thought everybody forgot cryptsy

Well ,I have lost many cryptocurrencies many of that I don't even remember which they are today. it was one of the first favorite exchanges I used.

Also, we obtained for Cryptsy account holders a judgment against Paul Vernon, which we hope to one day collect. We do not know if or when this may occur, or how much money may be recovered.

bolded text is code for "albeit, hell will freeze over and the second coming occurs before we even collect a dime"

There was already a settlement a while back from the class action lawsuit.  Are you saying the there may be more that we could get back? I did get a small percentage back from my loss.

Yes!
1 in 1999999999999999999999999999999 chance..

No word from Vern or movement of important wallets in a very long time..

One would think Vern would tell the truth on his deathbed or something..

Did anyone investigate the other coins that forked BTC? Those could be liquidated on the forked chain.

Also there may be another reason that the coins didn't move. Take the coins off the market in order to pump BTC after the fork. Leaving many traders without capitol to leverage against them.

If that is the case they made much more than what is sitting in that address. Think of all the profits that were taken on Cryptsy alt pumps and dumps insider trading that they wrung out BTC with and nobody will look at that coin and where it went.

I must have missed this. Paul Vernon must still be around. He stole a bunch of my money when Cryptsy went down. Is there any chance that authorities will catch him?

nop. successfully complete his mission / bags of coin unloading in china (  bitcoin turn into cash Help off Coinbase , buy back Bitcoin in otc way with no track left behind ) its over now

How do you know it has anything to do with Coinbase? If funds were transferred through Coinbase addresses, they had to be done through a verified account and the track would have to be there.

next CLASS Action on coinbase & hold on .

Surely, the receiver didn't skip the same math classes that Leroy Fodor skipped while earning his B.B.A. from Ohio University in Athens, OH, eh?

Further, how the fuck was the receiver able to confirm a hack occurred when the general consensus is that it was an inside job by none other than Paul Vernon?
Bump.

Checked txid and it looks like the mother load of hacked coins (11K+) hasn’t budged.
At this point, I highly doubt anyone has the keys, including Vern the worm.

It seems to remain a mystery, just like Satoshi's wallets. And it will certainly be better that this is what happened and no one moved it.
Whenever coins from forgotten wallets start moving, at the market is starting panic.

He did cash a lot out through CB but he got away with it long enough to ... get away with it..
